Lol Forgot Generic was mod confirmed. Ask him though; he is scum in nearly every game he has played with me.
While true that I didn't catch up completely, it doesn't mean I am sum. It means I am a combination of lazy+busy+phone reading sucks.
Meanwhile, Hawk pretty much floated yesterDay, then jumps in wih the hammer on the guy who he said he gave a town pass to because he had played extensively with as a mason.
If you knew another person's game style, and you were convinced he was town, would you hammer him? Or would you try to keep pushing the person who you thought was scum?
Look at Killjoy's lynch, and how lackadaisical Hawk is with his vote. He hammers Karn and brushes it off as "oh well, unstoppable lynch". He jumped onto Killjoy's wagon as the L-1 vote, I believe? Right after Wheat did. And of course, there's the whole "fake hammer" thing.
Also, I skimmed over BSG and..LNG seems completely different in that game compared to this one. He was completely engaged and involved all throughout the game. He has multiple individual posts in that game that have more content in them than he has provided in this entire game.
I have no idea how hawk would come to the conclusion that LNG's behavior in these games was in any way comparable. If that is his scum game, he must be town here.
I can only assume that hawk just threw that out there, hoping no one would actually check, and that it would be enough for us to just give him the benefit of the doubt this one last time that he needs. But it's not happening.
Vote hawk Final answer. Generic can feel free to also read over BSG, but I don't see how he can come to any other conclusion than this one when comparing LNG's behavior there vs. here.
Actually, I'd like more time to reread. Cyan was the one that wanted to lynch karn, he knew that karn could still pick up a bomb and that cyan couldn't win without a lynch on karn.
More like you wanted to know if you could have killed someone tonight if you duped us into no lynching.
But now you're just grasping at straws. Kind of like when you told us that LNG acted the same here that he did in Battlestar. I noticed that you didn't even bother to rebuttal that. Most likely because you know you can't. Like..there is no way that you actually went and read LNG's posts in BNG before making that reference here, because his behavior there couldn't have been more different. You literally just pulled out one game where LNG was scum and tried to bluff us with it.
If I were scum, why would I even bother going after you here? I started this off thinking LNG was scum, and that is certainly the path of least resistance. Especially after you threw out BSG as a comparison. I went to read that game thinking that it was going to confirm what I already suspected, and that I'd be comfortable enough afterwards to come over here and vote LNG as the last scum to finally win this game. I even provided reasons why I thought you had made some town posts today. The idea that I could be scum throughout all of this is a joke, and shows nothing more than desperation on your part.
And I had expressed suspicion of Karn since Day 2, and only backed down from him because I thought he and WG were masons(clearly evidenced by me asking WG if they were in the Illuminati). Saying that I only started trying to lynch him after we learned about his role is a gross misinterpretation of events that does not hold up to any kind of scrutiny. But that's starting to be a familiar story for you.
I think that he did. Did you read the scum chat? You should read the later days and not day 1. We are in End game. His early game is different than his end game. It's impossible to refute a blanket statement like what you said and the speed that you came to that conclusion is troubling. There is no way you read enough of bsg to reach that conclusion. You are either confirmation bias reading me or you are scum.
If you want me quoting similar mindsets, I could do that. It won't be immediate.
The problem is you read his game and didn't see him being scum but didn't go read WWE or any of my scum games. Go put forth a little effort before you lose this for us please.
I read through all of LNG's posts in BSG. If you earnestly believe that he sounded the same in this game as he did in that one, then..I don't know what to tell you, because he was radically different.
Anyway you're dead now. One way or another, the game is over.
He was slightly more involved in BSG but he had the same demeanor. Since he replaced in to this game he has done nothing. In Battlestar Galactica, he started getting behind while being in the game from the beginning. That was his first scum game. I'm assuming he hasn't had many games of scum between then and now which makes sense for him to do as little as possible and stay unnoticed.
I hate being the lynch on the last day, I said yesterday that if you guys had any doubt to lynch me so you can not lose the game off of it.
I'm gonna take a break for a few days. I'm way to pissed off.
lol @ you calling me awful. You did nothing all game and literally just voted along with every wagon. Yesterday you cited inside personal knowledge as to why you thought Karn was town, and then..just voted him anyway.
If you're tired of being endgamed(and you should be, considering the implications of what it means when you are town and consistently alive in the end game), then you should work on that. Engage yourself in the game more or something, be more proactive, I don't know. You coasted through this entire game.

So were you actually a scum Dr. or does the potion just do something different?
Also, were scum with a Daykill from the start or did Seppel in fact give you the gun?
No worries hawk. I don't think Cyan was going to get lynched no matter what. I'm really surprised that no one besides you actually questioned why a claimed limited shot Dr. was still alive this late in the game though...
The potion did what I said, thought I could actually only target my other scum team-members with it. Seppel gave me the gun I think, I didn't start with it. TK stole the BP Vest from Seppel.
Rhand made me think that karn had to be lying about his claim after the role analysis. Once that happened I came out of that night hoping that if generic wanted to NL so we could see if lngrrr was silly enough to try and NK cyan or if cyan would protect someone which would clear it up.

