Titans of industry! Your profits are at risk! The mafia has been secretly arranging deals to create a monopoly of businesses they control. It’s time to fight back with good, ol’ democratic capitalism! While each of you would be enemies with another, it’s time to put those rivalries aside for the greater good. Working together, perhaps you can rout this evil that’s trying to bring you all down. Just as nations and stocks rise and fall, so to can your companies.

You are Amazon.com, Town Bankrupt
Known for: Selling anything legal, drone delivery
Amazon.com was poised to be the number one online retailer, able to afford Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (AKA drones) to ship products, until the mafia hit you and hit you hard. There was no warning, but suddenly you were mired in accusations of money laundering and theft.
You may do nothing.
The Stock Mechanic!
The mafia is looking to control the business world, and they’ll make sure whoever they’re in league with has a handsome profit. Maybe even profit off the books. But should your stocks fall, you’ll find yourself dropped like yesterday’s iPhone 3. In particular, each day is divided in four parts instead of the usual three. There will be a Dawn, Day, Twilight and Night. During Dawn, no one may talk, and roles will be assigned. Days will be as usual, with arguing and voting. Twilight will be the time between lynch and when I show up to post the lynch scene. Feel free to talk during Twilight. Night will have silence again, as the mafia makes their moves. This will lead back into Dawn where roles will be assigned. Your businesses will stay the same, but your allegiances and abilities can change. Note that when a player is removed from the game, so is their role, so if you lynch a mafiate, that mafiate role is removed from the role pool, and vice versa with town. So your role from Day 1 to Day 2 to Day 3 can change from town to mafia to town, or town to town to mafia or any other combination. Stocks are fickle like that.
Rules
1. I am the hand of capitalism. What I say goes!
2. Be nice. Remember that no one is really scum, but friends and actual players.
3. Do not edit. Bankruptcy comes on swift wings for those who try to alter their books. (I will modkill you for this.)
4. Do not quote your Role PMs. Divulging business secrets is a losing race. (Another modkill offense.) You may quote your company name, your allegiance, and powers.
5. Do not communicate outside of specified locations. Secret meetings look suspicious to the FBI. (Also a modkill rule.)
6. Once a lynch or no lynch vote is reached, that ends the Day.
7. When voting, make it bold. Also, to help me, please ensure it’s separate from other text so I don’t miss it!
8. You may post a “Bah” post when you die. I don’t suggest “Go Town” or “Go Mafia” because such concepts are fluid.
9. If you expect to be away for more than 72 hours, please let me know.
10. If you have any requests (V/LA, vote count, prod), feel free to post them bolded in thread. If you have questions, I urge you to PM me.
11. Feel free to thank posts.
12. The Mafia win condition is "Equal or control the vote."
13. The Town win condition is "Eliminate the Mafia."

I regret that I have but two middle fingers to give you.
The vote on Karn is serious, and as far as why I voted Karn but not ER for doing the same thing: because ER then proceeded to run the joke into the ground, which has more of a "I'm trying to be funny (and failing)" vibe to it than just a simple "let's vote for someone/something not in the game" vote.
Also, my psychic powers are telling me that the remaining scum have not posted yet.
There is a large difference between "I'm making a serious vote during RVS" and "wanting to kill RVS early". If anything, you and Karn seem to be the ones trying to kill RVS early, as half the players still haven't posted and yet I'm at three votes already. I figure we've still got a day and a half of RVS left that I can make faces at.
As far as me being "hyperactive": .:no::no:. I'm trying to get people to post. For Clans Mafia, I didn't do this until later because we didn't have Days starting at godawful o'clock.

Man you sure sound bothered about a measly three votes on you.
This is all super defensive and overexplaining your actions.
Three votes out of seven people having posted, though.
So?
Explain what you hope to gain out of someone being pushed to L-2 before the game is 24 hours old, taking into account that you either agreed with or at least couldn't be bothered to make a counter statement to the idea that RVS should still be going.

Because that's the road we're going down already.
First, you're not at L2. This is a 13 person game.
Second, you're scum, so even if you were L2, that's fine.

The game also hasn't hit the 24-hour mark yet. Two votes from the remaining six people in 13 hours is - based on how this game is already playing out - probably likely, of whom one will be one of your scumbuddies and the other one will be someone playing like the village idiot.
Also, that is not an explanation of what you hope to gain from this. For that matter, your case of me being scum is "oh god he voted me and is posting a lot", as near as I can tell. Go back and look at CCM7. I posted a lot there. For that matter, go back and look at USUDM (I recommend welding goggles to protect you from the stupid, both from me and from others). Considering how short of a time I was in that, I posted a lot that game, too.

- You think someoneFOUR PEOPLE would come quickhammer you before everyone even checks into the game?
Well, that's an interesting failure to read what I wrote. I'm not that paranoid, but I'm fairly certain that my claim gets me lynched just to improve the town's chances of having a PR land on a good player (because there is then both a lower number of VT slots and nobody has to worry about me going all cowboy-style with a PR).
What I think is that I'm likely to be pushed to claim range either before everyone checks into the game, or shortly afterward if the remaining people actually check in in a semi-timely fashion.

