Rick rode into Atlanta on horseback. It was nothing like Morgan had said. There were hundreds of burned-out vehicles on the highway leading away from the city, but the road in was completely deserted. An abandoned military blockade was further evidence that something was wrong. Rick shifted his bag, the weight of his guns providing slight solace against the deafening silence of the once-bustling metropolis.
What had happened here? Where were the refugees? Would he be able to find his family, alive?
Rick's ears suddenly perked up. He could hear the sound of a helicopter flying overhead. The sound of help. He spurred his horse into a full gallop, rounding a street corner in pursuit of the chopper, only to stumble across a horde of walkers that completely filled the street. Atlanta had fallen.

Ignorance is not an excuse. Know these rules and do not break them.
Bold your votes and unvotes please, this makes it easier for your moderator. They should look like this: Vote loran16.
If you are unvoting, please write Unvote loran16 rather than just Unvote as this makes the vote counts easier and more accurate.
Any votes or unvotes not in bold will not be counted.
Do not communicate at night or day unless your role PM says otherwise.
Do not quote PMs or you will be modkilled. You may discuss the flavor and paraphrase it in your own words, but do not quote any PMs.
Please unvote before casting a new vote. This is optional, but it makes the host's life easier.
You may Vote: No Lynch, and a majority of these votes will end the day without a death.
Please do not thank, edit, or delete posts (no matter how stupid a mistake you made). This will get you modkilled. This is your only warning.
Once you’re dead, you’re dead, so stop posting please. A single ‘bah’ post is permissible.
Even after you are dead, please refrain from discussing the game or your role with anyone, even other players who have also been eliminated. If you have any questions about this rule, please ask.
If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 72-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Otherwise, you may be prodded or replaced.
If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. The game will not wait for you – if you do not submit a choice in time, tough! No choice will be made.
Lynches will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will go unheeded.
If you are requesting a mod prod or vote count, please bold your request so that your moderator can see it more clearly.
In order to keep this game moving, everyone is expected to post at least once every two to three days and if you don't, you may be replaced or modkilled WITHOUT WARNING, whatever your side.
In the event of a Day ending with a deadline instead of a lynch, No Lynch will occur.
If two Day & Night cycles pass with no deaths, all players will lose.
The Town Win Condition is: You win when all hostile players are eliminated.
HAVE FUN. This is not optional.
Lastly and most importantly: Respect us and the rest of the players; your moderator hopes to not have to modkill anyone.
Game-Specific Rule: All town players have the role name "Walker."
Walker (Town Vanilla)
You struggled and fought against the undead hordes, but eventually succumbed. You have joined them in their hunt for the living.
You have no special abilities.
Walking (4/12):
Antny223, Walker (Town One-Shot Vig)
Rhand, Walker (Town Vanilla)
Shockwave07**, Walker (Town Two-Shot Doctor)
The Most Curious Thing (r. Steamflogger Joss), Walker (Town Vanilla)
Rick doubled back, but was cut off by another group of walkers. His horse panicked and reared up, throwing Rick off and knocking the bag of guns to the ground. Rick recoiled in horror as the ravenous dead tore into the flesh of his steed, devouring it alive. He scrambled underneath a nearby tank for cover, only for walkers to crawl after him in dogged pursuit. He gunned two down, but more continued to come. Despairing, Rick put the gun to his own head, ready to end his suffering, when he suddenly realized that the bottom hatch of the tank was open. He quickly entered and sealed the hatch, taking a moment to catch his breath. Even though he was trapped and surrounded, at least, for the moment, he was alive.
"Hey you, dumbass," a voice said. Rick looked around. It was coming form the tank's radio. "You in the tank. Cozy in there?" There was someone else out there. Someone alive.

It is currently Day One. With 12 alive, it's 7 votes to lynch.
Day One will end no later than 11:59PM EST, Wednesday, November 27th.
Of the four that have posted so far I do have a strong town read on one.
Well, you should probably have a strong town read on Joss/TMCT because he name claimed Walker first, which is going to be common, and knew that it would be common enough to suggest the name claim. Don't think he would have known or thought to do that without being that role.
Mirror seemed to catch what Joss was doing right away but was over enthusiastic about it, didn't seem to be placing much independent thought into it, and already seems self-conscious.
Shockwave did not get what TMCT was doing and made a vote that could be interpreted as RVS or not. No strong read on that yet.
Your willingness to cast doubt on the only four players who had already posted at once makes you read townish to me.

