Wisp's read on Rodemy is shallow, but so are the reads on Wisp.
the reads on me are level 0 that's for sure, but my read on rodemy is 11/10... They just mad cause they ain't me
It's an okay read.
I see where you're coming from - scum!Rodemy would probably be sick of rolling scum so many times in a row that they would not enter the thread how they did here as scum. But it's also the correct way to approach the thread as scum, mimicking the excitement they'd feel as town hypothetically.
ur right it is the correct way to approach the thread, but not to ***** on Rod's ability as a player, but I don't think from last game he has this exponential jump in skill, and it's not even only that, I am highly skilled at tonally reading entrances even outside of the slight meta I am using, anyways gotta drive for an hour
.... Or he's just excited to play Game of Thrones mafia?
There's only so much flavor and mechanics can do for someone not looking forward to another game as a wolf, imo. But that could be a factor. I say it's NAI currently, but if he keeps it up, maybe it'll become town-indicative.

Cool, what's my alignment?

From what I read I'd put @DV and @RE closer to town, but that be an insult to DV's overall ability, not so much RE's, but I'm confident I can get her alignment fairly easily
Honestly, if there's a neutral in the game, it's probably Rhand.
Faction of one smells.
That can change if there are other loners, or if DV's telling the truth about the recruitment power. Shifting wincons seems to be toeing the line, imo.
I mean maybe it’s just me but I actually like coordinating with scumbuddies and not doing weird things that draw attention. I probably wouldn’t have suicided last game if we still had Daychat.
So you think in the day chat, before people have said anything content-worthy in the main thread, they decide that no one on their team should townread Rodemy?
Maybe it's because I have meta, but it's my assumption that bursting into the thread with a read on someone is exactly what scum!Wisp can and will do, without ever needing to plan it out with buddies.
For your scenario to happen, scum would use the daychat to warn Wisp (and maybe their other buddies) not to townread Rodemy for that one post of his, which seems like a ridiculously specific case. Is that what you're suggesting?

@Wisp the context should make it clear, but the latter declarative statement.
Since no one has done it yet, this is town!Vaimes. I don't care who is in his chats, he never comes out this energized for a second wolf rand in a row.
Honestly, if there's a neutral in the game, it's probably Rhand.
Faction of one smells.
I mean, to be fair, there could be a number of roles he could be. Bronn is the most obvious, others easily come to mind.
I'm going to go ahead and assume that the mafia are the White Walkers. In which case, not gonna lie, we're probably screwed, because this game is openly built on us not cooperating with one another.
... Which makes it pretty accurate to the source material, save in one key respect: when you play the Game of Thrones, you win or die. In this game, that binary is not necessarily true.
@Wisp the context should make it clear, but the latter declarative statement.

same conclusion, but different thought process, but yes I agree
I’ve never seen Wisp as scum. Is he a confident scum player?
Yes. And I would link you the game. But Wisp can confirm that the thread was accidentally deleted from our home site.
To give an example of his confidence there, he gave cop cover for a couple of the early pages as part of act in appearing town.
I mean, that's always possible? But in my experience, an attention-grabbing read isn't something discussed or brought up until after it actually happens.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but most of us if not all have been given a House as a secondary faction in addition to town/mafia/neutral(?). If mafia are the Whitewalkers, would a mass flavor claim not immediately out them? And it's not confirmed that those in the same house are all in the same alignment, no? But mafia being Whitewalkers would confirm that our entire house is town.

My assumption was that the mafia were people raised as wights among the houses. But yeah, that's not necessarily reliable, and the whole point is we can't even trust the people within our houses...
Each player will not only have a traditional Mafia alignment, but will also be a part of an ingame house or faction that has an alternate wincon (or wincons) that can be achieved in spite of or alongside your main factional win. You will know the members of your house/faction, and share a night chat with them (as such, use of discord is required for this game). You will not know their alignment, and flavor will be functionally random between the factions. It is possible for a player to win two ways.
... so I don't even know what the proper play is here.

I’m all alone in my faction. I would love that recruitment shot of DV so I have someone to chat with.
House Arryn?
I'm only so good, and not all entrances can be read, though I do believe that all entrances have some semblance of the person's alignment
Throwing my vote behind Sir Chris for the Iron throne for now. Anyone else down for Sir Chris as D1 chair sitter?
I also accept DV as an Onion Knight to Sir Chris.
Club Flamingo Wins: 1!
Give me a reads list of the people so far.
@Rod: How does [Wisp sharing with the class some examples] work, exactly?
Liking Wisp's no nonsense + confidence approach.
Liking RE actually thinking about Wisp's townread on Rod rather than just towning/scumming Wisp one way or the other.
@Vaimes: Who are you seeing as unaligned?
@Rhand: You want others to join your faction? Would joining someone else's faction work for you instead?
@LnG: Why Sir Chris?
Also, I have no desire to sit the throne. There are better candidates.
Vote: Coballt Welcome!
Faction of one smells.
That can change if there are other loners, or if DV's telling the truth about the recruitment power. Shifting wincons seems to be toeing the line, imo. Last is likely not aligned with Rod, DV, or RE.
Eh no? He claimed neutral.
Now that I think on it, Last is either only scum with a very specific set of potential players, or he's just town.
Because I don't think his team lets him bust in with a townread on Rod of all people.
How would his team have any control over what he did?
JK
OR AM I?
Strong disagree, but it isn't going to stop me from trying.

I think I’m doing a little too much projecting of what I’d do on a scumteam.
TMI really is a curse.
Since no one has done it yet, this is town!Vaimes. I don't care who is in his chats, he never comes out this energized for a second wolf rand in a row.
Yeah...
... color me skeptical there.

I mean, that's always possible? But in my experience, an attention-grabbing read isn't something discussed or brought up until after it actually happens.
Well Buckle Up Buddy this is the new plan.
How did you reach that conclusion?
Did you just try to meta me?
My assumption was that the mafia were people raised as wights among the houses. But yeah, that's not necessarily reliable, and the whole point is we can't even trust the people within our houses...