Man, you're getting scummier by the minute.
I'm not trying to misrepresent it, but all you've said of your case is "I'm voting you because you voted me, and because you're 'hyperactive' (translation: posting a lot)." I'm inviting you to state your case, just because I can't figure out what it actually is.

I did not say the bold.
My apologies. That was Specific, but you said you liked his vote which was - at least somewhat - for that reason. Therefore, the assumption that you liked that reason and it was therefore part of your "case" was a valid one to make.
I put my vote on you at first because I thought you vote on me was bad and I wanted to get some reaction.
I also find it funny that you made two posts unrelated to me after I made my vote on you (here and here) before deciding to hop on me. Feels like hesitation from scum.
Not to mention that second post there, addressed to ER, is trying to paint him in a bad light without committing to anything:
But yeah, trying to lynch the mod is scummy. Don't do that.
Then you follow up by being overexplanatory of your actions and paranoid of a quicklynch when you're not even halfway there (3 out of 7 necessary to lynch you).

Voting for things that can't be voted for (nonexistent people, random groups, people not in the game including the mod) is something that I find scummy because it's a sign of trying to be noncommittal even in RVS. You and ER decided to jump right into that particular bucket of slop, and ER got a pass (and that "don't do that") because the whole multi-vote joke was too attention-drawing of a move to make sense as scum to me.

Welcome to Mafia with MDenham, where you get to deal with the most paranoid person to ever play this game. You have now discovered why I don't play this game very often. The gift shop is on the right as you leave.
Initial scum read: MDenham. His early interaction with ER reads like distancing with a little bit of coaching involved. He got defensive when I voted him, and trying to handwave things with an explanation of paranoia reads like trying to apply self-meta, which I think is scummy. That VT softclaim isn't helping matters either. Not many data points to go on, but I'm satisfied with my vote for now.
Now, about Sir Karn, I'm willing to treat the RVS vote as null. That said, I don't like this post. That level of dismissiveness doesn't add anything useful to the game, and the point-blank "you're scum" found here doesn't endear me to him, since I'm not a fan of unqualified assertions of others' alignment without good reason. Could just be fishing for a response, but what makes me think he's slipping is this post, where his jimmies seem to be rustled, but it doesn't read like scum-on-scum fighting to me. Not enough for a scum read, but IGMEOY.
Sir Karn: What's rustling your jimmies, exactly? You seem so intent on going after MDenham that you're losing your composure.
We really need to give things more time for people to post before we start forming wagons, though.
- Arnn, I'm assuming you know everyone's personal pronouns?
~p
Actually I don't save a few:
@Everyone: What personal pronouns does you prefer? If I refer to you as "he" later on in the game, please don't get offended if you do not answer this question.
I hope you don't mind if I use 3rd person plural for you Specific. For example: "[They] seem to be reading as town so far."
I'm surprised no one has brought up the stock mechanic yet. I remarked to Generic that it's practically the opposite mechanic of Smalltown Swap, heh.
I don't want to waste too many posts talking about it, but I have to remark that it cripples a lot of my analysis tools (votal analysis, interactions) and makes a 4-or-3 man lylo a crapshoot. It's pretty similar to a cult game in which I will have to revise my reads list every day.
Like I said in my first post, we go the bastardry TK promised...
Karn is flailing around exactly like he did in KS mafia. Unless he magically changed his meta since then, he's town.
I don't like how MDenham cleared Tom and me for being "too obvious" about what he voted karn for. It fits with his thing of "heavy use of mis-applied theory" that I've seen from him before, but I've never seen his scum game.
Unvote. Vote: Kaburi. Needlessly fencesitting in what might still have been called RVS.
@Arn: iirc, each player in here goes by the male pronoun, except Teia who is female.
Just got to say, you've definitely earned distinction as an MTGS hero

Just checking in myself. It's tough to tell who might be scum from the past few pages. Common thought is that whoever votes someone first is generally scum, which would be MDenham, but that obviously invites a Vizzini loop. And I'm not sure he's entirely wrong in his initial vote. Not because I'm getting particularly scummy vibes from Specific, but he's clearly a very dangerous player, having two heads behind him.

Then you follow up by being overexplanatory of your actions and paranoid of a quicklynch when you're not even halfway there (3 out of 7 necessary to lynch you).

I haven't seen anyone get this upset about 3 votes this early since... ever. And the games I'm thinking of were 12 man not 13.

Most Nominated for Random Categories, 2013
So you're claiming?

Looks like I missed rvs. Between Karn and MDenham, there's scum, but it's still to say.

Special thanks to Serrot_29 for Catbug'mrakul!
Wagons aren't allowed to form until everyone checks in?
Great input. I'm sure there was nothing else to comment.
I'm liking Specific for town.
Like I said in my first post, we go the bastardry TK promised...

I'm down for this wagon. No vote on kaburi's part, even though he finds at least two people to be scummy.
Do I get a pass too? I don't think you've said much if anything about my vote.
