Would like to gauge interest in another round of palace guards. We played 3 last time iirc. Id host one and then if interest in another round hopefully someone else would host so i could play
1 king - no abilities but Very Important for the survival of the kingdom. Wins if he survives the assassination attempt.
4 Palace Guards - know the identity of the king. no other abilities. Wins if the king survives the assassination attempt.
1 assassin - one kill that can be used at any time, even after their lynch. Wins if he successfully assassinates the king.
There is no night. Majority lynch
I just ran a variant on MAL and the discussion came up that the best strategy for town is to lynch randomly and not talk at all.

KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
This is War Mafia Closed, Normal, Low-Complexity Setup for 15 players. Not Role Madness.
Reviewers include DV, the worst, and Silver.
Cohosted by Silver.
I'd like to submit to the Specialty Queue:
Voldemort's Throne Room Mafia Closed, Lightly-Bastard, High Complexity Setup for 18 players.
Co-Hosted by (And partially designed by) Shinichi.
Reviewed to varying degrees by DV, Silver, the worst, and a few others.
I'd like to submit to the Mini Queue:
Multi-Culty Madness Mafia Open, Medium Complexity Setup for 12 players, created by the joint efforts of Osie and Zone Q11.
Reviewed by Silvercrys3467 and roz1roz.
Possibly a cross-site event game with MC run with likely 5d/2d phases.
I'd like to submit to the Micro Queue:
Token 4 Mafia Open Micro Setup for 7 players.
Reviewed by DV. Eyes on it from tomsloger, the worst, and others.
Cohosted?
I approved tom's game, but didn't add Ballade des Dames du Temps Jadis Mafia to the queue yet, since it is lacking reviewers. When you find them, just post again on this thread.

The Tiniest Hunt
A modified 7 player version of witch hunt
Most important bits:
Flipless, with roles that gain flip information
Roleset will be public, most roles can be either alignment
Witches have some ability to optimize their roles
Participation after death (extremely simplified version of this, essentially dead town are the doctor)
Anti claim mechanic
I would like to add a....I forget the name of what it is called, but the opposite of mountainous (everyone is a PR). Will be looking for reviewers in a couple days, just putting in some final touches. It will be Dota 2 (13 players) and run on a plurality deadline (game day can still end with a majority, but at deadline, the highest vote count is lynched. A tie will be lynched at random.)

Submitting "Covenant of Darkness Mafia" to the Normal queue. A closed low-power set-up for 14 players, with original flavour so dark you'll trip on it if it lays down on asphalt.
I would like to add Mountainous Arson to the Mini queue
Mountainous Arson has no power roles, and the factional night kill is replaced with a factional Arsonist ability. Each Night, the Mafia select a player to "prime". That player doesn't die and isn't aware they are primed. A limited number of times per game, the Mafia team can "ignite" all primed players, killing them simultaneously.
Exact player numbers and ignite limit to be determined.
ETA: "Marson" will run as a 13 player game with 2 ignites (10/3)

These 5 must stay healthy.
1 coronavirus: once per game "infect action" can be used at any time. Wins if they infect the healthy person
