Ffffff.... just lost my whole post. Ugh. That took like 20 minutes to compile because I was thinking about it as I wrote. (And yes, 20 minutes was a long time, because I wasn't writing an essay there, just a 1-2 sentence answer to the questions and a 1-2 sentence summary of each player on my wagon for Shark.)
Also I made a pretty good pun about Generic and now I have to go dig up the sentence it was about again.
I'll just wait to see if anyone else needs something responded to before I remake my post.
Mist, does your read mean you believe there's a small chance that Tom is scum? What makes you think this? The whole wording just doesn't sit well with me; it reads, to me, as if you're trying to strongly assert that Tom is town whilst fence sitting.

If Tom is scum, then by getting me lynched (and potentially others) who are actually town, he's leading us on a wild goose chase for the scum whilst he is watching the scene in the stands eating popcorn and slaying more innocent townies each night.
However, if Tom is town, which I highly suspect, then he is sincerely trying to find scum and may accidentally lynch a few townies along the way.

On another, random note, I just realized that I have a Princess Bride calendar, and for April's little quote at the bottom, it has the WIFOM line. Mafia... why do you come into my everyday life?
5 people are on your wagon at this time. With 12 players there will be 3 mafia (standard play, look at every other Basic). You have 3 players with town reads (slight to strong) and 2 null reads. Given your bias (you = town in your pov) and current reads, there is slightly over 50% that at least 1 scum is on your wagon. Who is it?

If people are sick of reading about stuff just stop taking part. You have 100% control over what you read. Simic Ascendancy isn't going to get banned just because you didn't tell someone to shut up on the internet.
PBPA on MRHBlue (ignoring /confirm; comments in italics):
#22: RVS vote on Rhand for Sig
#30: RVS vote on Shark for "breaking his brain"?
#132: PTAP, No Internet, content that day (4/15)
#184: Forgives Tom, says he's posted no content [that's true thus far]; Votes Mistshadow because he's new scum getting sea legs. [interesting point here. if MS is town, then he counteracts his point to MS, saying scum dont want to vote bad wagons]. Thinks Che is scum and mudslinging. Agrees with petards points on the "suspicious wording" which me and Tom have discussed already [Tl;DR, makes better sense as is]. [Additionally already setting up a chain lynch, saying we can get che D2].
#211: Incorrect VC post (addressed at Tan).
#222: Drops the "suspicious wording slip", attributes it to inexperience; Asks Polski why he doesnt like his post (vote or "slip")? [defensive]
#232: Polski backed down and basically says that if others thought his vote looked bad, "duly noted" [odd behavior here. pre-emptive dismissal?]
#237: Basically says, I don't care if I am wrong, I still don't like Che's post. [Kinda dont like this, but eh.]
#275: OMGUS. Says people will think he's scum because MS suspects him and if Mist flips scum, we will come after him. [doesn't think town can tell whether or not he is scum and whether MS behaved like he was bussing partner].
Summary:
He has produced little content of his own. His vote is basically based off 1 post and something that is more attributed to novice play vs. novice scum play. He seems very interested in other's opinions of him. He pre-emptively dismisses any future arguments made through his posts/reactions. Overall, I don't like him right now
Question for MRHBlue:
Why did I break your brain in Post #30? All I did was vote Polski and then vote iksloP (backwards Polski).
Who is the towniest player in this game
Assuming MistShadow is lynched; if MS is town, who is/are your top pick(s) for scum? if MS is scum, who is/are your top pick(s) for scum?

What about my posts are scummy? I answered your question and stated you were just new scum and playing badly. I then voted you.
When mist flips scum everyone is going to point at that as Mist bussing me after she was caught. It is OMGUS.
You seem 100% certain that I'm scum. Congratulations, you've been promoted to the top of my potential scum list, because only a scum would give no reason for the 100% certainty of me being scum. I'm pretty sure Tom is 99.9% positive, but he's had like 2 pages of reason. ImTehFairy made a whole post about how I'm scum, but they weren't just like "oh btw mist is gonna flip scum." I mean, what the hell? Oh, and it's Day 1, so you haven't even investigated anyone yet if you were the cop and you investigated me and I turned out to be mafia.
So, again, congratulations good sir.

