Ready to eat humble pie, Artifice? I've been right about every single thing I've done this game, and you're never going to hear the end of it.
Contrary to popular belief, sure. I'm a big fan of giving credit where it is due, and in this game you were right. Also, apparently, Emo was wrong for buddying you instead of keeping you and I at each other's throats. Eventually your message became clear. Glad I kept asking you to repeat it
And I did my part, even if it was being wrong

Do you have something to add to the discussion? Would you advocate a different lynch? Do you have information on night events? If there's extra info, you should dump it before Night hits (if we have a Night).

"Discussion." You guys lynched AE without the input of three of the players in the game. What discussion is that? Please don't flatter yourself into thinking that was in any way acceptable. I shouldn't have to "dump" "extra info" because I shouldn't be coming into a thread and finding someone ALREADY LYNCHED.
I'm amused that [Shalako], of all people, are talking about terrible reasoning. "Hey, PF's RVS daykill must be serious, therefore I should shoot him to prove that I have a daykill!"
"As a child my family's menu consisted of two choices: take it or leave it." - Buddy Hackett
You all quickly decide that Archmage is the one to be hanged today. Almost as fast as you arrived at the decision you hang AE, his only words being "I am not scum."
As you bring down his body you all start to search his body and find stuff that belongs to a doctor. Horrified you may have indeed rushed to judgement you search his body again to find out he had a letter in his shirt pocket from none other than Zajnet. Much to your relief, you find he is indeed the Mafia Doctor, having been bribed to help scum.
Lou Costello: "My father used to hit me with a baseball bat, my brother use to hit me with a baseball bat, my sister used to hit me with a baseball bat, and my mother hit me with a tennis racket."
Bud Abbot: "A tennis racket?"
Lou Costello: "Yes, she didn't like baseball"
Some choices aren't really choices.
"Bribed"...? Oh lordie. So maybe my Day 1 reads weren't as off as I thought? Maybe this explains the "Mad Gunman" role? Some sort of recruiter?

