The game is not being dumbed down. Control is doing fine; Draw-Go is not the only kind of control. Aggro is doing fine; Red Deck Wins is not the only kind of aggro. Creature combat is an important core concept and belongs in every color. Mythic rarity is not destroying the game. People whine too much for no good reason. Magic is more popular than ever, so keep calm, brew some decks and play some damn cards.
I'm pointing out the rules. I like following rules.
If you look at the only other game I've finished, I point out on several occasion where I think some rule was not being followed. I was also wrong at times, but hey.
And you haven't really defended your own claim of having an HM either.
I can guess the reason, but I'd like your side of the explanation.
That's what we tried to do in FF mafia. It didn't end up working too well because there was nothing to enforce it. I didn't want to attack someone I thought was town just because they broke the rules, so anyone ballsy enough would just attack whoever.
It's still a good thing to have in place, even if it's not strictly enforced. Even if we only use it in the sense of: I think Players A & B are scummy, and you think Players B & C are scummy, so we agree to attack B since it's someone we both suspect and there is more consensus on that player.
Or could have been a scum gambit to earn town points.
Cause, as you pointed out, his intentions were pretty obvious.
Well, of course, but that's true for anything, though I think it's an unlikely scum play in this case as it would be risky, subtle, and gain minimal town cred if it even worked. -The point is it clearly wasn't a scum-slip, as some have implied, and therefore not auto-attack worthy by any means.
On that note, since every misplaced attack will have lasting consequences, I think we should be significantly more cautious with our moves here, not more trigger happy than usual. -After all, there is no harm in waiting for reactions, responses, and more info before pouncing on someone, but the same can't be said for the contrary.
I believe I have discovered something great, that will seriously help town.
Attention everyone (particularly newer players, who might not know yet when stuff is important or when it is a joke). If you have gained a HM, it is important that you soft claim that now or forever hold your peace. Kthxbye.
"Hey I found something, let's soft-claim this" is not a slip, it's a trap. -The deliberate intention behind it could not be more obvious.
Personally, I felt as though it was much too obvious a trap for anyone to fall for.
Then again, even experienced players such as Iso have been known to go into a game not knowing town PRs existed despite it being explained in the OP (this was off-site).
I'm not going to hold it against him, but I just can't shake the feeling that it was a scum gambit.

So, I suggest we team up into groups of 6 and kill the other 6. (When we're down to 7, if we haven't hit scum, we divide into 4 v 3.) If we do hit scum in the 6, then we split up into 3 v 3 and kill 3. If we get down to 5 with only one dead scum, then we analyze the battles and go from there. Eventually, I suspect it will fall to 3 players left alive and then we use battle analysis to catch the last scum.
Who's game?
I think you're confused about what game we're playing. Lay off the nostalgic music a little? We gain nothing by thinning everyone's hp willy-nilly.
That's what we tried to do in FF mafia. It didn't end up working too well because there was nothing to enforce it. I didn't want to attack someone I thought was town just because they broke the rules, so anyone ballsy enough would just attack whoever.
So the plan didn't work well because people didn't follow it? I'm not hearing a reason not to work together here. The plan didn't fail, the players did.

I got a PM asking about Sleep and if it was permanent. I decided that since it was unclear about whether or not sleep was permanent via the description that I should clarify that sleep does have a time limit in thread for everyone.
I don't plan on interfering (and I don't see this as interfering), but due to the complexity of the rules I have no problems answering questions like this.

On Tordeck @Seppel&Iso: What makes you so sure he's scum? Why couldn't he be an over-aggressive townie?
He took the bait on DRey. Because he chose a move that increases his attack power instead of choosing any of the more defensive or investigative moves.
I asked because you two both attacked him one after the other. Basically locked your "votes" on him for the day. So I wanted to make sure you had more to go on than I had noticed.
I don't feel confident in my ability to read Tordeck from the few games I've read him in. So your reasoning helps there too.
No one attacks tordeck anymore. There's much things to discuss still.

That's not exactly conclusive by itself. I mean, I took the most aggressive move available, plus Tordeck is Tordeck. -Though, I have no idea what else Leafeons have access to, so maybe it was a more anti-town choice for him? You would know better than me. -And no, I'm not asking for clarification on that, if you think it was a scummy selection, I trust your judgement there. And that's certainly supported by his in game actions.
I'm okay with Tordeck being knocked out now. -I'd love to do it myself for the XP, but I think we benefit more from me waiting until later in the day to do anything.

Is your idea of "reedeming it" is throwing fuel on the fire to make stupid town shoot me? Because that's what I'm seeing.

Get rid of the dots. Tada.
Move 1: Tordeck
Hmm... okay, I think I can believe you saying that as a trap.
I can't use the [] characters on my phone. They don't exist.
I'm fine with this and will take your word for it.

With DRey's plan foiled in one post, I saw the chance to redeem it.
Without explaining further: Yes.
Mythic rarity is not destroying the game. People whine too much for no good reason. Magic is more popular than ever, so keep calm, brew some decks and play some damn cards.
Looked to me like we caught scum with it.
