Maybe I missed this in your last list of reads, but why am I so high as town?
I do like this T/S a fair amount. I'd put Seppel and Proph a little higher. Proph's been V/LA, and his activity before then had me leaning town.
Proph had like, 1 post before then? You're high up because of the tone of your posts. They read as too unfiltered to me to be coming from scum.
Re: Proph - Having just been mentored by him, I feel like I have some insight into his early game methodology, which includes tunneling someone even when you don't think they're scum to gauge others' reactions. I have a feeling that's what he was doing with his vote on me after our first interactions. I could be wrong though.
I can buy your read on me. I just get kind of suspicious of people who repeatedly call me out for doing scummy things but then put me in their town piles, after I had scum!Generic do it to me two games in a row. Not that you've called me out much, but several people have, so it seemed a little incongruous that I was that high.
This game has been going on for 10 days and I've just posted all of Natirasha's content. I can even TL;DR it if necessary:
1. Natirasha doesn't like Wildfire, mourns Megs's 6 vit.
2. Natirasha explains lack of content with lack of vote.
3. Natirasha calls Wildfire not-town. Wildfire inquires about Seppel, Natirasha pulls some bull***** then doesn't even jump on Wildfire's awful reply. I was just talking about how a scum wants attention to go away, and this is a great example of a conversation that shouldn't have died.
4. Lurk lurk lurk.

I'm already voting Natirasha, and you should too.
I'll throw my vote this way if the wagon takes off, but I'd really rather lynch Killjoy or AI.

In Deus Ex, it blew up in your face because you missed something in the thread. In Castlevania, I think it's because you were dealing with a different set of players who weren't experienced with our site culture of hunting RVS-tells (if Castlevania was all MTGS-players, I think the tell would have flown better).
Megiddo/Wildfire unaligned pairs.

Can you please expound upon this in more detail? I can't see how a simple response of "megs is my stakepost this game" would make you warm up to me.

Scum team is Prophylaxis, AsianInvasion, HookerPunch, killjoy, and Wildfire.
Why are you voting /with/ the person you call scum?
Can you clarify your read on me, and on Wildfire?
Wildfire's #203 and #215 is pure IIoA.

@Proph - What do you think about Meg and why (I have an opinion but I'm very interested in yours)?
I am hoping that Meg is town, but I need to sort him out later on in the game since he's difficult to read. I liked his defense post.
I don't understand why there is pressure on Sir Chris - he's one of my stronger townreads right now, mostly because I see elements of his play in my own - he's very transparent and open about every stance he takes.

Wildfire is probably town. Too many questionable people were piled on him at one point. Won't be sure until I untangle abovementioned cluster a bit, though.
Which questionable people?
(nath'd by Seppel in my read, which /never happens/)
@EtR: IIRC, you asked two people questions at the beginning of the game. Why haven't you followed up on those questions?

Prophylaxis: What is my alignment and why? Who is your top scumread and why? I currently am leaning scum on you because you went V/LA for longer than you said you were going to; any reaction to that?
I hope you are town, but I need to see how things pan out before I solidify a read on you.
My top scumread is Wildfire.
You know my V/LA situation.
I don't care about locations.
I have no idea why LnG is just poking at people to deliver content.
I hate Wildfire's #476 - it's a summary of a /mechanics/ post, and he slings mud at Megiddo.

Still agree with this about AI and also think Proph is likely, want him to return and see how he responds to the outstanding questions to him and how he acts moving forward.
What changed between "I've warmed to you" and this? It seems extremely strange to me given that I don't think I posted during that period.

