Problem is that, due to the similarities with the players in question above, and the fact they tended to play a much more competent scum game, I' inclined to think swishh is town based off history with that style of player. I don't however have ANYTHING to back this up, it's merely my gut speaking here.

Finally. Ok Seppel, please tell us what we are doing wrong and fix things.
Nice suck-up post. Seppel might as well be confirmed Town as this point.
But I posted that before Seppel's big content post...
I fail to see what that has to do with anything.
Your post reeks of scummniess. Someone joins in as an replacement and your first action is to buddy up to them, rather hard at that. And the player that was replaced had been seen as scummy. Therefore sucking up to Seppel shows that you know Seppel is experienced and is Town, when, as Town, you wouldn't know Seppel's alignment.
Well, I just finished playing Ataghan where we were doing ok, but then a wild Seppel appeared and won the game for us. In that context, is it so surprising that I hope for a similar performance from him here?

That doesn't mean you should be scuking up to Seppel. More so when the previous player was viewed as being scummy.
This. I don't disagree that Asenion's immediate suck-up looks bad (because it does), but I think that people are confusing AGod with Jon. AGod was a complete nonentity, and Seppel basically has an open plate upon joining.
@Macius
Does the "trade" resolve before or after the target performs his Night action? Does the "trade" resolve before or after NKs? Please ask Iso if you don't know.
Also, this is great way to suspicion on to a Town player, me. I say we go ahead and lynch me. My Role is useful, but takes two Nights for it be fully useful. I have done plenty of scum hunting and helped the Town considerably at this point. Me flipping Town will nearly confirm Tom as scum. Also, if the Tom flips scum, then the Mafia are unlikely to have Day Chat since they Mafia Day Kill is typically used during LyLo for an easy win.
Please explain why Swishh flipping Town would not have a bearing on Asenion's alignment.
Because not every player's flip has an impact on every other player's alignment...? swishh flipping town doesn't make me think "Asenion looks more ______ now."
While it is obvious to me that my vote was seized it should not have been obvious to TMCT, but yet he responded with “Yeah.” If TMCT was Town he would have questioned my claim. Thinking more about it, I wouldn’t be surprised if TMCT had something to do with my vote.
I've had a town read on you the entire game. When you confirmed that the vote count was "wrong," I guessed that you legitimately had no idea and that the italic vote was someone else's doing.
I feel bad that the flavor made me sadder than swishh dying (sorry swishh)
Meh, but it saved a NK at any rate. Rereading now and unsure about Macius. Tom is now leaning town just on the merit of being a dayvig, not that I'd put it past Iso to include a scum dayvig.
Saved an NK? Subconscious slip here. TCMT meant to say it saved a “lynch” here, not an NK. But since TMCT posted NK it shows his scum mindset and that Swishh was being considered a NK. It’s possible that the scum team has Day Chat.
I'm assuming the confusion is stemming from "save" (keep for later) and "save" (rescue) being polysemic -- I used the latter ("it saved a NK from dying") and not the former ("it saved a NK from being used"). The sentence isn't a stellar display of English, but I don't get how you're extrapolating that it was a subconscious scumslip. Especially using the logic that swishh was being considered a NK.
* I don't like TMCT's #84. He seems to claim scum. His weird contradictory #53-54 and all his pushes of Macius without ever placing a vote are all off.
#84 is what it is. I don't see how that's me claiming scum.
