Damn salvation threw up an error before my battery died I've lost my track, Tom throw me more questions so I can get back on. I'll get on GJ's wagon now.
If you are town, how will you change your play for the next game to avoid this happening again?
In a game of league, but his behavior has been really weird. I keep feel like he is going from good analysis to newb. Even the last post he put back on: "Ill get on GJ's wagon now" Was he really still considering hunt at this stage?
Damn I'd have to go back and pick up posts from all over the past 20 pages, this will take too long. Just take a look at that wagon after I'm dead would you?
smashing!

Yeah yeah Megs I know, how convenient he was in an awkward position when this trial started and when he had the chance to make a case it was too late. Just go and have fun with your amazing plan and I'll ram my head through a brick wall watching you all die while failing to catch scum until it's too late At least it'll make for interesting reading while I wait for a micro to get better at this "being town" stuff. How should I change to look more town while playing as town Tom? I'll have to go back over Prisoner's and reread from your perspective. I thought trying to suggest that there may be scum jury abilities was similar to my engagement with the mechanics of that micro. But people took in the wrong way here in comparison -.- I don't get it
I do not know how to phrase this without giving it away...
Were you thinking about how townie you appear as you made the posts?
@GJ
What do you want to talk about?
All you have done with my questions is dismissed them.
I feel you are also playing chicken with your life. Were you not upset at Sir Chris for that?
It's his first game. I don't know what he's likely to do period.
New players town and scum go for this sort of emotional play all the time because they don't know the ins and outs of mafia logic. Emotion is something that everybody knows.

I have dismissed nothing. I'll answer a point you didn't ask though
if this is what we're doing, we can sure as **** do it better than dividing the playerlist in thirds.
The reason you split it into thirds is so you can tell who didn't move. Let say players A, B, and C are potential jurors, while A/B get 7 votes each, player C gets the remaining 3. Everyone tells the truth, how do you know who deviated? If it was 2 from A and B, A and B will still be correct. If it was from C, it will still be correct. You have no idea which group deviated.
With a 6, 5, 5 split, if B or C doesn't make it, you know there are at least two scum in either group. If A doesn't make it, you get three from that group.

@matowar my colleague is quite convinced you are lying about self censoring your posts for towniness. that is a thing i was sure of in prisoners, and admitting to it would have made me go the other way.
burned myself out this Day.
im gonna give so few *****s Tomorrow. just vote for 3 people and take potshots at them all day.
try not to run me up for it.
true. i definitely care more about being right than winning.
if you had flipped on me and given the win to huntz in prisoners, i still would have counted it a win.
Arguments flew, fingers were pointed, objections were objected, and now, after 2 days, a decision was reached. The judge softly yet firmly stroked his fine, Canadian whiskers, indulging in the rich smell of maple syrup his ample beard gave off. It was time to announce the verdict.
“May the defendants please rise.” Kind of an antiquated term, since defendant chairs had been abolished for several years before, and there was nothing really left to rise from. Still, Matowar77, Huntzilla, and Gentlemen Johnny shuffled onto the scene, escorted by three accompanying bailiffs.
“This trial has reached it’s conclusion. It is the decision of the jury that the man who will be judged is none other than: Matowar77, better known known as the assassin Shelley De Killer.”
The sound of gasps echoed through the court audience. Most of them had come here for the juicy drama, and their wishes had more than been granted.
“You must be mistaken, my friends.” Spoke Matowar. “I am.... just a simple ice cream salesman. I have never even thought of killing a single soul. My only thoughts are of producing the freshest and sweetest creamy treats.” Matowar's pleas were met by deaf ears.
“This is not the time that you are to speak.” Chided Megiddo. “That time has came and went. The only thing left for you to do — is face justice for your crimes!”
"Indeed.” Interjected the judge. “Your guilt has already been determined by this court. The hammer of justice has fallen, and it has fallen upon you. Members of the jury: it's now time to cast your votes.”
One by one, the Jurors made their decisions.

With this, Matowar’s demeanor began to change. A dark aura of rage surrounded his being.