Sir Chris 8/10 - Very transparent, open, genuine responses.
Arianrhod 8/10 - I caught him on his first couple of posts in Winterfell. I'm seeing a more reserved, engaged, town!Arian here. @Arian: Why didn't you vote for Obama this game?
Megiddo 4/10 - I hope you're town. I'm not comfortable sorting you out until flips happen, however.
hansanator 2/10 - I liked his rebuttal against Seppel, but other than that I can't remember his posts.
Cythare 0/10 - I can never read Cythare, and he's been null in basically all games I've played with him. I don't remember a single meaningful thing he's done this game.
Rhand 0/10 - Pressured Megiddo, then faded into obscurity.
HookerPunch 0/10 - I don't understand why this guy is getting pressured and I'm never lynching him D1 after Winterfell. Please explain how he differs from his usual one liners.
Iso 0/10 - After soaking up knowledge from Tar and Voxx for the better part of a year, I think I can read Iso, but it takes so much time and energy I'm not willing to go through it, at least not early.
Sir Karn 0/10 - Sir Karn is impossible to read.
kpaca 0/10 - I'll be keeping my QT post of "how to read kpaca" in the back of my head if/when he posts content.
rezombied 0/10 - Nothing.
desCoures 0/10 - None of his posts have made any impact on me. Might see how Iso reads him based on him relentlessly defending dC in CT3.
DCIII 0/10 - I want him to respond to my questions.
Niv 0/10 - Nothing.
EtR 2/10 - Can't remember a single thing he's done this game, and asked questions with no follow up.
killjoy 3/10 - He's been acting very differently from what I know of him, namely endless bad wall posts and tons of posts. I remember I townread him based off of his posting rate.
AsianInvasion 3/10 - I want him to respond to my questions. The only thing that gives me pause on AI was that I was burned by him in Majora's Mask.
Seppel 4/10 - Seppel is actually playing the game, which makes me worried.
LnGrrrR 8/10 - I hate all of his posts. He's randomly parking votes on people and has a hatred for lurkers which I don't really expect from LnG. I advocate that he be run up some point during D1 because [REDACTED].
Wildfire 10/10 - Terrible responses, IIoA, Garcia'ing, the whole nine yards. Let's lynch him.

I don't understand where the hell anything you're doing comes from - you're like hansanator, but not as extreme in that regard. Usually, there's a plan, intent, calculating behind scum posts. I am going to take a stab at self-meta and say this is because I usually play 48 hour days and am very used to making a lot of compact arguments and posting intensely over a few hour span. I gathered from my last game that my usual pace would be worse than overkill so I have just been casually reading through so I don't burn out. Game days (48 hours keep in mind) usually have about this many posts in it as this game does already. Very different environment.
Days are so long here I just like to go exploring and see what I find.

I am naturally paranoid of people who defend me, first off. I don't know if I should be so wary here, but the old logic was that it was best to agree with me rather than have to argue with me. On the other hand to Proph's benefit he says exactly what I am doing. Like I am plainly attempting to state my case every time at the moment, so it is at least an accurate way of looking at it. On the other hand I do not like post 676. "Hey man, we both think this guy is scum. So I am not scum' it is just a poorly reasoned argument that Iso is correct in tearing apart. Scum in fact bussed a lot in Castlevania mafia and all prior experience tells me they can do it here. For someone who took such great care in labeling everything, giving a nice big picture, the fact that he thinks that makes a good argument is just poor. Also He made his list seem bigger by having a majority of the game under 0/10. ... Actually that's just bull now that I think about it. He literally is claiming to have no read on all of those people. Like if you have that many 0/10 just don't include them or something. I hate that post so much right now. If Proph turns out to be scum I bet there is more than 1 scumbuddy under these mysterious 'can't read lol.'
Like if you're going to make a big list of what you think it'd be nice if you actually thought all the way through instead of half-baked it.
But uh, thanks for seeing I am town. Appreciated!

Oh, one thing though: Him going double down on Wildfire (Saying he hates them, and then pulling the 'we can't be buddies') card is absurdly risky day one. It is like pushing all of your chips in the middle if they are in fact buddies, so as contradictory as this sounds I think THAT is an interesting reason to not think they are buddies. But Proph is not likely to enjoy which one I am choosing for town at the moment.