My Clan Is Dead.... Long Live The Izzet! Johnny, born and raised. Always lookin' for the Next Level Combo. Thanks to Bornover of FHLS for the banner!
Godfather: You are the mafia godfather. You are a well respected member of the town, but behind the curtains, you control a powerful crime syndicate.
Passive Ability Kill Immune: Given your status in the mafia, you are a very well protected Person. Therefore you are immune to all kills directed at you.
Passive Ability Inspection Protection: You are a well respected member of the community despite your involvement in crime. When a cop inspects you, you will show up as INNOCENT to them.
Infiltrator: Sneaking is your game, you are an expert at it, and always have been since you were a kid hiding from your parents.
Passive Ability Sneaking: When a watcher or tracker attempt to target you, you will show up as doing nothing that night.
Twin: You have a twin within the town. Seperated at birth, yhey do not know you exist, but with a bit of research, you know they exist.
Passive Ability Auto Bus: Any actions targeting you will instead target your twin and the opposite is true for any actions targeting your twin. This effect obviously ends when one of you is killed. Your twin will be revealed to you upon confirmation of your choice.
You will receive your buddies as all scum selections have been made
Mafioso: You are just a standard mafia goon. You have no abilities of note except your skill to deceive the town.
Cheater: You have contacts within the town. A lot of contacts. So many in fact that they come to you each night with information on the town. Sadly their memory is not top notch, but what can you do?
Passive Ability Role Cop: At the beginning of each day, including the first, you will receive the role PM of a random person within the game. You will not know WHO has the role though. It may also be the role of one of your teammates.
Mad Gunman: You are one angry man. You HATE it when you lose. I mean how can this town find out who you are? They can’t be that smart. Well you’ll show them if they get you.
Passive Ability Lynch Kill: When you are killed, you will randomly shoot someone on your wagon. This can include any teammates who may happen to hop on.
You will be informed of your buddies as soon as all scum choices have been made.
Mafioso: You are just a standard mafia goon. You have no abilities of note except your skill to deceive the town.
Doctor: While you may be a doctor, you don’t like how things are going in this town. Normally you follow your oath to protect anyone who needs it, but given enough money, you are more than willing to turn on your town.
Active Ability Protect: At night, you may protect someone, granting them immunity to all kills directed towards them.
Roleblocker: Sometimes, actions just don’t need to happen. You know how to stop them from happening. Given this knowledge it is also hard to stop you given these... methods.
Active Ability Block: You can once per night block an active action from going off as normal.
Passive Ability Block Protection: Given your talents in stopping actions from working, you know how to prevent others from doing the same to you. You are immune to all Roleblock attempts.
You will be informed of your buddies as soon as all scum choices have been made.
Coward: Some people think you are cowardly, but in this situation, you may be the smart one. You have a special hiding place no one knows about, or at least you THINK no one knows about.
Active Ability Hide: Once per game at night, you may hide in that spot, making yourself immune to all actions against you.
Super Saint: Every town needs a man of the cloth. People respect you. In fact they respect you so much that if you were to somehow get lynched, people would flock to the one who dares lacks faith and lynch him as well.
Passive Ability Auto Lynch: If you are lynched, the person who throws the hammer will also be lynched along with you.
Crazed Fiend: You love your guns. You may like your guns a little too much though. Almost to the point that they think you are crazy. Maybe you are crazy. Either way, at least you get to use your guns, so it can’t be THAT bad, can it?
Active Ability One Time X Kill: Once per game, you may shoot a player killing them on the spot. You may use this ability during the game in thread or in PM at night.
Ascetic: Some people think you are unreadable. Others just think you have a poker face good enough to win the World Series of Poker. Either way, this un-readablilty makes you immune to all non kill actions taken against you.
Passive Ability Immunity: You are immune to all non kill ACTIVE abilities taken against you. This includes the good and the bad.
Townie: You are just a regular member of the town. You have no special powers to speak of, but you can still use your wits to find the scum and eliminate the threat against the town.
Townie: You are just a regular member of the town. You have no special powers to speak of, but you can still use your wits to find the scum and eliminate the threat against the town.
Townie: You are just a regular member of the town. You have no special powers to speak of, but you can still use your wits to find the scum and eliminate the threat against the town.
Radiant: You have a very radiant personality, one that everyone likes. It is so radiant in fact that even the actions of those who target you can reflect onto others in the town, whether you like it or not.
Passive Ability Radiant: Given your very radiant nature, any and all actions directed to you will be copied to another random player. If the action would receive a PM, you will receive a PM of the copied action.
Doctor: You are the town doctor, you are an expert at healing people who have been attacked or injured by others, or by their own mishaps. You are a busy man though so you can’t be with any one person all the time.
Active Ability Protect: At night, you may protect someone, granting them immunity to all kills directed towards them.
Roleblocker: You are the blonde bombshell. You know how to seduce your way into people’s hearts and keep them busy for a good long time. While you normally use this skill to get a free drink at the local pub, you now must use it to help protect others. Given your natural “talents” you also know how to stop others from doing the same to you.
Active Ability Block: You can once per night block an active action from going off as normal.
Passive Ability Block Protection: Given your talents in stopping actions from working, you know how to prevent others from doing the same to you. You are immune to all Roleblock attempts.
Bone Shaman: People have frowned down upon you for your practice of voodoo in the past, but it does have it’s benefits. You are very much in contact with the dead of the town. So much so that you have learned to channel the spirits of the dead back into the living. Sadly though to do this you need to be dead yourself.
Active Ability Raise Dead: Upon death you will have the ability to revive a player who has previously died. You will only have a 72 Hour window or end of current phase in which to do this though or the ability is lost forever.
Note Actual role in BLUE
Mystery Role(Bodyguard): You have an amazing skill, but you don’t know just quite what it is. Whatever it is, you hope that it will benefit the town in the end.
Active Ability Mystery: During the night, you may PM me to choose to use your action. Of course you do not know what it is, but maybe using it you can find out.
Sleeper Unlynchable: You have a latent ability that is not yet unlocked. This ability is tied to another player though, and once that player dies, you will be able to unlock this power from your psyche.
Passive Ability Awakening: Once the person you are tied to dies, your ability will awaken.
Secret Role (Kill Immune Townie): Something is different about you. You know you have an ability, but you have no clue as to what it is. You hope that in time you can find out just what it is.
Passive Ability Secret: While you are not sure WHAT your passive ability is, you know you have one. Maybe in time you can tell what it is.
One Shot Redirecter: Sometimes you just have to have something happen your way. You will go to great lengths to try and make this happen. Sadly though, you know you should not be doing this. In the end you have decided to just give it one shot and see what happens.
Active Ability One Shot Redirect: Once per game at night, you may redirect a players ability to another, including them self. The ability will then target the new player.
One Shot Motivator: You are a very motivated person, you have the type of personality that can help others do the same, you even took a class in how to be a motivational speaker. Your skills though are still a bit rough around the edges.
Active Action One Shot Motivate: Once per game at night, you may motivate someone, giving them an extra vote. You don’t know why this works that way, but it does.
One Shot Delayer: Sometimes the best things in life come to those who wait. You like to wait. You even like others to wait for stuff. You have decided to learn how to make people enjoy the slower pace of life, but given you are just learning how, you don’t feel confident to do this more than once.
Active Ability One Shot Delay: Once per game at night, you may choose to delay a player’s actions, causing them to go off the next night. Your target will not be notified of the delay.
You lurkers, need to realize how much mafia depends on active posting.
Toast, YOU NEEDED TO POST MORE. YOU NEED TO LURK LESS BECAUSE IT FELT LIKE YOU NEVER COMMITTED TO THIS GAME AT ALL.
Why? Because you have a responsibility to the players to play the game, or replace if you can't post frequently. One post per day is not too much to ask. It really isn't. If you can't do that, you should seriously consider replacing in future games where this is an issue. Just my two cents. I hate lurkers, especially those that don't step up and do the responsible thing if their activity just isn't there.
Zinda, you were in a similar position - although you did at least feel like you had a significant impact on the game when you were here, at least.