I suggest you pick up a couple lessons from a simple, hardworking ice cream salesman as myself. You have made a mockery of yourselves, of me, and of the very rules that hold society together. And with that, Matowar was taken away to incarceration. He was:

SHELLEY DE KILLER - Matowar77
*********************************************************
Name: Shelly de Killer Age: ??? Gender: Male Hair Color: Black Eye Color: Hidden at all times by a monocle Occupation: Assassin
Normally, you wouldn't be interested in these sort of cases. You prefer to stay in the shadows, only stepping in if you're personally involved in the client or outcome. This incident concerning the Tarot Killer has interested you, though, since you've met him (her?) a year ago.
You received a private tweet on your publicly available Twitter account (@iAssassinate) for a personal assassination inquiry. You responded back, saying that you would like to meet face-to-face with your client. Clients have been running dry for a couple of months, so it's good to get some interest.
This particular client acted strangely. He (or she?) directed you to an encrypted e-mail service and told you to sign up for it, even though you're totally fine just using a public email client. The client then emailed you a meeting location: Somewhere at one of the benches at a park in Tokyo Los Angeles. The client said to wait there at a designated time, and that he (or she) would meet wearing a donkey mask.
The donkey mask thing kind of disturbed you a bit, but seeing as it was a face-to-face meeting, you agreed. You took out one of your knives and a smoke bomb, just in case danger presented itself.
You arrived at the designated time and sat down at the bench. Almost immediately after you sat down, a figure - you don't know who - sat on the opposite side of the bench, and immediately said: "Don't get excited and turn around. You will make headlines tomorrow if you get the tiniest glimpse of my face," the person said. The person was using a voice changer and was wearing a donkey mask, so you couldn't figure out the gender or any identity of this person. And you realized that your were lured into a trap - the park was a clear area, so it would be very difficult to escape using your smoke bomb - in fact, it would be likely to attract more attention.
"If you wish to escape this area, then you must kill [REDACTED]," the voice said. After a pause, the voice added: "Instead of your calling card, put this on the body." A single card then drops onto your lap.
"You will be contacted with further instructions once you have dispatched our target," the voice said. Then - gone. You feel the presence of a person vanish.
You then look back on the bench. No one there. You do know two things, though: One, this person hasn't contacted you in over a year. Second - this person has severely betrayed your trust by blackmailing you and luring you to a public park, while communicating in a way that has made it impossible to detect whom that person is. So, when news surfaced of the Tarot Killer, you believe that there might be some connection..

“Man, that was some show.” The guard spoke to Shelley. “Really, I was right on the edge of my seat the whole time! And when the jurors all got up to vote ‘guilty’… I almost fell off!” He grinned from ear to ear. “Although, I don’t know why you stuck to such a ridiculous story. I mean, you’re obviously not a…”
The reason the guard stopped mid sentence was that he had just been stabbed in the gut. He grasped the knife with a look of pure disbelief on his face. How what this even possible?
Shelley retrieved the blade in a single forceful motion. “You will not die from a wound in that area.” He casually explained as he wiped away the blood from his knife. “However, you will bleed out in 45 minutes. I expect help will arrive in 15, so you should be fine in that regard. That’s something you should know about me—I don’t kill people who don’t deserve it.” The guard's eyes widened, and he let out a scream of pain. “The next half hour will be very painful for you. But I guess it’s a small price to pay for your life. Anyways, goodbye.”
Shelley paused as he exited the doorframe, and turned back towards the guard. “Before I depart, there is one more thing you should know about me...
“I’m not just a simple ice cream salesman."

Investigation 3: A Cruel Angel's Turnabout
(or: Bad Karma)
As Phoenix turned on the television as usual every morning, he saw something that he did not expect to hear, nor did he want to hear.
"Well, folks, it seems like the Tarot Killer is on the loose again," the TV reporter said. "This time, it seems like they've infiltrated the home of an influential prosecutor's family. The von Karma family immigrated from Germany to do prosecutorial work in Tokyo Los Angeles, but they were also very important to the Tarot Killer investigation. It seems, however, that the Tarot Killer lately has been targeting people related to the case, at an alarming pace. The Tarot Killer is still at large."
The news shifted to a reporter on the scene. "Now, for an exclusive look inside the von Karma mansion: It seems like the "King of Prosecutors", Manfred von Karma, was poisoned to death. Police reports indicate that he was sipping on his midnight tea right before he went to bed, and that tea had a load of atroquinine poisoning in it. For some strange reason, there was no tarot card on Manfred's body that night."

