"The Watch employs a variety of defenses in order to defend The Wall. The top of the Wall is dug out in a trench-like manner to give protection from the weather. Several outlets and wooden pillboxes give archers a way to fire on enemies below. A special pulley system allows archers to hang over the edge of the Wall to fire on enemies attempting to climb it. Other defenses include ramps for barrels of burning oil, or barrels filled with ice and stone, to drop on attackers. The Watch also have ballistae and catapults strong enough to kill giants. Perhaps the most impressive, and frighteningly effective, defense mechanism is the 'scythe,' a massive metal anchor attached to the end of a huge chain. When released, the scythe will run along the Wall at a tremendous speed, brutally maiming anyone within it's swinging arc."
None of which defend against foes already in the trenches.

Vote Seppel
This is not a town approach,
and if it is than @Iso, I think this is where it is okay to vote others for playstyle/theory differences.
Surely you understand by now that there's a method to my madness and that I never "wildly assert" anything.
Cyan's only ever a target of mine if I think he's scum, which is rarely.
Do you believe that:
Arrogance is a town trait?
That I am only arrogant as town?
There is nothing other than my arrogance that makes me town at this juncture?
There is usually a method to your madness. But again, I have only seen it once myself. I would hypothesis you would do the same things you do as town as scum. So your method could be turned around on the town.
But that all said, I think arrogance is a Town!Iso trait.
I don't think you would necessarily be arrogant only as town, but this is a little bit WIFOM.
I would say that you seem to be actively scumhunting, and involved in the game, which I think are good town leans for me.
Disagreeing on Mafia theory seems like a solid vote to me, especially if the theory is particularly divisive. But I can fully understand you not agreeing with me!
Given that Mafia Theory stances are largely playstyle/personal experience-based, why does a disagreement on such seem like a valid reason to vote, to you?
It is certain occasions, and a way to point out to the town that you do not trust the persons judgement, as the disagreement could have nefarious purposes.
You are really starting to dig yourself a hole here. I explained the FoS/vote to you very clearly. Do you understand the situation at this point?
This post in general is pretty awful. Especially the last three sentences. Can you explain what the purpose of asserting things as such was, exactly?
Frustration was setting in and I was not liking the insistence of KCC that I was scummy for an adverb. Plus at the time I felt she(?) was beginning to misrep the situation.
Looking back at it now, I feel it is all pretty null and a useless fight that highlights nothing important, aside from a little grammar fight.
He is approaching the game from a black and white sense, and I don't like that much. More later when I have time to break stuff down.

Well instead of being like "this is weird" or "I think this is a scummy way" you phrase it like "this is not a town approach" when in reality town has a million different ways to look at the game, all colors of the grey rainbow as it were, and yet you single out seppel's posts as "not a town approach." Weird, stilted phrasing that I don't like.

Okay.
I can understand that.
Obviously I do feel that Seppel is scummy. Hence the vote. This is not one of those "FoS/Votes for pressure" that we talked about before. But I can see where the semantics get in the way.
I hope Killjoy found his way home from lunch. I'm still waiting for him to acknowledge the vote I put on him, the question he ignored, the subsequent post he ignored about him ignoring it, and well, frankly, anything at this point.
This Seppel wagon seems misguided to me. Compared to his last couple of scum games, he looks much more like his town-self here. Maybe he just actually cares about this game, moreso than the past ones, for some unknown reason?
This is far more reasonable logic than what Iso is currently using in retort.
No, because it completely ignores reality and substitutes Seppel's twisting of my words for that. Please explain to me how Seppel thinking I'm scum, ergo wanting to lynch me, ergo voting me but pointedly removing the part of my post that he is allegedly voting me for is conducive to the mindset of Seppel thinking I'm scum? Because I shouldn't have to point out to townSeppel that, hey, you kind of made it a point NOT to show everyone what you were voting me for despite it being in a post of mine you quoted, so how do you expect me to reasonably believe that you actually believe I am scum?
Are you planning on contributing any content to the game any time soon, or should I just ignore you until you do?
This is the line I'm voting Iso for.
He's diminishing me; why else would he want to ignore me? Ignoring me implies I'm town, because why would you ignore scum?
I think that line was said too preemptively, and with inside knowledge.
And yet you think my vote is completely warranted.
More votes on Seppel, please.
Your vote is warranted because I'm being a complete tard. That has nothing to do with you being scum, though.
So my vote is warranted, which I presume means you think it's correct in this context. I called you out for lack of content, you continued to behave like scumSeppel, and I voted you for it. So does that mean I'm just scum playing really well? If so, how do you justify thinking you caught me on something that isn't at all out of the norm for me to do, that being ignoring players playing obnoxiously until they start to provide something of value? I mean, you're acting like you've never seen me do this before, which is completely dishonest of you, and yet another reason you're scum - but on top of that, until you started to provide something with which I could hang you, there was absolutely no point in reading your posts. None whatsoever. Your argument is fallacious, dishonest, and poor play at best.

I'm not trying to dissuade you because the day is still early and there is much info to be gained.
In general I am a cautious player who doesn't like to speak in absolutes. I posted how I currently feel but I am examining the situation closely. I don't think there is harm in votes being on seppal or huntzilla until the point they are actually likely to be lynched, and so I don't NEED to start dissuading you until we approach that point. Pressure is good as long as the person applying pressure knows what they are doing.
I am more concerned that the three people who have gotten the most heat (seppai, hunt, and I) seem to be three of the people who have posted he most. That should be a red flag.
I'm going through some personal stuff, so, I'm sorry if my head isn't quite in the game right now, but I'm not V/LA or anything. I'll be reading and focusing as much as I can.

kcc you made a good catch, but what is your take on hunt's reaction?
particularly his exit from the conversation?
Do you mean the disengaging without ever addressing the actual issue? Or the yet another attempt at downplaying by referring to it all as just a little grammar fight over an adverb, when the issue was the mindset behind it?
-Either way, my take is that it didn't magically change his alignment to town.
You might be picking up on my skepticism there towards your motivation for posing that question in a manner that implies hunt's reaction was somehow townish.