The mod's post says that all town roles are Walkers.
On the other hand, I agree with Rhand re:Burning Earth's "I am a walker", and the desire to avoid RVS looks like a scum mindset of trying to stay under the radar.
The mod's post says that all town roles are Walkers.
Yep, realize that now. TMCT intentionally asked everyone to give a simple yes or no to not spell that out for others if they didn't catch it either; so why did you spell that out for others?
On the other hand, I agree with Rhand re:Burning Earth's "I am a walker", and the desire to avoid RVS looks like a scum mindset of trying to stay under the radar.
Vote Burning Earth
Real vote
Not one but two RVS joke votes after RVS (TMCT ended RVS before it even began) when there's legit stuff going on and, from what I've read, you tend to get serious when legit stuff starts happening. Also, feeling the need to clarify that the second isn't a real vote.
"Pings my radar" statement about Shockwave while removing commitment to the opinion in the same sentence.
DCIII, it's actually fairly common for people who miss RVS to come in and at least contribute something random. Some players get more fun out of it than others do. I always joke around in RVS, feel free to look at my completed games (in sig) for reference.
Also, most of the playerbase didn't post until after TMCT/AE got serious about mirrorentity.
And how is my vote on Burning Earth opportunistic? He made a post expressing a desire to avoid RVS, which is scummy. Scum often neglect to vote during RVS or avoid it altogether, it's a method to avoid being noticed. By your logic here, any vote that isn't the first vote on a wagon is opportunistic.

Agreed that it's fairly common to contribute something random when missing RVS but in this game everyone missed RVS, the game was already progressing with content - and you did this twice. Plus, you felt the need to call out that the TMCT vote was still joking.
It's opportunistic based on the scrutiny on Burning Earth at the time of the vote. While neglecting to RVS vote or avoiding it altogether can sometimes be a scum tell, Burning Earth is a brand new player and openly stated that he was going to do this. This draws a lot of attention to him. Sure, it's notable and worth questioning, but with everyone since posting something about it and focused on it, he's certainly not flying under the radar. He will have to explain himself when he returns. So, pressing another vote is opportunistic because it allows you to get on the wagon early and it's not a vote that many would question. I would have expected you to wait for Burning Earth to respond to the scrutiny and see what his answer was prior to placing a vote if you were town since there was no need to draw attention to the situation as it had the most focus of anything at the time. I see it as a push to create momentum where momentum wasn't needed.
Also, your awareness that players avoiding RVS is scummy doesn't speak well of your multiple RVS votes after the game was progressing with content.
@Kraj - this is my fourth game. One completed, one I'm not active in, another I am active in. I don't consider myself experienced, but I'm working on it.

Because I enjoy joking around in RVS. I noted that my TMCT vote was not serious because a real vote was coming in the same post.

You're reaching pretty far here. First, why are you assuming B_E is a brand new player? I doubt that he is because his posts indicate a familiarity with how the game works. He may be new to this site if he isn't a gimmick, but I doubt he's new to Mafia.
Also, you're saying that I should not place a vote on a player who posted something scummy just because a) the post had already been called out, and b) another player had already voted? This makes no sense. Momentum is how wagons get started and how things in the game get figured out. It's not like I put him at L-2. How are we going to progress the game if everyone follows that reasoning?
@TMCT:
No. I would like to here your thought process on this please.
@DCIII:
You're admitted that you believed to have knowingly Town slipped. With that being said it sounds like you tried to force a Town slip rather than letting it come naturally.
Because I enjoy joking around in RVS. I noted that my TMCT vote was not serious because a real vote was coming in the same post.
The tone and fact that you immediately unvoted made it clear that it was not serious so you didn't need to clarify. I see the additional clarification as self-conscious.

BE said he was a new player playing in one other game off site in the sign up thread. He also is posting like a new player.
I'm not saying that there's no place for momentum in the game of Mafia - I'm saying that you jumped on the easy wagon early when everyone in the game was focused on BE already and he hadn't yet responded to their focus. That, in the context of what I see as forced RVS votes, and casting suspicion on Shockwave while backing off of the stance in the same sentence, is why you have my vote.
