The book flops open lazily to the page labeled "Otyugh."
A loud belch echoes throughout the library as the motionless creature is returned to the pages.
It appears to be covered in stab wounds.
Empoof died.
He was:
An Otyugh (Town Vanilla)
Role PM
Welcome to Monster Manual Mafia, empoof.
You are an Otyugh (Town Vanilla).
Otyughs are grotesque subterranean monsters that lurk within heaps of refuse. Although primarily scavengers, they never object to a meal of fresh meat when the opportunity presents itself.
An otyugh is a bloated ovoid covers with a tough, rocklike skin, as well as dung, trash, and scraps of decaying organic matter from its lair. A vinelike stalk about 2 feet long rises from the top of the disgusting body and bears the creature’s two eyes and olfactory organ. Its mouth -- little more than a wide gash filled with razor-sharp teeth -- is in the center of the mass. The creature shuffles about on three thick, sturdy legs and grasps objects with two long tentacles covered in rough, thorny protrusions. The tentacles end in leaflike appendages covered in more thorny growths. A typical otyugh’s body is 6 feet in diameter and weighs 500 pounds.
Otyughs spend more of their time within their lairs with only their sensory stalks exposed, shoveling food into their mouths. Intelligent subterranean beings sometimes coexist with otyughs, which they regard as convenient garbage disposals: They dump their refuse in the lair of the otyugh, which generally refrains from attacking them.
An otyugh attacks living creatures if it feels threatened or if it is hungry; otherwise it is content to remain hidden. Otyughs rake and squeeze their opponents with their tentacles, which they also use to drag prey to their mouths.
. You may be dangerous to a party of adventurers, but among your fellow monsters you have no weapons but your voice and your vote.

With 3 alive, it takes 2 to majority lynch. It is now Day 7. You may resume posting.
Alright, I am strongly leaning ScarletCelestial as scum here. I do not think Marko struggles with whom to kill, given that I am alive.
Scarlet, why should I vote Marko?
Kinda depends on what you're scumreading me for - if it's something to do with VCA then it can't be changed, really, and I'll just have to take the loss (I'm kinda assuming you're Town for the purposes of this conversation, and to be fair you not snap voting me/Marko could easily suggest you Town). If it's to do with anything else I would like to know why so that I can defend myself properly.
You should be voting Marko because he must be scum if you're not. If he's scum, then the disengagement makes a lot of sense, and he has no EoD votes that can be looked into very well. He doesn't say much, which means it's hard to know what he's thinking. I'm sorry that it's not the best explanation.

@Marko, why did you not vote back?
Because I want to make sense of Marko's reaction to my vote, but I'm leaning to not good right now. For one, in the case made I'd assume that he'd just vote me right back as you mentioned, for two it feels more angry than pleading. In my very few experiences in LYLOs (like, two and one was in a turbo) scum tended to be more manipulative and angry, compared to the calmer and more worried Town.

I don't really have any questions when you see this Marko, mainly because on most posts you've made it's pretty hard for me to question them without having to have them expanded upon which is my usual process.
However: I did ask for that scum game with you and Empoof as scum and I'd still like to read that.

Marko, to me it looks like you don't care and Titus is caring about your answers. If she voted you now, I can't say I wouldn't vote you again just to end this and finally know.
When comparing the disconnect you have in thread and being below anyone's radar makes sense to you being scum and I only just realised it. Somebody said it was weird how Wheat just rolled over like he did: and they said they thought that if Wheat's partner was good or presumed Town then that course of action would make sense.
With how you reacted to my vote I thought you'd check in every now and again to question us about something or say your thoughts or answer any questions Titus would have, yet you're continuing to not be around in LYLO.
With Titus, the one thing I've had in mind this entire game is that if they're being pleasing, they're scum. I've decided that the behaviour is anything but, and that I should probably trust that meta (source: Tammy) after rereading Unforgiving Mafia again, since it felt more pleasing than it did here. (Titus, before you say "I was playing like Town there" when I was SK I managed to be the large indicator of my new Mafia game, opportunistic, so it might be a subconscious thing.)
Anyway, in the past few days since Marko's reaction + talk with teammate I'm much more certain that my vote was right.