also, I was lying about my vengeful roleblocker role, haha. I was just an unblockable roleblocker.
I couldn't exactly claim that, though, after A_E claimed it, because that would have validated his claim that he had an identical role PM to me, and I knew, KNEW that two town doctors in a mini was too broken to even contemplate.
Artifice, all things considered, despite your seeming inability to take anything I said at face value despite the obvious logic behind it...I didn't hate playing with you anywhere near as much as I would have thought. I hated parts of what you did (The PM-structure argument you pushed, for example, was out of line - although it seems that this is already being dealt with in another forum) but if you don't get banned for your PM-quoting fiasco in that other game, I would play with you again. Sorry for my occasionally rabid outbursts. I play this game with my heart on my arm.
But yeah, A_E, your only blunder was claiming doctor. You fell right into my trap. You certainly were playing for the most part like a townie. Muahahaha.
Night 3 Actions
Toastboy - Redirect Infinis to Infinis
Wuffles - Block AE
Archmage Eternal - Kill Wuffles (BLOCKED)
@Wuffles: Actually considering the makeup of this game, your assumption was not THAT valid. Just look at some of the other PMs. There were quite a few "Duplicate" roles in this setup, only because of the fact you can not ensure that someone will take the sane choice (See: Arch)
I'm amused that [Shalako], of all people, are talking about terrible reasoning. "Hey, PF's RVS daykill must be serious, therefore I should shoot him to prove that I have a daykill!"

Sucks getting boned on technicalities. We should have won.
Um...Wuffles. I was the doctor. Told you I wasn't scum. Just played on their side is all.
I screwed up N1 forgeting about Archonoids claim. Should have taken him out.
I forget how to link the QT. Tan you wanna do it?
Pwnt.
I didn't care if you were mafia doc or whatever. There's no way Tanarin, an experienced mod, would allow there to be the possibility of two town doctors. Tanarin is way too experienced for that.
You were screwed the moment you walked into my trap
And infinis, that trap was terrible. It made me want to roleblock you instead of A_E that night. Claiming that was an awesome trap was just ridiculous. It didn't really prove anything. I've seen E_P get out of way, way worse than that.
BTW E_P. You really need to work on your QQing as mafia, bro. It's really bad sportsmanship.