Karn definitely handled his role poorly, which helped me get him lynched. As soon as the bomb dropped he should have been asking the Mod what would happen if he picked it up, instead of not finding out until the very end. I am surprised that Karn could only take items off of town corpses, and that there were so few items available to him.
To be honest I really wasn't feeling the game day 1, and I didn't even remember that Antny was on my team when I voted him. Then Niv also got NKed N1 and my outlook was really sour on Day 2(which resulted in really scummy play on my part), but somehow my Doc claim got through. I was certainly really lucky that Rhand didn't watch Hunger the night that I NKed him. A few things definitely fell my way that needed to.
@Hunger: I didn't take an active role in leading the town when you asked me to because I didn't have a ton of experience with this playerbase. If this game were more older players, I would have done that, and no one would have noticed, but I usually do lead the town, regardless of alignment. But the playerbase in this game seemed like they would have noticed that and not taken my previous play history into account, so, I just didn't bother. It was hard for me to just sit around and do nothing, but it seemed like the correct course of action.
Apparently league games have no spectator chats..that's really disappointing to me, I completely love reading those.
No one thought it was odd that Cyan claimed that his actual role name was "Quack?" I thought that was the game-ending scum slip.
No one thought it was odd that TK-421, the THIEF, was found with a bulletproof vest (which Rhand figured out he stole) while Killjoy flipped a semi-protective role and Seppel had a bomb he could give away, and yet Cyan was still claiming infinite-doc?
I'm glad Cyan won this, even if I do think everything was there for town to figure this out.

Babou was meant to be a town backup, in case the person with the Crystal Ball died, or Rhand/Seppel before they could use their items.
The town really did a great job early in the game for the most part. Niv probably would have been lynched either way because he was super scummy Day 1, and WG suspected TK enough to investigate him for items right out of the gate. All of the other scum managed to tie themselves to each other, and to myself to some extent, which was completely miserable for me.
I wonder if SNL actually thought that Niv was scum, or just shot him because he felt like it.
@Megiddo: Oh I see. To be fair, that rule applies to many players. But I'm flattered to have it named after me.
And I didn't claim infinite Doc, I claimed to have a limited # of shots, I just never had to provide an answer as to how many. The town just went into auto-pilot for awhile and didn't ask the right questions, and because there was only one investigation, they couldn't get to a complete POE endgame.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
Bah, gg scum. My apologies to my teammates for being a big ??? for being AWOL. Real life sucks. And then you die.
Congrats to Cyan; limited doc claim FTW. If I had been a bit more active, I think I would have put more of the pieces together, but...
Many thanks to Scarbo for an enjoyable game and setup. I like the crystal ball idea; made me think about the options a lot harder than a straight cop ability would. I'd welcome any thoughts on how I could have run the role better.
Given the information you had revealed so far and the rest of what I knew about the town, I figured you probably had a 1-shot Track also. Plus you just seemed far more likely to put everything together than Generic(no offense Generic).
Goddammit people. I handed you Niv, Antny, and Cyan on a plate and... ugh. I gunned Cyan because I knew he'd be awful at using it properly and it was the only way I could get people to see he was mafia in the off-chance I'd be N1'd. I didn't expect people to not notice!
To be fair, that claim was basically the only thing that my team really had going for it. I still can't get over LNG thinking that Janitor is some super op role. That role is really lousy. Even knowing the full setup, I can't see what use it was ever going to be.
There were some very impressive town performances this game. Rhand, Hunger, and WG were effectively unlynchable from start to finish. It was just easy to pick them all off when I needed to because the town had no protective roles and only 1 chance each at tracker/watcher/cop.
fun fact, This little outing was only my second time ever being scum. with the first being Warhammer 40k mafia, where I imploded day one. clearly I have no idea how to do it, but I felt that my play was identical to my town play. someone want to fill me in as to what I actually did to out myself d1?
Ehm Seppel... I know you like boasting and stuff... But taking credit for Antny is quite wrong.
And how are we supposed to know you don't give vig shots to town? I mean I understand your reasoning now that you gave it, but if you do it without that reasoning, we obviously all assume you gave it to a townread.
Did you honestly still think he was scum after the un'cced doc claim and the lack of N2 NK?
Anyways: I did figure it out the last day. Too bad I wasn't around to explain it anymore.
After all the work I put in yesterDay, it would've been nice if the other two non-Hawk townies would've at least given Hawk's post about Cyan some thought. Why would a scum!Hawk try to go for Cyan when LnGrrrR is there to lynch?
Look at hawk's post and my thoughts about the setup that I gave yesterDay, and it all clicks.
Especially when Cyan claimed to have protected Generic the last night.. I mean how many items could he have? And Generic over me?
Oh and I caught him in RVS. All you people getting a scumread on me for attacking scum for a bad RVS post: leave me alone next time and help me lynch scum
Props to Cyan for this performance tho. You killed the correct persons at the correct time.
I can read you now I think. The townclear I gave you here helped you in Crosstown. I didn't think you were scum there because of hiw similar you felt here. But I did notice hiw the scummy vibes you always give me as town were absent. So now I know why. Calculated not-scummy posting Cyan is scum.
I did have the track indeed Cyan, but I used it to track Niv n1, saw him commit the NK and then was sad that he was already dead when the day started.

There's a reason the "cyan rule" is called that.
Sorry I couldn't be as present as I wanted to be this game.
I felt Cyan was scum
But I let his claimed role clear him
On the other hand, I investigated scum my first two nights and was on the wagons for scum the first three so I might have a good score still.
Oh well, I did what I could.
There were some very impressive town performances this game. Rhand, Hunger, and WG were effectively unlynchable from start to finish. It was just easy to pick them all off when I needed to because the town had no protective roles and only 1 chance each at tracker/watcher/cop.
I considered letting the Janitor use his kill's items but it didn't get far in development, especially with the Thief.
Millionaires, I hear it's good Music (Disclaimer: lyrics not PG-13) Thanks, CC