@Marko, Yeah votes are not technically locked but for all purposes should be treated that way. Scum should be viewed around every corner ready to hammer a mislynch.
Also you never answered why you unvote between 1.10 and 1.11.
Question for both of you...why are you alive in lylo?
It could be that I was wrong on something, I'm easy to manipulate, or that I seemed less Townie than every other kill made. The only person who knows for sure is the person who made those kills.

The question is not about theory but has players looking at overall gamestate to see a theory and check work. If whoever was town answered that in practice and mislynched me, I would be ok with that. It's a fail safe to apathy lol end.
Read through a bit of the game linked, as well as The Ditto where Marko was Caterpie. (May also be remembering a bit of Sports Mash)
Like, in both games they seem to feel more... aggressive? forceful? than you do here, but that's all I can really discern. In Sports Mash you seemed to be more of a force, like you did there. The aggressiveness comes out in your reaction my vote, but elsewhere you seem more lukewarm and somewhat apathetic in places.
Not sure if it could just be an effect of the two week phases or not.
Also: are you certain I'm scum? If so, why? Also if so, why not vote me (please don't actually do this if you're Town)?

This is what the votes tell me to do. I really don't like the deflection instead of self-critical analysis on his play. Instead, he looks like he is going to deflect and try to discredit thought processes.
Had a thought earlier to look into how Marko was talked about by Osie and Grape. Grape tended to put Marko in a dichtomy near the end, and had them as null. Osie and Wheat both had Marko as null (though Osie did up them to Townlean which I felt was a bit odd after displaying slight issue with him).
Anyway, this is my choice. Let's hope I'm smarter than I think I am.

Welcome to Monster Manual Mafia, MarkoRaj.
You are a Beholder (Mafia Watcher).
The beholder is the stuff of nightmares. This creature, also known as the “sphere of many eyes” or “eye tyrant,” is known among adventurers as a deadly adversary. A beholder is a 6-foot-wide orb dominated by a central eye and a large, toothy maw. Ten smaller eyes on stalks sprout from the top of the orb.
Beholders often attack without provocation. Though not powerful physically, they often plow right into groups of opponents to use as many of their eyes as they can. When closing with an enemy, a beholder tries to cause as much confusion and disruption as possible.

Welcome to Monster Manual Mafia, ScarletCelestial.
You are a Mimic (Town Vanilla).
Mimics are strange and deadly creatures that can change their pigmentation and shape. They use this ability to lure hapless victims close enough to slay.
It is said that mimics are not natural creatures but were created long ago by a now-forgotten wizard. Ever since, these terrible creatures have served as treasure guards.
A mimic often surprises the unsuspecting adventurer, lashing out with a heavy psuedopod. Mimics are smart enough to avoid fights to the death by extorting treasure or food from a party.
. You may be dangerous to a party of adventurers, but among your fellow monsters you have no weapons but your voice and your vote.
Welcome to Monster Manual Mafia, Scarlet Rage.
You are an Adult Bronze Dragon (Town Vanilla).
Bronze dragons are inquisitive and enjoy polymorphing into small, friendly animals to observe adventurers. They are fascinated by warfare, eagerly joining an army for a just cause -- and good pay.
A bronze wyrmling’s scales are yellow tinged with green, showing only a hint of bronze. As the dragon approaches adulthood, its color deepens slowly to a darker, rich bronze tone. Very old dragons develop a blue-black tint to the edges of their scales. Powerful swimmers, they have webbed feet and smooth, flat scales. Its pupils fade as a dragon ages, until in the oldest the eyes resemble glowing green orbs.
Bronze dragons like to be near deep fresh water or salt water. They often visit the depths to cool off or hunt for pearls and sunken treasure. They prefer caves that accessible only from their water, but their lair is always dry -- they do not lay eggs, sleep, or store treasure underwater. A smell of sea spray lingers about them. Bronze dragons eat aquatic plants and some varieties of seafood. They especially prize shark meat. They also dine on the occasional pearl.
Bronze dragons dislike killing animals and would rather bribe them (perhaps with food) or force them away magically. They use detect thoughts to learn intelligent creatures’ intentions. When attacking they blind their opponents with fog cloud and then charge or if flying, snatch them up. Against seafaring opponents they conjure up a storm or use their tails to smash the vessels’ hulls. If the dragon is inclined to be lenient, ships might be merely calmed, fogbound, or broken-masted.