As the senior prosecutor in Tokyo Los Angeles, you’ve racked up an unprecedented streak of not losing a single case in 40 years on the job. In that time you’ve met your fair share of pathetic rookie defense attorneys, and crushed each and every single one of them under your boot. Not that you care, they were merely obstacles in the way of your pursuit of perfection.
With criminals lurking behind every corner, you’ll need every resource in order to use the perfect proof and the perfect reasoning to make another perfect case. Due to being a prosecutor of (rightfully) high status, you have unparalleled access to the Records Room, and can browse through the actions of others at your leisure. Of course, should any rookie prosecutors attempt to sneak in, you’ll definitely give them a piece of your mind. And by mind, you mean your taser.
Welcome to Ace Attorney Mafia, tomsloger! You are a Town Vote Tracker. You have the following special abilities:

2. Each Night, you may PM me the name of another player you want to vote for as a jury member.
Active Abilities: Records Room: Each Night, you may target a player. You will learn how many jury votes that player received at the start of the next Investigation phase.
Win Condition: Eliminate all threats.
It seems like his daughter, Franziska von Karma, died from multiple gunshot wounds in the back. There was a card taped to the back of her body:

FRANZISKA VON KARMA - TappingStones

You were once a prosecutor to that foolish fool Phoenix Wright, but you've since stopped doing so ever since Phoenix Wright got disbarred in court for presenting illegal evidence. Instead, you've climbed even higher in the ranks and became an international prosecutor aiding Interpol.
One of your first jobs with Interpol was investigating an international smuggling ring, but you found out that there was a murder in your temporary hometown of Tokyo Los Angeles. You then came across some papers indicating a link between the smuggling ring and these "Tarot Killer" murders. Time to fly back to Tokyo Los Angeles - you hope that you can crack the two mysteries between this new rogue killer and the smuggling ring.
Welcome to Ace Attorney Mafia, TappingStones! You are a Town Two-shot Denier. You have the following special abilities:

