@Seppel: well, I don't think Iso would be bastard enough to forward a player-created message (as Arian's role in Ataghan) if that message contained a fake alignment on it. Testing your alignment with that is dumb, obviously your job would have to be to report it to us, regardless of alignment.
Any comments on it, Rhand?
If Iso gives someone the ability to send someone else a message, then he has to send the message, doesn't he? It's not Iso who is the bastard when that message contains a lie.
...which actually reminds me. @Tom: could you please attempt a Daykill on Stardust? Just to check if you're indeed one-shot. While you do it, please claim name and flavor.
That won't accomplish anything: he already used his shot today if he has one.
Of course it will. If he kills someone, he has lied about being one-shot when faced with W_G's kill immunity. Improbable I know, but it won't hurt.

Yes, but in regards to Ataghan, Zindabad actually filtered the contents of a player-sent message in order to avoid screwing up the spirit of the game, because in his view, game-related affirmatives coming from a mod via PM have to be absolutely trustful.
It is simply wrong to have a scum role where they can sent a player messages through the mod with whatever content they want. That would make us lynch you and, when you flipped town, Seppel. It's bastardry at its nastier level and it completely ruins the fun of the game and I believe from the bottom of my heart that Iso wouldn't resort to that in his games.
I received a PM from Iso that says Rhand is not town. There's a small amount of flavor about receiving an anonymous tip, and then the result below that in bold, so I'm taking it as fact.
Why not send it to Kosa, who knows. Probably someone trying to determine my alignment by what I do with the information.
See the bolded. Iso does hint to it not coming from the mod but from someone else.

We need to massclaim. Whoever sent you this must die.
Now this is a terrible reaction. Unless you are the cop, that is.
Tom won't be able to fire his shot twice in one day even if he is indeed multi-shot. You'll have to wait until toMorrow to test that.
Derp you're right. We'll see toMorrow, then.
My reaction to massclaim is to create a dichotomy. Whoever claims to have sent that message will tie himself to me and be proven scum when I flip.
This will accomplish nothing as whoever sent that message can simply keep quiet about that part of their role (particularly if he/she is scum). Your reasoning is bad here. I don't like bad reasoning regarding massclaims.

I have a hard time believing someone would cop Rhand in this game. Therefore, I find it highly unlikely that the message sent to Seppel has any basis in reality. I think it's sort of like the messages of Deitriptychos, where you could say anything you want to the goddesses regardless of reality.
As it is pretty much likely that the person who sent the message it the same one who got the scum result on you (A.K.A. the fricking cop), no, I don't want a massclaim nor a claim from him/her.
Just claim, Rhand. You'll eventually reach L-2 and we don't have time to lose.
If that person doesn't claim the message, it shows that what it says isn't true.
WIFOM at it's worst.
Not when we agreed that it should be claimed.
I have not agrred to this. You asking for the person to out the information does nothing at this point except reveal information about a Role. You're fishing again and this time for someone that is an investigative type Role.
Whoever sent the PM do not claim it. Your Role is not worth it unless Rhand is Town barring weird curcumstances.
Eh, Seppel doesn't pull this as scum. He's too genuinely interested in getting reactions.

I feel really conflicted over Tom because I can't tell whether he has multiple shots or not. I think this will be the game I try to catch up on today because I really don't have a good direction anymore.
At least we now know for certain that Rhand is town.
Behaviorally, I was positive that Rhand was town, but my gut was bugging me about him because he wasn't as bubbly as I remember him. So I needed a serious reaction from him.
And in response he proposes a massclaim? Yeah, not scum. A scum would go on the defensive -- doubt the validity of the message, think it was a gambit, or say "I don't know how that's possible because I'm town."
Rhand didn't care about defending himself -- he wanted the blood of the message-sender.
@Void: I know he is. I'm voting him out of spite while we can't get our fricking asses together to lynch Tom because he's stalling or switch the lynch towards Stardust or W_G because Tom is stalling.
Proposition
Everyone should list there lynching order for their top 3 scum suspects. Whomever has the most votes should be our lynch for toDay. I want to get this going early so that we still have time to discuss everything that may be posted. We have 6+ days until deadline.
Seppel, you're wrong. I'm still working on my reread, but it's given me lots to think about and some new direction. Same as in Giant Robots, your responses to me generally felt like I was arguing with a townie. Regardless of your distractions, I do believe you're town.

If Seppel is scum, then what he just did was a master move.
I'm just good at baiting people for reactions.

I leave for an hour, come back to find two pages. Legit.
Updated thoughts:
I'd missed the post where Seppel had "gotten a message," which, with the subsequent posts while I was gone explains his sudden "reversal" on Rhand. Got it.
I /barn Void's plan, and think that at worst it could provide some direction to the game. While Seppel almost certainly isn't scum, the confusion that he's bringing with him this game is of great assistance to the scum. Some more order would be beneficial for me, at least -- I keep getting lost in the gambits and jibes and chuckleheadedness (yeah!). It's a lot of fun, don't get me wrong -- but from my perspective, it does little to help us actually sort everything out.
My top 3: Tom, Stardust, Wheat.
Stormblind is a close 4th (and indeed, if he is not replaced, I feel that he's a good choice). The other three get the nod, though, because they've actually been here and posting. If the Stormblind-slot is scum, then I'm sure that'll turn up in a Day or two.

Then why were you voting Seppel in the first place?
Because I thought he was scum. I had what I thought was a decent case. His responses to that case and the follow-up led to me believe that he was probably town. His play against Rhand just now solidified that, and at an opportune time, I'd say, given that Rhand's wagon will hopefully now not distract from more meaningful leads.

With 10 alive, it takes 6 to lynch.