Yeah, #53-54 was weird. The moment after posting #53 I remembered that I've attacked the time between posts on multiple occasions, and every time it was town that I was attacking. After self-invalidating that I had no reason to see StormBlind's response as anything but authentic.
I "voted" Macius in #99, when I said I wanted him to claim. According to Void he was at L-2 there (it was actually L-3), so I wouldn't actually vote him. I'd say the same for Guardman not voting in #97.
I think we need to direct Macius's action tonight. My preference is that we treat him as a vanilla and don't let him switch up roles.
If he's town and manages to steal a scum role, he gives scum the ability to steal one of our own roles the next night. If he's scum and we tell him not to use his ability, we'll know he's scum if he does use it.
Yes. With no further information, I don't want Macius using his ability.
Void's claim is verifiable, but only if he 1) does not disclose his target to ensure he lives through the NK and confirm Void's claim on the following Day or 2) if we protect his target in every possible way. Am I wrong here?
Like where in your head did it sound like a good idea to explain to the scum how they scum slipped so they could just make up an excuse instead of waiting for them to answer so we could catch them? Now instead of a guaranteed catch, we have a maybe.
I hate this post with every fiber of my being. "guaranteed catch" means +KK/Asenion scumbuddies.
Asenion, what was the point of laying a scum trap if it was a "guaranteed catch" to begin with?
@Rhand: I can put you at ease about Kosa at least. I think he's scummy enough to lynch. I'm not sure if I understand how saying I don't know someone's alignment yet is a scum slip though. I will address the first point when I have time, which will likely be Monday.
You also called Tom town just based on being a dayvig. What about his behaviour? Is that in line there as well?
I think Tom is more likely town than not based on being a dayvig, but that's only leaning. I have a mostly null/conflicting read on his behavior -- apart from the decision to shoot swishh, which I think is town (not necessarily the decision to shoot swishh without town consensus, but the decision to shoot swishh in particular).
That being said, if his multiple shots claim is accurate, I think he's definitely town or SK, not mafia.
So it seems you've got a lot of town reads, but no scum leads at the moment. Can you give me a few names that you're currently suspicious of and why?
Macius (his answer to my question above may or may not influence this; I won't say anything else right now).
Jonpike1. His #337 is a wolf-in-sheep's-clothing plan for directing a claimed town PR, with a stated town benefit hiding a greater mafia benefit beneath the surface. (I also don't like his reasoning for replacing out, but I can't talk about that at will.)
KK. Everything about his presence on the Void wagon is garbage, before and especially after the claim. He was also quieter than town-KK has been in the early game, which often comes from first-time scum.
Asenion. If KK is scum Asenion is scum along with him. Reasoning directly above.
SB is leaning into that list but I'll need to reread him again.
Oh cute, look at StormBlind overreacting. I didn't recall something correctly, so instead of saying, "Hey, you're wrong; this is what happened," he blows up and FOSes me.
@Stormblind: I'll review your posts with the corrected information, likely during N1. In the meantime, please vote KosaKosa.
Macius should use his ability on Tom, for obvious reasons. The only downside is that Macius is a terrible shot, but it's still the best play.
Seppel, what do you mean with the bolded?
I don't like this plan. If Macius is scum, this is one ability we don't want him to have. Unless you have a compelling 'Macius is town' case, I don't agree on this.

