Again I reiterate, I have no clue where to be drawing conclusions from to make informative posts. I don't blame you guys, but I don't think this particular game worked out well for teaching beginners.
I think Bloodmoon should be lynched toDay. She does a lot of bandwagoning, no original pushes of her own, and the "I'm still firm that Torg is scum" read comes mostly out of nowhere and feels off given the wording implies she had the read for a while, but. She didn't.
So, I get your logic behind Bloodmoon being scum, but I think that the same logic could be applied to me in a better way. I've been shifty, have very few opinions, and rapidly changed my opinions on D_V and others. I hate to tunnel myself, but it just seems more logical to kill me rather than her.
Unless its because of my superhuman charisma, in which case you are entirely justified.

I don't have much time at the moment, so I'm going to go ahead and put out a vote now - I do agree with Vaimes that it's likely we've pinned down the scumteam at this point, and I'll defer to his expertise regarding who we should lynch first.
Vote: Bloodmoon0324
That said, I'm currently in the path of Hurricane Irma, and need to finish prepping for that - consider me as V/LA until at least the 12th. If I can get on sooner, I will, but don't expect it.
So, its been three day since Bluesy did his vote. This means that:
1) Bloodmoon is town and Blues is town. If she was town, then the 3 scum would have quickly voted for her and won.
2) Bloodmoon is scum and Blues is town.
3) Bloodmoon is town and Blues is scum.
or
4) Both are scum.
So we have a 50% or better shot of hitting scum if we lynch either Blues or Bloodmoon. Thoughts?

You are a claimed PR. She isn't.
She said she'd wait for everyone else to claim, but we're running out of time.
Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if we lose via No Lynch.
We need four votes, which means we need Ophidia, who is MIA. If Bloodmoon is scum, her buddies aren't going to vote for her because they can win by abstaining and hoping Ophidia doesn't show up.
Well, I'm back (to an extent - no power or internet at home yet, but I'm accessing this from work). And only two other people have even posted since I left...
@Wheat_Grinder: What's status on Mog (it's been 7 days now since he went V/LA), Juls (6 days since last post) and Ophidia (nothing since your prod)? Are they still considered to be active? And what's Bloodmoon's status? He hasn't posted since the prod notice either.
@King Torg: Trying to bring up the possibility of me being scum is an interesting play at this point. I'm not entirely certain how long it's been since I revealed myself as a one-shot cop, which nobody has disputed (despite having plenty of time for counterclaims if someone were to do so). But, whatever - lynching me would be a loss for town, but cast your vote where you will.
@Vaimes: We won't lose by no-lynch - remember, in the event that we don't reach a majority lynch, it defaults to whoever has the most votes to determine who gets lynched. So it's actually kind of the opposite scenario - the scum HAVE to show up and push a townie lynch, or they have to hope that we hit town instead of scum.
Also, is it just me, or is Torg's suggestion of voting themselves rather than Bloodmoon a bit suspect, given that we're at LyLo - if Torg is town, then lynching them guarantees a loss. Either it's very poor play by town!Torg, or it's scum!Torg trying to save scum!Bloodmoon.

Yeah. I agree that you're less likely to be scum than Bloodmoon is, but I'd rather not go: "Vote bloodmoon! lul" and have one more mafia member hammer in the win. It just seems like a better play right now to keep my options open.
I don't actually want to lynch myself (whether I'm town or scum it's bad for me). I just think its kind of weird that a few pages ago everyone thought I was scum and she was town (for justified reasons) and then at least 2 people entirely switched views for what I consider to be less good reasons.

I still think (based on his original entrance to the game) Vaimes has a good chance of being scum (but then again what do I know I'm still not sure how to properly evaluate statements).
Also, I'll be at SCG Louisville this weekend, I'll try to keep up
@King Torg: So you think I'm town, you think Vaimes is town, you mentioned that Bloodmoon is essentially conf!scum... bet you aren't willing to put your vote on Bloodmoon yet why, exactly?
@JulsSkogs: And who else do you think is scum? Also, could you provide a claim, as we are far enough into it that it is certainly warranted for everyone to provide their roles?
I think next time we definitely need a lot more "Veteran" players for two reasons.
A) They will help push content and keep the game going, while newer players might not understand the best way to make the game flow. Simply due to not having played forum mafia before.
B) They will be "Reliable" we had a lot of new players that simply were not reliable at all and needed to be replaced. After as many replacements as we had the game just stalled out. It was just too much.
Overall I think this game was a good lesson for us, and I'm not going to worry unless we implement ideas to combat problems and we still have this issue. For you guys that stuck it out I'm sorry this game could not have been that fun for you new guys it was just a bad game. Slightly disappointed since the town did come to the right decision in the end, and would have been neat to see if it did play out.
I specifically want to say to those new players that stuck it out:
1. Thank you, this game was difficult to stay engaged in.
2. I highly encourage you to give forum Mafia another shot, this game was well outside of the norm. There is a signup open, right now. If you want to see what a game can look like, there are some very good examples of active games, for some short ones, look for ones with the micro tag (they usually have some fun mechanic that changes things, but the base game is the same).
well, gg I guess. I played terribly, but it was my first game so whatever.
Speaking as a new player, I do think continuing to do these is a good plan, but doing it on a smaller scale and incorporating DV's suggestion would probably make them better and more accessible. I know that as a new player I was fine with the time commitment for the first month-ish, but then the commitment was slightly too large to be a productive townie. It looks like that was reflected in a lot of the other new players as well.
I'm sorry I lynched you DV, I was being dumb.

It was the post where you said you were ok with being lynched. I understand why you said it but it should have been explained to you why it was bad.

So you know you are town.
You know the game is in lylo which means one bad lynch and the mafia wins.
You should never propose/be ok with losing the game. I understand your sentiment, but I just want to clear up that from a mechanic stand point if you lynch yourself here you lose period.
Otherwise I thought you played fine. I got in a feedback loop with EL and Blue and had trouble expressing myself. Honestly I feel like I have some blame here since I felt that the me v. EL situation really scared away new players.

This game needs to be over, one way or the other. If Bloodmoon wants to chime in with anything interesting, that would be nice.

Fantastic.
We still technically run the risk of the scumteam throwing three votes on someone else at the last minute.
Due to the circumstances I am setting the deadline back to 9/21/17 at 7PM CST
I am also prodding everyone who hasn't posted in the last three days
Bloodmoon0324 - 2 (BluesEclipse, Vaimes) [L-2]
Not Voting - 5 (JulsSkogs, Ophidia, King Torg, Mograppler, Bloodmoon0324)
With 7 alive it is 4 to lynch!

But this one is much less bloodthirsty than Unscythe. It is Scythe, Savior of Kings!
He quickly slays Unscythe, and all problems suddenly resolve. Why the hell were you all fighting each other in the first place?
The game ends in a draw.