Active Abilities: Fooishly Foolish Fool! (two-shot): Each Night, you may target a player. You will whip that player into submission preventing them from being elected to the jury for the next Case. (Any jury votes that player receives will be invalidated).
Win Condition: Eliminate all threats.
The police have indicated to us that they've put their best men on the squad in order to bring this "Tarot Killer" to justice, but with the recent abdication of Gant as the chief of police, they are struggling to find new leadership. We encourage everyone to keep their doors shut at night and to stay out of isolated areas." As Phoenix was driving to the von Karma mansion, he had the radio turned on. Yet more news relevant to the case appeared.
Question 1: Do you believe there is at least two scum (one if matowar flips scum) of Rhand/Vaimes/Seppel?
No
Question 2: Do you think me or Sir Chris are more likely going to act differently than a previous scum game?
Yes
It is now Investigation 3. With 11 on the case, it takes 6 votes to arrest someone.
The deadline is in twelve days, on Tuesday, May 3rd.
Seppel, CitricBase, and Anaklusmos have been nominated to be on the jury. They may not post in the thread until Trial 3 begins.
I killed Tomslogger. I believe Vaimes is the one who gave me that ability.
I almost killed SC, but decided to double down on the GJ/SC group. I'm going to claim I am right on that and that obv I was wrong on the other part.
Annoyed that TS was our blocker as town, and that assumptions I made were then wrong because of that.
This leads me to believe the Iso, Dota blocks. And to sort of clear them as town.
My current scum team involves Ghosting, Megs and possibly critic base and seppel.
To note as well. Why have we cleared Anak? While I agree that his claim was pro-town ish, he has been on EVERY wagon that went to Trial.
If anyone has any questions of me now is the time I'll wait about 24 hours before I channel Wheat Grinder since I kept him.
Your role MIGHT not have been as much of an overlap with Mato's if he'd claimed it correctly(from the way I understood his claim, he had a vig shot, which that could become unpreventable if he were ever on the jury). But his role was actually just Vanilla with a 1 Shot Unpreventable Vig unlock.
But honestly, between his behavior and such, we probably would have just taken that as a scum claim and pushed him to Trial either way. I will say that, during the Trial, I felt that Mato came across WAY better than GJ did, and really hoped that it would be GJ that ended up getting lynched. :/
But now we see the presentation of his questions, and the Mod was helpful enough to provide flavor to make it look like a Journalist even. So I'm just second guessing myself here now, which is pretty frustrating.
As for Anak..all of his posts just come across super townie. I don't even remember his claim.
Here's hoping WG has some useful info for us.
I don't know whether or not the scum are really trying to WIFOM us 2 days straight with their Jury tampering. At the same time, I don't think that they would be brazen enough to put one of their teammates on the Jury 2 days in a row, either. I feel like exactly one of Seppel/Megiddo is probably scum.
It's probably Seppel? Like..I'm basically positive that we would be putting him on Trial today if he weren't suddenly on the Jury. And the way he voted GJ reminds me of how he acted the last time he was scum a game I was in(Wu Tang or Archer or something..the one where he used Juliet for awhile at first).
ugh, no, I was looking forward to being reunited with tom
And yeah, I gave DV the vigshot, nobody is surprised (also why I didn't know whether or not my role and Mato's would be a weird overlap).
I voted for CitricBase for Jury, since. I thought a lot of people would pool their votes into Anak again.
I'm really annoyed with Tom this game.
His case was really bad, and he kept pushing these weak cases. And the Mato lynch actually made it over the top to me.
....then why didn't you shoot me in the face?
Because I decided to double down on you and chris? Like, believe you guys are town. I'm all in babby, I should never have doubted myself I found myself doubting my mato arguments because of Tom and then was proven right on that so, I'm sticking to my guns, if you or SC is scum you've played well imo. I'd have shot SC if I was going that route not you anyways though.
The only reason, I'm not sold on Seppel is because he came the conclusion that the Mafia have a jury "Manipulator" first, and then was echoed by others. I think the mafia may or may not have that role.
I agree with the mato argument, he did present his role as an immediate use and now it makes sense, because he had to kill one player so he would just kill who ever that was. I wish his claim would have been more clear though.
I have a question for Ghosting.
Ghosting what did it say when you voted for wheat even though he was dead?
The only reason, I'm not sold on Seppel is because he came the conclusion that the Mafia have a jury "Manipulator" first, and then was echoed by others. I think the mafia may or may not have that role.
To elaborate, I don't think a mafia member would come to this statement anymore. I thought yesterday the mafia were trying to fake a role, because they had too many power roles by my count, but this makes more sense.
Actually the more I think about it I think either Iso or Dota is lying. I can't put my finger on why though.
Did ANYONE get blocked tonight? I clearly did not I got off a kill.
Ghosting what did it say when you voted for wheat even though he was dead?
I can answer that one, I wanted to ensure Anak made it onto the jury, so I forced your vote to mirror mine.
Damn cause that would have gone into a ghosting wagon had that been true.
=/
Ghosting wagon? Can you explain this?
I'm like 90% certain ghosting's scum based on reads that I have, voting habits and other such things. I also think he's lying about his W_G vote. So I thought the message I got involved me voting a dead person not because of an ability. I should have checked though.
So, you can force one player to vote with you?
Uhhh and we have a vote blocker on the town... Uhhhh this doesn't seem very townie to me.
I'd vote you right now, but I'm just getting info out here, I'll hand that stuff over to wheat today.
This is my most important question.
That only works on seppel.
Were you thinking about how townie you appear as you made the posts?
When you type something, do you reread before submitting?
How often do you edit a post?

Police reports indicate that he was sipping on his midnight tea right before he went to bed, and that tea had a load of atroquinine poisoning in it. For some strange reason, there was no tarot card on Manfred's body that night."

As the senior prosecutor in
TokyoLos Angeles, you’ve racked up an unprecedented streak of not losing a single case in 40 years on the job.

The police have indicated to us that they've put their best men on the squad in order to bring this "Tarot Killer" to justice, but with the recent abdication of Gant as the chief of police, they are struggling to find new leadership. We encourage everyone to keep their doors shut at night and to stay out of isolated areas."
As Phoenix was driving to the von Karma mansion, he had the radio turned on. Yet more news relevant to the case appeared.
The GJ way path to no lynching:
To elaborate, I don't think a mafia member would come to this statement anymore. I thought yesterday the mafia were trying to fake a role, because they had too many power roles by my count, but this makes more sense.
Actually the more I think about it I think either Iso or Dota is lying. I can't put my finger on why though.
Did ANYONE get blocked tonight? I clearly did not I got off a kill.
Damn cause that would have gone into a ghosting wagon had that been true.
=/
I'm like 90% certain ghosting's scum based on reads that I have, voting habits and other such things. I also think he's lying about his W_G vote. So I thought the message I got involved me voting a dead person not because of an ability. I should have checked though.
So, you can force one player to vote with you?
Uhhh and we have a vote blocker on the town... Uhhhh this doesn't seem very townie to me.
I'd vote you right now, but I'm just getting info out here, I'll hand that stuff over to wheat today.
