Rhand:I actually expected scum to kill you tonight Rhand because Anak suspected me so thoroughly. I would have rexamine all my reads.
But I probably was leaving more Osie than you at the end of the day. You made very few mistakes and Osie was being weird. Obviously I latched onto that now than I should have. Good game though. That was fun.
Lngrrr: I was waiting for the argument that Shadow was a good analyst and therefore his readss in death still had merit. But for the most part dead town reads don't matter. Dead town cases, sure. Cases have abstract cause and effect independent of the person making them. That's relevant. "Player X was scumreading you" is easily countered by "Player X is fallable and was wrong"
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
FWIW dead shadows reads were pretty bad. He maybe could have gotten there today, but yeah, I was in rhand’s pocket
I did a pretty good turnaround on you though KJ, you kept at it in a very townie way.
Yeh KillJoy changed the stakes for me.
He was so townie all of a sudden that I felt I had to change gears and go for Osie instead.
It was pretty amazing how obv!town Osie all of a sudden became lyncheable and obv!scum KJ the opposite.
@KJ, so you might have guessed, but I somewhat blew up that argument because it was something I felt I could be somewhat sincere about. I do take stock in dead townie reads, but I harped on it a lot because it at least gave me something.
And reanswering an earlier question... Apparently I do know Rhand's process a bit now.
Lngrrr: I consider them but with a grain of salt. Unless they're spelled out every thought in their head is to easy to be misinterpreted.
Taking a look at someone because someone you trust was scumreading them and using the fact that confirmed town was scumreading them as an argument aren't the same.
My biggest problem with that argument was your whole deal was repeating by words back to me with no analysis on why I'm scum for it. I could kinda tell you weren't actually scumreading me.

@KJ, to be honest, not sure if that was a me being scum thing or a me not explaining it correctly thing. I do sometimes sheep the reads of dead townies that I think are better than me, even if I don't necessarily think the player has been scummy.
I’m happy you never really managed to explain well how you went from KJ is scum, even with a vote in lylo, to being so sure it’s not KJ.
I still wonder why that was

Thanks for the host Tom, I know it was short but still very appreciated!
Sorry Osie for the miss, real problem was I was never lynching Rhand so we would have been in trouble no matter if I got you or Lngrrr right. I do feel bad though, please understand it was nothing personal and just a bad.play on my part

That's just how I see it.
Thoughts to come later...

LOL.
Hard tone reads on 261-287
Night actions were hilarious to me
Scum kill the despy whos killing himself, but got bodyguarded, who got copped
And then the very powerful thief token steals...
Baker
One setup thought:
Think there needs to be more tokens!
Like, doctor should give a bp token
Baker changes to token counterfeiter
Thief gets more interesting (maybe even becoming a both alignments role)