- Are you currently voting MRHblue?
- That last line of that first paragraph feels way off. Man. It really reads like you know that if you were investigated you'd flip scum for the cop.
- Also that cop line could potentially be fishing.
- The part about me having two pages of reason really reads like you know that my reasoning is good and legitimizes my feelings about you. Same with the part about ITF.
- As of now I'm not 99.9% sure. I'm 100% sure.
Early on, Mist plays both sides of the Polski/Che thing.
Indeed.
She does something similar to what Polski did earlier, wanting to watch and wait. By itself, not too scummy for a new player, but it's odd because there's plenty going on with the two people she's voiced suspicion of (che and polski).
Generic also does this with his double FoS, which I didn't like, but I got a stronger gut town reaction to his earlier posts.
Oh okay, so Generic is allowed to do it but I'm not?
Second paragraph bothers me. Mainly the second sentence; she shouldn't need to tell us that she's genuinely concerned to find scum, it should be apparent.
Well apparently it wasn't apparent.
---
@Shark: Oh, and please don't call me MS, that's the abbreviation in another game I play for 'Mad Scientist', and it's really confusing whenever you call me that.
Use Mist, please.

I was trying to say that if he was cop and if I was actually scum and if he investigated me and got scum result, then he would have justification (although if it wasn't D1 and he had investigated me and if I actually was scum this game, he'd have done a very bad job of justifying his vote on me without roleclaiming.)

This response makes me feel absolutely no better than I did before you made the response.
What motive/reason do you have for doing that as town?
Being honest, as I think is best for a townie in Mafia, I thought I was going to be accused of lurking if I didn't post soon, so my at-the-time crapass logic stated, "Then just make an argument, how crappy it is doesn't matter, you can deal with that later." (My logic was complete **** and I already know it, you don't have to rub it in my face.)

I thought this was a joke at first, because of the added "huehuehue" at the end.
Honest. It's a common phrase. You and I would say "cut up" even though we don't actually mean we're cutting something upwards (depending on how you're cutting, you're usually actually cutting downwards xP)

I tried to find the quote that explained better what tall-people or tall-person syndrome is, but couldn't. I don't even know if that is the correct name for it, but I'll do my best to explain what it means (or I mean):
A couple of midgets or hobbits or whatever hate being short. So one day three of them stand on each other's shoulders and put an overcoat on, so as to look like the rest of the regular tall-people and fit in. Then they walk into the city and the one on top whose face is showing says: "Hello my fellow tall-people! I'm a tall-person who thinks today is a very nice day for us tall-people. I'm not a short-person so I think I'm going to go to a tall-person restaurant with you tall-people today."
Basically it means to fit in some unnecessary "I'm town" "a townie like me" "...the town, which I am a part of,..." comments. It is generally a scum trait.
Anyway, yes I know you admitted it was crappy, but that doesn't mean I can't reiterate it. I also don't feel like I was "rubbing it in your face".
Nice fear-mongering at the end.
------
Alright I'm pretty much done here until Mist gets lynched or something interesting comes up.
Mist's recent posts have only solidified her scum status for me, and MRH's awful distancing attempt is so blatant. Did you really expect that kind of thing to fly?
I do find generic's behavior kind of interesting. Vote somebody, then jump off and vote someone else when his wagon doesn't get any traction. Not something that needs prodding at this point, but we'll see where it goes.
I'm pretty much in the same boat as Tom in regards to this Day. I'm ready for it to be over with a Mist lynch.
Welcome ITF, you made a strong entrance, and I’ll happy vote MistShadow. I agree with your PBPA, specifically the “2nd sentence” and the ensuing response from Mist. That means I was wrong on my other point on a possible townMist. I did think it was a town-tell too, but I guess Tom may be right after all. For reference:
Do you still think your original point was a town-tell, or have you changed your mind on that specific tell?
It's a little odd that you assume you were wrong before Mist even flips.
I still think it can be a town tell. I've only started picking up on it recently, (mainly me using it as town), so I still think it's a town thing to say. But given added pressure and poor responses, that town feeling I thought I might have for Mist fell downward fast.
Aside: Starting to agree with Polski's posts, but need to look into it more to be sure.
Part of the reason I ask is because I see it as a huge null tell. Both new scum and town do it all the time.
@Everyone: I've just quickly looked over the new posts and you all have asked me to roleclaim.
In that case, I roleclaim Stardust, Vanilla Townie.
Not to add even more to the Mist case, but the wording here pretty much convinces me that she's mafia. Rather than saying "I am Stardust" or "My role is Stardust", she's claiming to be Stardust. It's much more detached, and if she is scum, she's avoiding outright lying.
I didn't bring this up earlier because I wanted to see if someone else would catch it.
~
I was hoping we'd hear from Len and Petard, and Che a bit more, but I don't think there's much else to discuss. In terms of other suspects, I wanna look back on it once we know Mist's alignment. I'm about 90% sure she's scum, but knowing for sure what she is changes things quite a bit.
I'm ready to end the day whenever everyone else is.

