@Zionite: It is up to you to decide whom is the MVP for each side. If you don't want to, no one else should either.
I think everyone put in their best effort for their team, and the most successful in doing so don't deserve all the credit. The most well-played games came from Zelderex, you, DRey and zindabad. Zelderex can be credited with two direct scum kills and contributed a lot to the town win. Cyan drove conversations and without a doubt saved the town from a loss/draw Day 4. DRey had a chance to go completely solo after his team bombed out, and he stuck it out well. I can imagine a scenario where he wasn't killed and made it to the final day. As someone else already said, he seemed so town the other team killed him. zindabad also probably would have survived longer without the cop result; he played a good game and did well coordinating with Ged (sometimes). The only mistake Ged made was his Day 4 play, which made it obvious he was not of the town mindset.
So if I were choosing, Cyber-Pirate MVP would go to DRey, Vertigal to zindabad, and town MVP would be a tossup between Cyan and Zelderex.
1st thing, can someone tell me WTF i did that the cyber pirates wanted to kill me N1. Did kill me N2 and the vertigal nillified me that same night? Like seriously WTF? While I realize I was attempting to be more active then i had been in the past I felt my posting was still the same as my normal scummy as hell regardless of alignment meta.
Nope, I had you pegged as a PR so I wanted you dead.
Also, DRey, I think you're getting better as scum! So congrats on that.

Yes, I would. And yes, you're just going to say 'omg what a hypocrite', but it is not hypocrisy. My intent would be to better the overall mafia gamestate for everyone. Artifice' intent was just message board masturbation.
I would vote to get rid of anyone who acted in that fashion when they should have known better. It was irritating enough that you were like 'on my honor I'm not scum blahblah', but you could get the benefit of the doubt that one time, because you didn't know any better.
Also, DRey, I think you're getting better as scum! So congrats on that.
I don't think so, I'm actually pretty good as scum (better than town imho). You are working on false premises my friend, I didn't really play bad in Osteria (bussed from the ground for no reason), Clue (replaced in at L-2 in the most complex game I've ever played without daytalk and no way to know what abilities my parters had used) or Kitteh (unfairly modkilled).

The game is not being dumbed down. Control is doing fine; Draw-Go is not the only kind of control. Aggro is doing fine; Red Deck Wins is not the only kind of aggro. Magic is more popular than ever, so keep calm, brew some decks and play some damn cards.

My point is that I was the best scum player in that game. Yeah my team lost, but that doesn't mean I play bad as scum because of that, I tried my hardest and we almost won it. Go ask Zinda, AI, TIM and Gdan if they suspected me while they were alive.
Anyway, you are free to continue thinking I'm bad as scum. That probably has a good chunk of importance in the fact I tend to fool people as scum.

I think JD is the town MVP in this game and DRey is the scum MVP. Despite a bad opening gambit and his team being destroyed all around him, DRey managed to come back from that and make it almost to end-game. The only reason he lost when he did is because the Vertigal chose a strange target to shoot.
JD is the reason the town found GED at the end and his logic prevented the town from mislynching WoD in LyLo.

In response to me defeating the town in a Perfect Scum Victory in Avatar Mafia:
Jd did a great job of appearing town throughout the game, but that is all(no offense intended, jd). He had absolutely nothing to do with Ged being found out as scum. Like literally zero. And he definitely did not prevent the town from mislynching WoD at the end. One of the last things that he said on the subject(before Ged was lynched) was that he thought Ged and WoD were BOTH scum.
Sometimes I wonder how you can read the same information that everyone else has and come to conclusions that clearly never actually happened, or even came close to happening.
This is not an attempt to disparage you, jd. Your posts seemed to come from an extremely town standpoint for the vast majority of the time that you were in the game, and that can be hard to do, especially when you are relpacing in.
Awesome game and flavour Zionite, I'm really sad I couldn't get involved
Where did you get the pictures for the roles and day scenes?
I shamelessly stole them from various sources like Deviant Art and /r/cyberpunk. I probably should have sourced them all but that would have been a lot of work, plus I believe a non-commercial purpose like a mafia game classifies as fair use. I think they helped a lot by conveying mood.

They certainly conveyed the mood excellently. Clearly, I have not been looking hard enough for Cyberpunk images.

Well, he was right about "we better lynch confirmed scum Zinda than try our luck finding the last CP" he even provided good math to prove it was a good option.

If there had actually been a CP alive, it would definitely not have been a better idea to lynch Zindabad on the day when we lynched Ged. That would have thrown the town into a complete crapshoot where we have to hope and pray for a crosskill, otherwise we are dead as soon as the day begins. And the town had no way of knowing that there were no CP left. We made the abundantly obvious conclusion that there was still one remaining, and based our information off of that.

Except that we had no idea that Ged was scum while we were having the discussion in question, so why would we just RB randomly? As soon as we thought he was scum, we lynched him. Correctly.
I wonder how long it is going to take you to realize that I was the one responsible for Ged getting lynched, not jd. I actually have no idea where you could come to that conclusion. Before I realized that Ged was probably scum, only WoD was voting him, and no one took that seriously because we were getting ready to lynch WoD anyway.
FTR I would've never voted for WoD, but then again, I was so inactive during that day that he might've been lynched without me.
Definitely agree with Zionite on Cyan or Zeld for town mvp. Zeld's night actions were very solid, and not even just because he hit scum, but because they were good targets. It's one thing to shoot blindly and get lucky, but they were people that were coming under suspicion, and even if they flipped town would've given good info.
And it was JD that recognized Ged was scum and pursued the lynch. Lynching Ged was the town's best chance to win. That is why I nominate JD for MVP.
Read D4 again; Cyan was the main one pushing for Ged. Not saying that JD had nothing to do with it, as Cyan was also pushing for WoD earlier (and JD didn't join that wagon IIRC), but JD only voted for Ged later.
Zeld did use his vigilante power extremely well. I wish that he had played slightly less scummy in the thread so I wouldn't have felt required to shoot him. He was definitely a large asset to the team.

DRey submitted the kill in the Quicktopic (and I did say this was okay). So when I made up the notes for the night actions, I forgot I had read DRey's action earlier that day (and the Quicktopic wasn't highlighted) so it wasn't included. Once DRey reminded me I had to remedy the situation as fairly as possible, since it was my fault and not his. I felt this way was the best way to do it. Any other fix seemed too broken to use.

tordeck, you have no idea how bad I felt doing that after day started.
Oh no Zion I do. Mistakes happen and it sucks. I was just unhappy by how it all went down. And when I first brought it up I was a bit pissed. not just at you but at the game and RL and so if what I said in the QT came off too harsh I apologize.
Yeah, in the future I'm just going to be accepting straight up PM submitted actions so there is no confusion. That's the best way to handle it.

No, I did nothing to prevent the WoD lynch as we were still working under the assumption there was a CP left at that point.
I had a line of questioning going with ged that started before his over defensive statement, based on his town/scum list d4, but I didn't draw that line of reasoning to its conclusion until after the wagon had already started.
But I think it was another point against him at least.
Dragon trying to give me credit for this wagon is ludicious.
You did a great job though, jd. The doubt I had toward you at the end was based off of the notion that SOMEONE had to be CP(and I just didn't see whom else it could be) and the weird manner in which you and Mzztr presented your claim.
Behaviorally you were thoroughly town, just like in grim batol.