I've gotten a lot of mixed signals from Wildfire, Sir Karn, and Ln. I don't remember anything relevant from rezombied and Niv.
With Proph's return, he continues to show me that he is scum.
@Iso: give reads your list starting from most-want and we'll see what we can work out.
I do feel like this game could use a lynch right about now for info sake so we can stop during here yerking it and going in circles. We have at least 2 generally agreed upon scum found, so how abouts we lynch one.
Seppel thinks I'm scum because lurking is apperently a scumtell? Even though it's not on purpose? Ok then.
Iso still think I'm scum for convoluted reasons.
I'm doing the best I can here. I can't really concentrate though, as I've been missing sleep.
Working on my reread also as mich as I can.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
I'm torn on Proph now actually.
It sounds like he legitimately believes his case on me. I had assumed he was just doing his tunneling thing.
When I assumed he was tunneling, it made sense in his town mindset.
On the other hand, if he's scum he knows my alignment, and I don't know if he'd be so blazingly gung-ho to push my mislynch, especially when a number of the people who were originally on me have left.
Or maybe he thinks I won't get lynched now, but assumes there will always be a lingering doubt, so he can grab scumhunting points and nurture that seed into a potential mislynch down the road.

This^.
I will note, though, that we should wait for Zinda's confirmation that we're locked to move to Ruchperion before we get a wagon going in earnest.
@DCIII: Put your vote somewhere useful. Seppel isn't scum. I was correct in reading scum Seppel like one month ago or something and this game is nothing like that game. In that game, he posted in a similar manner, but everything just oozed that feeling of scumminess that was hard to explain but was certainly there. This game has none of that.
I think you're wrong. In his response to my case he mentions that his only scum tell he knows of people saying is that he reads the game as scum. A few posts before that he either directly or indirectly involve his not having read the game. I don't think that's a coincidence.
I find it very hard to believe both that he didn't notice my vote on him and that he forgot about his read on Hooker.
And I think his effort level has increased now.
I have a gut that says it all means he's scum - understanding that this has no chance at traction right now but want to draw attention to it because I feel strongly about it.
@Meg - My activity level in this game recently is because I've been moving and also I had just replaced in to CT3 in which I had to catch up reading 50 pages and the game was in mylo which required much more of my involvement - so almost all of my focus and mafia time was going there and there are other places you can verify that if you want to. I over-extended myself to play in that game. Your observation was right, your implied conclusion isn't (and I don't agree with your premise, either, but we can discuss that post-game).
@Proph - what I know about you is that you don't like playing scum because you have trouble faking scum hunting and you don't often find it easy to move fluidly within the game as scum.
What I liked better about you in that quote was that your flat "you're wrong" response to me felt like when you were pushing back in Deus Ex and that your reasoning for thinking Wildfire was different from his previous games at that point was good. I was still wary of your attempt to call Meg out for doing to you what he thought you were doing to him in Winterfell, though.
Meg's read of you going on v/la for your travel made me look at those posts again because he knows you well and didn't think it was legit, so looking at your posts again, your focus in the game was almost entirely on Wildfire and then left. It gave me the same feel as when you replaced into Xymande with us, layed out your angle, and then mostly disappeared from discussion. Same thing with Dinosaurs where you came in, took your angle (which included busing Shockwave, which is going to make me reconsider Wildfire if you are scum), and then mostly disappeared. I read the scum chat in that game and you pre-wrote the post you were going to lead the day with and posted it in there for Karn to review. It was very methodical. Then, as that day progressed and you were asked to engage more, you basically reiterated that same post in slightly different words. There's a rigidity and inflexibility to your scum play - and your return post feels a lot like that - very planned out and carefully crafted. The reason I told Karn that I wanted to see more from you is because I feel like it will become clear one way or another now that you're back from your v/la if you are scum by how well you adapt to the game as it progresses as you're good and comfortable at that as town.
Also - I asked you about your read on Meg because I think Meg is town and I wanted to see how you'd respond based on your earlier comment about him not responding to you. The three of us chatted once and your opinion of him was, to paraphrase, that he gets starry-eyed in big games - and one thing I think we both know about Meg is that he cares a lot despite sometimes presenting as flip. I thought that his comment about how many players play a short-quippy style and that's why he's playing different rang very true to the way his mind works and there was also a line he gave I think to AI when he was being called out on being a distraction for his posting where he apologized and said he'd slow it down a bit if he was being a distraction - which I thought was a good glimpse into where his mindset was, that he cares about this game and doesn't want to be a distraction. If he was scum, I don't think he'd have responded like that, I think he'd have had more of a caustic or sarcastic front up to that.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
@Iso - what are your thoughts on my Seppel read?
I am on board with your plan if it's AI today. Think Proph is likely, think Wildfire is more likely if Proph is scum but am least sold on him, think HP is likely mostly via my read on Seppel.... So that's where I am right now. Seppel/AI, Proph are my strongest reads independent of flips.
Intent matters. You can disagree with me but you have no basis to discount my read.
How does Sir Chris's intent make him town?
I'm having trouble understanding your thought process, here.