I love how you paint this. Did we win? Was E_P my main suspect after that scummy hammer? Did it expose A_E as scum? Yes, yes and Yes.
I'm amused that [Shalako], of all people, are talking about terrible reasoning. "Hey, PF's RVS daykill must be serious, therefore I should shoot him to prove that I have a daykill!"

I didn't walk into any trap dude. I breadcrumbed early on what I was. To bad Shalako wasn't still alive when I falseclaimed supersaint as a choice. Might have helped me.
This game was really, really ****ty to be scum in. The town has multiple roles to prove their townie-ness in which is already hard and inherent to the design (I knew this going in), but the choices include A ****ING COUNTERCLAIM TO THE SCUM ROLE IN THE GAME. The town was pretty stacked against the scum by any measure, and seeing the roles laid out it's even more so. The scum abilities are all basic roles, and both of mine were watered-down scum roles while AE's role is impossible to claim. Only pinkfloyd had a decent role of the three. But the town? The town has A GODDAMN RESSURECTION.
Also, Iso, my meltdown was fake. I posted my role as is only to prove my scumminess and get lynched. The only way for the scum to win was for Wuffs to die from my role and AE protecting archonoid to confirm what his role was (doc). That would mean that AE was proven right (telling the truth), and had the slightest chance to win the game vs. absolutely none with A ****ING COUNTERCLAIM TO HIS ROLE. Seriously, that is ****ed up, tan & Ged.
I lol'd extremely hard when Wuffs brought up Crackhouse mafia (a game that was entirely broken and never even reviewed and I still hate with a burning passion). You want to know my role in that game from three years ago? When I died (as scum) the next NIGHT was skipped. Not day. Night. Worst role I have even seen conceived.
EWP:
Wait... you mean ****ing Shal could counterclaim me as well!?!? Who thought this would be OK!?
BTW E_P. You really need to work on your QQing as mafia, bro. It's really bad sportsmanship.
Yes, because in one game three years ago I rage quitted because it was the most broken game I've seen (and still is). When Xyre, Cyan, and arim sided with me after the game you should know that you're pushing a bad meta.
You lurkers, need to realize how much mafia depends on active posting.
inb4 an argument about lurking vs. inactive posting.
As usual, I agree, but I understand this is not how everyone plays. Eventually, when they had enough posts, I was able to see they were both (Toast and zinda) just passive town.
Artifice, all things considered, despite your seeming inability to take anything I said at face value despite the obvious logic behind it...I didn't hate playing with you anywhere near as much as I would have thought. Sorry for my occasionally rabid outbursts. I play this game with my heart on my arm.
As I said, E_P's only bad play IMO was helping you and I see eye-to-eye.
As to the role PM content, eh, I was "Townie" and needed any Vanilla claim to sound like my claim. Chalk it up to the same thing as your Doctor trap, just executed differently. Infinis and I were of a mind on this. The proof as they say is in the pudding, though: it didn't work effectively. But it did provide me with a town read on Infinis.
And to the overall sentiment of the rest: thanks. When you eventually explained to me what I couldn't possibly know (how Tanarin handed out roles to those with choices), that broke the game open for me.
*Note to Self: Go back and read the wagons Day 1*
But yeah, A_E, your only blunder was claiming doctor. You fell right into my trap. You certainly were playing for the most part like a townie. Muahahaha.
Eh, he claimed his role. Which was a good thing, given the info he had.
Also, I would like to join Wuffles in saying that your scum play has improved A_E. I didn't see it, when it has been readable in past games.
And infinis, that trap was terrible. It made me want to roleblock you instead of A_E that night. Claiming that was an awesome trap was just ridiculous. It didn't really prove anything.
Well, it proved Infi' was town, to me anyway, given what I know about him. Now you know it, too. We're doomed
BTW E_P. You really need to work on your QQing as mafia, bro. It's really bad sportsmanship.
I didnt read it that way. He's explained this, but I knew there was some method to his madness. Had to be.
Anyhow, GG guys.
@Tanarin: what do you think about your experiment?