Consider Pale Mage to be a Level 100 Mafia Player

Consider yourself to be a Level 15 Mafia Player

In other words, I expect Macius to be a chucklehead and vig randomly for the lulz. But it's worth it to confirm Tom as town or Enchantress.

Why does Macius switching roles with Tom confirm Tom as town or enchantress? Why couldn't Tom be scum?
What are your thoughts on Asenion now that Kosa's confirmed town? The quotes that TMCT highlighted in his last post seem to reflect poorly on Asenion (despite that TMCT was trying to use them to make Kosa look worse). Could Asenion and TMCT be scum together, in your opinion?

I have a pretty good townread on Asenion based on him playing much better than he did in Cyberspace and Ataghan.
I could see him as scum if and only if he's taking this game seriously because he's scum.
I could see them as scum together if TMCT flips scum.
Guardman, wasn't it you that said we should base our decisions on behaviour alone?
See above, but I believe that everybody should have a chance to claim before lynch. I just believe that 9/10 times the claim should hold no sway. But I hold out hope for the 1/10 like we had here.

Unvote
Welcome to the town Kosa. Why were you being so aggressive and flipping your vote around so much? The baseless aggression with inconsistent seeming reads is why I voted you. Those behaviors didn't seem town. Now that you are confirmed town, what are your reads again? Am I your only scum suspect or do you have another?
I've been busy all weekend and my other game is at deadline and very intense atm, so I still haven't done the re-reading I said I would do. Give me a couple days and I'll be able to back up my opinions better with some quotes.
In the meantime, my clearest scum read is Stormblind. I think Macius is town. Nothing he has done screams scum to me any more than just inexperienced. His mindset has been inconsistent, but I can't piece together a scum objective from it. It's more like he's just unsure and changing opinions a lot. Similar concept for Jonpike. Jon was just completely out of his depth here. Go head his other games to see that the behavior here is consistent with those.

I don't see how stealing Tom's ability would give us any hint on his alignment and I don't want to give daykills to scum.

Seppel you aren't helping anything by doing this I can prove he is town, but I'll say later. Unless you can prove otherwise Macius should be the lynch today as everything about him screams scum. And it isn't noob acting like scum stuff this is classic scum stuff that comes from a scummy mindset such as OMGUSing everyone that voted him to voting for himself and joining his wagon to trying to just straight WIFOM in response to his wagon.
I've played too many games with you to just trust you because you are Seppel.
So Kosakosa's scum, but I knew that already. Still gonna leave my vote on Jonpike for now.

Oh, thought I was voting Kosakosa. Must have written that one up yesterday then decided to delete it to keep some pressure on Jon.
Unvote, Vote Kosakosa.
Glad to see you're town, Seppel! Why is Macius for-sure town?
And only now the vote? After the wagon got more steam than the fricking Industrial Revolution? Hell no, way too convenient, way too thoughtful, way too fabricated.
Edit via double because I derped and forgot bold text. Iso has enough trouble seeing votes as it is
Unvote; Vote KosaKosa.
And I'm having enough trouble seeing why you've voted me, as you never explained. Care to do it now?
Asenion's vote strikes me genuine. Seppel's not that much, but not odd either. What I don't like, however, is his certainty in stating people's alignments: so I was clearly scum for him, yeah? Thing is, I'm not. We should watch Seppel closely, particularly if SB ever flips town. Also, this was never addressed:
While it is obvious to me that my vote was seized it should not have been obvious to TMCT, but yet he responded with “Yeah.” If TMCT was Town he would have questioned my claim. Thinking more about it, I wouldn’t be surprised if TMCT had something to do with my vote.

It's in our nature At least that probably makes you Town, though. Speaking of which, I'll be eagerly waiting to be focused by you in order to confirm your role. And don't you ****ing dare to give me the vest: if you don't give me the PEWPEWPEW I'll lie about it and have you lynched
@Seppel: Please stop dodging my questions. They're less relevant now that I'm confirmed town but they still are. Also, what makes you think I have a double vote?
@Asenion: My agression on Void wasn't baseless. That said, Void's "catch" on me made me want to let the wagon on me happen early so we could have lots of info to analyze D2, so I just played along.
My scum read on you was mostly based on Void being scum. Now that seems unlikely, I'm back to a null read on you.
@Rhand: If I withhold info, it increases the chance the mafia will try to kill me.
This is bull, as town you're already a prime NK target for being a good player. If you have some sort of self-protection as you breadcrumbed and really wanted to be NK'ed, you wouldn't have breadcrumbed it. Stop doing this.
I don't remember you "knowing" that I was scum at all. Furthermore, I'm scum but you don't place your vote on my wagon because...? Oh yeah, to wait until it gets enough steam. Let's play the sit-on-the-fence game!
I don't think that means what you think it means. I wasn't sitting on the fence. You were really scummy. Like, really scummy. It got bad once I convinced myself that Void was town. Your actions towards him early on were horrible. The "slip", as weak as it was, was another step towards that, then you just got disinterested in the whole thing (makes sense now, but it's still lazy - you should have engaged people to at least generate some useable content) while at the same time giving me the feeling that you were buddying up with Void. You were scum.
Jon is a newbie. A newbie who did some stupid stuff that seemed pretty off. I personally think I do an okay job at reading newbies, so I decided to push him. A newbie under pressure is much easier to read. Basically, you were scummier, but I wanted Jon to reply to me before I moved my vote, so I left it on him with the intention of moving off later.
And only now the vote? After the wagon got more steam than the fricking Industrial Revolution? Hell no, way too convenient, way too thoughtful, way too fabricated.
My vote had nothing to do with steam. Jon replaced out so there was no point continuing to pressure him. Thus, my vote moved to you. I actually did write up a post moving my vote to you earlier, but decided there was no rush. Jon replaced out, and it wasn't until Iso posted a votecount that I remembered I hadn't actually made that post.
Anyway, your wagon sucks and I highly doubt anything useful is going to come of analyzing it. Like swishh, you were just scummy. Easy prey for both scum and town alike.
By the way, me following Rhand (and vice-versa) has been a joke since the beginning of this game. Asenion is scum all on his own.
Also, where's Tom? Prod please!