You are wrong, and trying to see things that aren't there.
Approach things from my mindset.
My focus on the game was entirely on Wildfire before I went V/LA because I'm generally a Day 1 bulldog - I find something I don't like, I clamp down, and shake it around until it's dead. This is more predicated based on this being a large game. When I got back yesterday, I read the entire game in one sitting, and thus my catch-up post is more stream-of-consciousness. I then made the pseudo t/s list because I have trouble keeping track of all the players in a game this large and because I want to immediately begin the task of PoEing the gamestate down, which is what worked for me in Social Engineering.
@DCIII: Pretend if I was randomly confirmed town. Who is scum in that scenario? Work from there.
I'm fine with lynching right now, but we still have a quarter of people either on V/LA or just not participating (Niv, dC, killjoy, off the top of my head). I would like to hear from those people before we do anything.
I am comfortable lynching anyone in my scum pile with the exception of AI until I can get a better read on him. Majora's Mask really burned me hard in my evaluation on him, so I'm trying to get insight into his mindset.
My preferred lynches are LnG and Wildfire. I will probably case Wildfire sometime soon.
@AI: What have I done to give you a leaning town read on me?
@Karn: I've listed my scum reads in descending order like 3 times in the last few pages, bro. Don't make me repeat myself again - Megiddo already used my "get 1 repeat free" card.

I am comfortable lynching anyone in my scum pile with the exception of AI until I can get a better read on him. Majora's Mask really burned me hard in my evaluation on him, so I'm trying to get insight into his mindset.
The reason you want to lynch me sucks.
Karn usually pegs you as town or scum very fast. This time he isn't. What do you think of that?
I am on board with your plan if it's AI today. Think Proph is likely, think Wildfire is more likely if Proph is scum but am least sold on him, think HP is likely mostly via my read on Seppel.... So that's where I am right now. Seppel/AI, Proph are my strongest reads independent of flips.

DC3 what the hell.
I responded to your read and instead of engaging me about it, you ignore it and look to someone else for opinions.
I think you approach me the same was as you approach DRey, much to my chagrin (You detract my play/think I'm scum as town, you don't address me/think I'm town as scum).
I'm wary that you're /actually playing the game/, since that's pretty much the hallmark of your scum game. I'm more used to a town!Seppel who just derps around unless the rest of the town is derping around with him.

He's pegging me as scum, but he's wrong, and is not helping town at all in the process.
I don't like dealing with Sir Karn since his playstyle frustrates me, but that's more of a OOG thing.

I do. He started off the same as in Winterfell, but has drastically changed then. He's not making any mistakes.
I'm at quakecon this weekend.

Also, we both know I'm older than you.

Did I put Karn on my townlist? Karn's on my townlist.
Still have to migrate files and I'm going to do that the manual way since I don't need all of that *****, but I can finally Computer now
all of this is to say let's lynch um. Not wildfire, he's probably town. Cythare is 50/50. LnGrrrR is a good option. AI would be nice too.

I fake reads all the time. I also tunnel people and then change my mind abruptly, so it looks like I was faking.
I...agree with Sir Karn. That was unexpected.
The simple fact that Seppel is engaged and seems to have no ulterior motives to his posts make me think that he is town.
RVS on a location?
Ok.
Worthless.
A stance on Chris, neato.
Begrudgingly Ruchperion, no vote.
I call bull.
That's something you say post 1.
Even if Natirasha can't vote, not having a vote is not an excuse for non-action.
God this part is so beautiful.
It turns out that this post is Natirasha's last effort at making content.
I'm already voting Natirasha, and you should too.
y nat
Why?
I know, right? It's weird.
I'll throw my vote this way if the wagon takes off, but I'd really rather lynch Killjoy or AI.

