I was going to say something about that, but I think we should stop talking about mission 1 failing or not so we don’t give scum more hints on how to behave if they get picked.
I think we should move to selecting players and do this mission so we have something real to talk about.
But I think we can write lngr off as town here. I think we should auto-include him in every mission unless results prove otherwise.
I actually disagree that that derp is specifically a town derp (I’m not reading lng strongly in any direction atm) but that doesn’t move the needle for me.
I agree on the first mission.
Cantrip, you should send you, me, and Rhand. I’m actually liking both of you currently.

Actually, thinking about it, it is nice to send Shadow on that mission.
A fail could be pretty awesome. Although I don’t think Shadow will fail even if he’s scum.
I endorse Shadow/Cantrip/me.
Either we get nice info to work with, or we have mission 1 in the pocket. Win/win.
Well if we make it to mission 5, and I'm not on the mission, we won't be seeing a town win
to be fair, @Shadow, im just scared off you, I dont think I have the ability to distinguish your town and wolf game

That’s a long way off -_-
ya well, in my eyes im the only confirmed town at this point, and im selfish, and i want myself on the first team
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
Are you trying to pocket me Shadow? That won’t work
Anyways, I’m ok with any team for mission 1.
If you’re also town (my current suspicion) then it totally will
(How are you Townreading Rhand at this early stage?)
(He’s actively looking to push the game forward, making reads, and has a feel of not having info. The last bit is more of a feel read. Obviously this is a page two read, but we kind of need to move this game at a faster clip than we would for a normal game)
I’m wary about Shadow townreading me early because of what I just pulled off in Token mafia, but his reasoning actually makes sense so
I like KJ for asking what I was going to ask.
I have absolutely no idea what to think about LW.
@KJ: any read there?
@Last, why do you think the mission leader should always be in the mission?
Also, one issue I see with the dummy missions. If an informant is the mission lead, he could send off a robber on a dummy mission, then vote fail himself and blame it on the robber. Not sure how we get around that other than its word against word. With only five missions, not a lot of wiggle room.
I am fine with shadow, Cantrip and rhand. I don't trust LW yet, but he is hard to read.

first of all I did not say always on every mission, I specifically said this mission if you look above, and its because in your eyes, you are the only confirmed town at this point, 2 unknowns is better than 3 unknowns. it will get to a point where we may or may not believe the mission leader is our enemy and therefore we would never accept him on the mission regardless of if hes the mission leader or not
dont hedge on me, you should consider me locked town, until proven otherwise, or you will hurt urself thinking about it too much
(LnGrrR: I'm gonna mangle this accent multiple times I'm very sorry. Also my dad's actually from Watertown. He no longer has an accent though)
"Someone was asking me about Pipes or whatevah his name was? He's wicked abrasive but aside from that, nothin' majah.
Also, the reason I have a problem with people thinkin' Slick is unlikely to be one of them fibbies this early is he hasn't had the opportunity to do anything wicked shady yet. It's too easy.

I was hoping we'd get a sighting of the rare Rikubeast, but alas.
Oh well.
I thought was pretty ballsy to waltz in front door. The guy who thought of that has cojones the size of cantaloupe. Oh, wait, I thought of it.
Yeah, is right. We going straight in front door, 22 tons, and I's gonna push it open all by self.
Is joke. I can't push 22 tons. Not yet. But joke about front door, no. Is gonna take Jones, must handle combinations, timing. Also won't even *get* to door without proper documents, so need Pipes and his papes. And me, just in case the combinations don't work and we have to punch our way through.
@Rhand: even though it’s the first mission, and it would almost certainly pass regardless, having a fail right off the bat would be a pretty brutal gut shot, and I think last stands a really good shot at being scum.
Me and shadow probably v/v
This will pass, and then tomorrow we will do this + one more which is mostly like the next mission leader, and that will fail, because that's how it usually goes
@shadow
So you think this team is v/v/w? Maybe vww?
If you think that me and grr are scum together, then tomorrow's mission is gunna be rough, because one of us will have to choose to fail it, and if we both fail it, we are literally both outted, more or less
If Cantrip is a wolf, he never chooses his partner in the day 1 mission for the same reason
Also I was joking about not approving the first mission if I wasn't in it, or was I?
(I kinda think that both Lat and Shadow are spies. Last for the train of thought where he needs to be on the last mission so therefore he needs to be on every mission [which is a weird train to have] and Shadow for how viscerally he doesn't want this mission to happen. I think there's two spies, and I don't think it's Cantrip.
I actually wanna see this mission go through. If it fails twice, then we have a lot of info.)

@KJ, if the mission is me, Cantrip and Last, and you think it might fail twice, who do you think is the other informant besides Last? Viven you dont think it is Cantrip, assuming it is me?
Monsieur, you wound me.
Shadow, if I vote down this mission, assume I wouldnt add you. Who would you suggest as a Team?

Somewhat serious, I’m not inclined to send last on any missions. I want to let this develop a bit before I say more though.

Proposal 1.1: Lng, Wisp, Cantrip
1.1: Cantrip, LnG, and LW
Please vote by PM. All votes will be made public.
I will be accepting preemptive pass/fails on the mission but if the mission is voted for I will still have a 24 hour mission phase.
Mission phase will be a no posting time as a heads up.
The post directed at lng has coachy feels to it as well, I’ve not had any direct pings from lng, but I’m leery there because of that.
Cantrip, why did you propose that grouping?
That being said, it’s mission 1. It really doesn’t matter who we send. I don’t get why Wisp and Shadow are so much against sending each other.
Oui oui, pas de problem! I will aid you where I can! I will not fail you, monsieurs et mademoiselles!
I voted oui, bien sur!
@Cantrip, why Wisp?

agree with you here
