Were you the towniest town to ever town a town? Not by a long shot.
@Bold: Are you Sir Mu?
No?

Funny you say that...have you read the spectator chat? Because Wheat did say that once AG died Day 1 that any chance of the setup being swingy like he thought it would be went out the window.
Yeah, but I can't understand how you could make that assumption D1.

Lol, me too.
Sorry for lynching you Iso. Learn from the mistakes, they say.
lol, my avatar is incidentally from Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu, which also was mentioned in the scumchat.
@Iso
Were you onto me before my claim? Between your line of questioning on D3 and D_V flipping town you concerned me.
I suspected something from scum chat when both you and Cyouni changed avatars around the same time, I'm surprised that suspicion was actually correct. I'm too used to crazy theories that are completely wrong, weird to see them be true.

Yeah, I reaaally didn't like your answers when I found your inconsistent posts, but I kept it to myself because I figured you guys would kill me off if I not only let on that I realized one of the towniest scum was scum but for also being the Cop.

The most confusing one is Kurisu's hair colour, which switched from brownish (chestnut) to red, for no apparent reason.
Also delved into attractor fields a lot more - Okabe goes off carrying out these suicidal plans because he's sure he's not going to die. This is also true in the end, where he uses his own blood to create the Kurisu scene. He does it knowing he's not going to die, because he dies in 2025 in that world line.
Finally, homicidal Nae is the last major thing that was removed.
Speaking of, an odd thing to add in was a time limit on the time leap machine - it couldn't go back more than 48 hours at a time. So when Moeka-line Nae stole it in 2025 and went back to 2010 to kill Moeka, she did so 48 hours at a time. Keep in mind that she wouldn't have had the time leap machine within easy reach each time. That's a lot of leaping.
Words can't express how much love for you making me watch it. Are there any sequels/spin offs?
I was hoping you'd like it.
A movie spin-off just aired 5 days ago in Japan. It might be some months before it appears in the US at all unless you can speak Japanese though.
There's also Chaos;Head, the prequel, and Robotics;Notes, the sequel. They're mostly sequel by virtue of being in the same universe though, though some characters and concepts reappear. Chaos;Head (as I understand it; I haven't yet watched it) is about a boy with a 2D harem (Sound familiar?) whereas Robotics;Notes is about a girl trying to finish construction on a giant robot.
Of the three, S;G is far and away the most highly rated. R;N has received decent reviews; I think that they're artificially deflated a little due to people comparing it to Steins;Gate. C;H has received the worst reviews of the bunch, but I can't attest to whether I agree since I haven't yet watched it.
Also there are visual novel versions of each story. At the very least, as Cyouni pointed out, the S;G VN goes into more sidepaths.
From what I'm told, the Robotics;Notes anime cuts out a pretty significant portion of the connections that were present in the original VN. Eventually, I'll get myself a copy and find some way to read it.
Steins;Gate does the same, but I'm guessing a lot less is lost in translation.
Chaos;Head, however...That's a mess. Consider that it's the same size as Steins;Gate and Robotics;Notes. Now consider that it's only a 12-episode anime compared the the others' 24-episodes.
That's what you get in the anime - a rushed mess. It was difficult to understand, and I read the original visual novel.
The premise of Chaos;Head is delusions manifesting into reality. The main character is a shut-in who spends the vast amount of his time playing some MMO (and yeah, has his 2D harem). I was considering making a game off of it, by the way - the delusion trigger system's pretty interesting.
Judging by the pics that Cyouni put in I totally thought Nae was going to be like the leader of SERN or something. I was getting pretty confident when we had that FN episode, especially when Mr. Braun took the IBN.
Also, I love the ending from a fan standpoint, but from a literary standpoint I'm a bit less impressed. I wonder what would happen if the show stopped at around Episode 22 after Okarin undoes the final D-mail. But man, from a literary standpoint, that deus ex machina wasn't the best. Again, from a fan standpoint, I love the ending and I would hate for it to end at around Episode 22, but still. Something to think about.
I'll probably check out Robotics;Notes and play the VN. It's on iOS devices.

That's what the VN originally handles. There are endings for:
Suzuha, Faris, Rukako, Mayuri, and Kurisu
All of them need to be finished to access the true ending (aka anime ending). That pic of Nae comes from the Moeka extra section.
By the way, the Kurisu ending is a royal pain. I didn't even finish one of the requirements for it my first time around.
The true ending comes off of the Kurisu ending - literally everything's the same till the credits, at which point they get a call from Suzuha. And the credits rewind to accommodate chapter 11.
Oh, and one thing: the Phone Microwave's disassembled at the end of every route.
By the way, the Kurisu ending is a royal pain. I didn't even finish one of the requirements for it my first time around.

I'm glad they kept that in the anime. In fact I'd wager that it might be the single greatest moment in Steins;Gate.
He's made the hardest decision possible, deciding to save Mayurii at the cost of Kurisu. He's come to terms with it.
And then Suzuha appears. That means time travel still happens, which means Mayurii may still be at risk. He might have changed nothing, except that Kurisu dies too. But there's also the hope that Suzuha brings, and that they ultimately realize: Just this once, everybody lives.
Oh, and one thing: the Phone Microwave's disassembled at the end of every route.
The OP clearly states you are wrong. Also R;N isn't canon because SERN controls the world and doesn't let them build big robots.

It just so happens that character is by far the most amusing in that game.

I never read very far but it looked similar.