@Everyone: Does anyone think Wildfire is town? And if so, why?
@Wildfire
This is self-conscious. I can't see a town!Wildfire making the bolded response.
Can you please expound upon this in more detail? I can't see how a simple response of "megs is my stakepost this game" would make you warm up to me.
Why are you voting /with/ the person you call scum?
Can you clarify your read on me, and on Wildfire?
Wildfire's #203 and #215 is pure IIoA.
You are wrong.
Why do you say this to Wildfire, while your vote is parked safely on Cythare?
This is also self-conscious.
Which questionable people?(nath'd by Seppel in my read, which /never happens/)
@EtR: IIRC, you asked two people questions at the beginning of the game. Why haven't you followed up on those questions?
I hope you are town, but I need to see how things pan out before I solidify a read on you.
My top scumread is Wildfire.
You know my V/LA situation.
I don't care about locations.
I have no idea why LnG is just poking at people to deliver content.
I hate Wildfire's #476 - it's a summary of a /mechanics/ post, and he slings mud at Megiddo.
What changed between "I've warmed to you" and this? It seems extremely strange to me given that I don't think I posted during that period.
Can you clarify your read on me, and on Wildfire?
pretty much this
My mistake - I forgot scum can't vote other scum.
See: Above for Wildfire
As for you: Your posts are bad, but not in a Sir Chris way - in a scum way.

Prophylaxis 10/10 - obv
Think your own reads through.
If I'm scum, do my interactions with scum!Wildfire make sense?
Bzzt. I'm town.

Going to take the weekend to cool my head before sorting out this game.
Jund Fangirl; Few things can describe the bliss of the fangirl's cries fading to silence (broken by occasional munching sounds).
Grixis Emo; 'Why should I go out there? They're all uncaring zombies! *sniff* No one understands me...'

Naya Overenthusiast; Because there is such a thing as too much enthusiasm.
Intent matters. You can disagree with me but you have no basis to discount my read.

I already stated that I was not voting Cythare with the intent to see him lynched (although his continued lackluster posts make me want him dead).

I don't understand where the hell anything you're doing comes from - you're like hansanator, but not as extreme in that regard. Usually, there's a plan, intent, calculating behind scum posts. For you, it's just consistently "wtf?". So while I don't have a town read on you, I don't necessarily think you're scum, either.

I've gotten a lot of mixed signals from Wildfire, Sir Karn, and Ln. I don't remember anything relevant from rezombied and Niv.
@Iso: give reads your list starting from most-want and we'll see what we can work out.
I do feel like this game could use a lynch right about now for info sake so we can stop during here yerking it and going in circles. We have at least 2 generally agreed upon scum found, so how abouts we lynch one.
Iso still think I'm scum for convoluted reasons.
I'm doing the best I can here. I can't really concentrate though, as I've been missing sleep.
Working on my reread also as mich as I can.

I will note, though, that we should wait for Zinda's confirmation that we're locked to move to Ruchperion before we get a wagon going in earnest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
@Meg - My activity level in this game recently is because I've been moving and also I had just replaced in to CT3 in which I had to catch up reading 50 pages and the game was in mylo which required much more of my involvement - so almost all of my focus and mafia time was going there and there are other places you can verify that if you want to. I over-extended myself to play in that game. Your observation was right, your implied conclusion isn't (and I don't agree with your premise, either, but we can discuss that post-game).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
@Proph - what I know about you is that you don't like playing scum because you have trouble faking scum hunting and you don't often find it easy to move fluidly within the game as scum.

How does Sir Chris's intent make him town?
I'm having trouble understanding your thought process, here.
Fair enough.
I am fully caught up.
I am comfortable lynching anyone in my scum pile with the exception of AI until I can get a better read on him. Majora's Mask really burned me hard in my evaluation on him, so I'm trying to get insight into his mindset.