And actually, I was just finishing up my homework So yes, I'll go back and rewrite it now.
iRebel: Since they have been gone for 2/3 of the game, there's not too much content from them, making marking them as town or scum very difficult.
Tom: I'm 98% certain that he is town. The other 2% of me is thinking that he's going to lead you all on a wild goose chase.
ImTehFairy: Seems town, but they haven't been in the game long enough for me to place them confidently in one group or the other.
MRHblue: Hasn't posted much... I'm kinda 50/50 on him, don't really know what to think.
Polski: My gut feeling is saying he's probably town or an excellent mafioso, but I shouldn't trust my gut feeling in this game. So, unsure.

I'm about ready to end the day, once everyone has been responded to.
Vote MRHBlue
Note: Willing to move vote as needed to MistShadow, but time to do some extra work here.

He has produced little content of his own. His vote is basically based off 1 post and something that is more attributed to novice play vs. novice scum play. He seems very interested in other's opinions of him. He pre-emptively dismisses any future arguments made through his posts/reactions. Overall, I don't like him right now

@Tom and everyone: Gonna go back and answer those questions now, I just saw Generic's quote of blue's post and I'm like "lolno."
Oh god dammit Shark

*shudders*
- Are you currently voting MRHblue?
- That last line of that first paragraph feels way off. Man. It really reads like you know that if you were investigated you'd flip scum for the cop.
- Also that cop line could potentially be fishing.
- The part about me having two pages of reason really reads like you know that my reasoning is good and legitimizes my feelings about you. Same with the part about ITF.
- As of now I'm not 99.9% sure. I'm 100% sure.
What did he do?
Indeed.
Oh okay, so Generic is allowed to do it but I'm not?
Well apparently it wasn't apparent.
---
@Shark: Oh, and please don't call me MS, that's the abbreviation in another game I play for 'Mad Scientist', and it's really confusing whenever you call me that.
Use Mist, please.
@Tom: Okay I seriously don't know what questions you want me to answer. Quote. Them. If. You. Want. Them. Answered.
Was about to post my reply and then I refresh the topic and Tom asked me a question.
- No, but I'm on the brink of doing so. If he doesn't give me a good reason for my points soon, I'll vote him.
- I thought it might, but I couldn't think of a better way to word it. I was trying to say that if he was cop and if I was actually scum and if he investigated me and got scum result, then he would have justification (although if it wasn't D1 and he had investigated me and if I actually was scum this game, he'd have done a very bad job of justifying his vote on me without roleclaiming.)
- I guess it could, but it was not meant to be so.
- Well I'm being honest, because I can see why you'd want to vote for me.
- Alright then, but again, you've got 2 pages of reasoning.
He posted a PBPA of MRHBlue 3 minutes before I posted a reasoning as to why I thought MRHBlue was scummy. xP
I have asked them already. It is you who should find them, as it is you who neglected to respond to them. I shouldn't have to take the time and effort to dig up what you ignored.
Nevertheless, since I'm a nice guy, here. Two things in that post addressed to you that you never responded to.
This response makes me feel absolutely no better than I did before you made the response.
It was a joke, but I wanted to see how you reacted to it.
Tall people syndrome
Self-conscious as hell
"make crappy comment to make people think you are helping / doing stuff"
-----------
Ok, unless anyone has something important that needs to be asked or said, I'm now ready to end the day with a dead Mistshadow.
Tall... people... syndrome... what?
Yeah I just said that the green point was crappy. I also said you didn't have to rub it in my face.
And if I do get lynched (which has a 95% chance of happening), all I'd like to say is that I'm going to imagine the looks on your faces as soon as I'm lynched and savor Tom's.

Alright I'm pretty much done here until Mist gets lynched or something interesting comes up.

Part of the reason I ask is because I see it as a huge null tell. Both new scum and town do it all the time.
Agree, I'd like to hear more from the others, specifically more from MRH in regards to Generic's position and my questions.
Also another nice catch there ITF.

The main thing that caught my eye so far is that Generic spends most of his time buddying and being silly. There's not much useful content from him.
More from me tomorrow.