Also, I want to be very clear here. The town played a good game. They truly did. Spotting pf early, zindabad spotting the entire scum team early, even Art's belligerence and Infinis' (well intentioned) gambits had a lot of benefit. The roughest time (before the came dissolved into roles pinning the scum down) was easily when I slipped up with Art Day 1. It was fairly intense.
My only regret is not taking the night target I wanted N1, because zindabad's reads were white hot this game.
@Artifice: Well I think all and all it went good. Kinda sad at some of the mod gaming, especially considering the setup of the game. I did get a laugh at Zinda's theory though that scum chose their roles AFTER town did.
As for the choices I would have made in each role, here is how I would have gone:
Mafia:
Twin - All in all, Twin is the best misinformation role. Not only does it save you a kill, but anyone inspecting you will in the end see the result with your name but your twin's result. Same goes for if someone targets the twin (They see the twins name but the buddy's result)
Cheater - Info is info, even if it is random and not knowing who it belongs to. It can also help set up for false claims.
Roleblocker - Always preferred a RB in the scum position
Crazed Fiend - The extra lynch is always a good thing.
Townie/Townie - Town has nothing to hide, but ascetic would make me worried for a role swapping/vote removal ability on the scum
Townie - No choice here
Townie - While Radiant is a strong ability, I would rather not risk the chance of a double kill.
Bone Shaman - needless to say, the ability to bring back a CONFIRMED town on a mislynch is always a good thing.
Mystery Role or Sleeper Unlynchable - Both are semi-confirmable in a setup where there is a chance of a tracker or watcher.
One Shot Redirecter - Being able to redirect an action can come in handy, either as a self check in case you have a townie that is not cooperating or scum you want to shoot himself.
As far as the EP claim, Yes he had the problem of a possible counterclaim on Shalako, but at the same time, going into claims, if Shalako was still alive, he would have most likely been before him. Also if you all noticed, most role PMs fit into a sort of pattern, if I was in AE's shoes, i would not have claimed doc (Though he was committed to the claim at that point.) Instead I would have claimed something like a faith healer if I wanted to stick with the doc claim, or would have gone with a no choice Townie "selection".
Also note that unlike most games you will see, chosen games are balanced different, you NEED redundancy in the games for the most part, even if you have to either go to direct Role choice duplication or using weaker but similar roles. The fact that I, as the mod, give part of the control to the players means that in the end, the town and scum set the final power level of the game and thus how the game plays out. Myself and the reviewer can only do so much to balance the game before letting the players have at it.
Would I run this again, most certainly. Heck, I would run this as a normal size game next time. I think though I would hand out more 2 and no choice role PMs as opposed to mostly 3 choices for everyone.
I'm not fine, but can see your point about redundancy. However, the only redundancy in the entire game is the scum and town have the same or similar roles making it impossible for any scum to be truthful in any role they claim as well as any of the choices they could pick. That is truly a bastard setup, triply so when the scum are given traditional red herring roles (mafia doc) that they should not fear at all claiming. The game as is is broken by a mass claim, and entirely so.
Are there really no repeats among the town? I didn't cross compare...
E_P has a point about this, if so. Creating dichotomies that are only scum/town will make the scum lose every time. I've been told this in my attempts to build games as well.
Perhaps the solution to this is a more fluid set-up, with roles filtering down through players, like zindabad(?) speculated?
Another solution would have been to offer a Cop and a weaker Cop, with that word (Cop) in the title as a balance. Then the scum have a chance on capitalizing on that Town/Town dichotomy to score a lynch.
Eh, I'm just spitballing here.

The setup was definitely very swingy. I'm not sure that's avoidable in a choose-your-role game; the setup was especially swingy given the particular roles. Day/Night 1 was just super lucky for us. Our one-shot vig targeted the Godfather, whom we successfully lynched, and then the Night 1 actions resulted in a Day 2 start with three live confirmed townies. It was pretty much a best-case start. A worst-case start, for comparison, would have Shalako firing on town, a town lynch, the NK targeting me and also killing a random townie, then the cop investigating the Godfather. That would lead to a Day 2 start with four dead townies and one falsely confirmed "town" - we would have already been at Lylo, and with misinformation working against us.