This is so very town-Void.
Because not every player's flip has an impact on every other player's alignment...? swishh flipping town doesn't make me think "Asenion looks more ______ now."
Void has been giving off town-Void tells (namely snappiness and acquiescing to his own lynch for the sake of the town), and this claim solidifies it.
Also, given that this is a 14-player game, I highly doubt Tom and Void are both scum.

I still would like you to honor my request and give me your thoughts.
I have a pretty good townread on Asenion based on him playing much better than he did in Cyberspace and Ataghan.
I could see him as scum if and only if he's taking this game seriously because he's scum.
I could see them as scum together if TMCT flips scum.
See this is why we let people claim. Every once in a blue moon the mod sweeps in and confirms them town.
See above, but I believe that everybody should have a chance to claim before lynch. I just believe that 9/10 times the claim should hold no sway. But I hold out hope for the 1/10 like we had here.
At this point either reveal it or we should lynch Macius. He is by far the scummiest now that kosakosa has been blessed by Mod.
I don't want to play these games where we are holding off on lynching somebody because you'll eventually present proof they are innocent.

Vote Macius
I'm playing better because I feel that I have to in order to win this game. It didn't matter in Cyberspace and in Ataghan I was just trying to establish meta and/or get used to everyone.

And I don't understand how you holding back info for day 2 will do us any good.
Ok, now that's BS.
Unvote, vote Asenion
Seppel you aren't helping anything by doing this I can prove he is town, but I'll say later. Unless you can prove otherwise Macius should be the lynch today as everything about him screams scum. And it isn't noob acting like scum stuff this is classic scum stuff that comes from a scummy mindset such as OMGUSing everyone that voted him to voting for himself and joining his wagon to trying to just straight WIFOM in response to his wagon.
I've played too many games with you to just trust you because you are Seppel.
It's just a shame I haven't thought about a minor detail about it, but meh. One week to the deadline, we don't have much time left toDay.
My overall analysis on my wagon:
I don't remember you "knowing" that I was scum at all. Furthermore, I'm scum but you don't place your vote on my wagon because...? Oh yeah, to wait until it gets enough steam. Let's play the sit-on-the-fence game!
And only now the vote? After the wagon got more steam than the fricking Industrial Revolution? Hell no, way too convenient, way too thoughtful, way too fabricated.
I'll be voting you by the end of this post.
GMan's vote seems ok. But just for the sake of it FoS Guardman
I don't know what to think of TMCT's vote, but the stuff below makes me
I like this.
FoS TMCT
Post-town confirmation:
Stardust's votes Asenion because... Rhand's doing it? Like, REAL? Can we lynch him now please?

This is bull, as town you're already a prime NK target for being a good player. If you have some sort of self-protection as you breadcrumbed and really wanted to be NK'ed, you wouldn't have breadcrumbed it. Stop doing this.
I think that's all for now...
...Wait, almost forgot something.
Vote Stardust