Okay, okay, fair enough. It's probably just that the last two games I've played with you as scum played out the exact same way, which is why the dichotomy was drawn.
But while you were right that Apok's crackhouse game was certainly a broken setup, I guess what I am saying is that if it were me, I would at least have played it out without quitting like you did. Then complained about it later.
@ PF: I would be bombing your mailbox if I were the player that replaced in after you replaced out in such suspicious circumstances mate, but at least you had the decency to realize your activity was affecting the game, and did the right thing.

It wasn't that suspicious, I just don't like you and didn't want to make the game frustrating for everyone else.

Oh, I faked the rage-quit. My goal was to use my ability to try and kill you.
This game was a lot of fun to watch. I forgot about the bulletproof on the godfather and was like OMG, Shalako won the game for the town with his sheer I have the balls to vig someone ten posts into the game before tanarin reminded me about the bulletproofness. Then I thought the town was going to lose because I thought they were going to fall for the whole scum bulletproof/lets just cop the godfather thing. In the end that helped to nab two scum, but if the cop result came through I don't see how the town could have won at that point.
As far as the set up goes. I think that it would have gone a long way as mentioned by some others if the scum didn't have as many matched roles. To be fair though, getting a freebie with the mafia doctor (i.e. no town doctor)would have been overpowered with a bulletproof godfather on the scum team.
On the whole post count thing, I do believe that it hurts the game when people don't post once a day, but understand why mods choose a 2/3 day per post limit as life does get in the way sometimes. It also hurts the game when people spam as it is difficult to pay attention to anything in the game other then what the spammers are talking about.
On a whole I feel like the game was played pretty well by both sides. There were also a couple of points in the game on both sides where I was sitting there going "Oh no, why is X doing that? That's terrible.".
I do hope that everyone playing the game had as much fun as I did watching it (a lot). =)
I appreciate the position, and I agree that lurkers are bad for games, but 1) I was prodded once by Tanarin - I posted within the limits set by the game, and when I did, I provided content. Please do not call me a lurker. There are so many people worse than me.
2) I said this before, but one of the reasons I didn't post so much was you. This game was not enjoyable, pretty much down to your single handed angsty, unnecessarily aggressive spam. It's not fair for you to take over a game like that, and I don't care if 'that's the way you play' - you should show as much conisderdation to other players as anyone else. That's my two cents. I hate *******s.
"You appreciate the position buuuuuuut I think the position is ridiculous and you should die in a fire" is what you just said. That's like saying "I don't mean to be rude, but you're an angsty, agressive *******". A bit insincere, don't you think? :/
As to the actual post content, looks like we will have to agree to disagree.
I think your posting was abysmal, and non-committal right from the start. I think that if one more person had lurked like that in this game then it would have been ruined. Zinda was also very lurky, but he had real-life circumstances.
I was out of line in a lot of the things I said this game, and I am happy to admit that. Shalako and Artifice got way too far under my skin, and it showed. But this comment regarding you is not one of them.
Post more in the next game, and I will have no problems whatsoever with you. Whether the same goes for you, well, that's your decision to make, not mine. Just make sure you're not taking it out on other, more enthusiastic players that expect everyone to actually post.
I'm glad we won, but I'm still serious about that rapid AE lynch. Yes, he was scum, as I knew quite well, but rushing things like that has cost me games before and there was just no reason to do it.
Wuffles was all over the place but I think it actually helped us because he was a little too wild to be scum. E_P played a good game but his tame reaction to the mass-claim pretty much settled him for me and AE was obvscum. Again.
As for my activity, I make no apologies. I did not lurk; I posted infrequently, and I helped to win this game for my team. I didn't take a lead role like I did in StarCraft but I put my analysis hours in and I got the job done.
Good game all. I enjoyed being vanilla and the relatively flavorless nature of the game helped cut a lot of the usual mod-gaming nonsense. Would play again.

@ Dan - Because as this game may have demonstrated, I am somewhat of an aggressive player. A role that does nothing in the game until I am removed from it, regardless of its power, does not interest me. Because as soon as I am dead in a mafia game, I don't care about the outcome. So I would never pick a role like that.
As for doctor, well, roleblocker is more aggressive. And this way, I can get A_E lynched when he false claims TOWN doctor. :3
@ cupcakes - Thanks for the support, TFF. I might not have been able to survive without you. That someone thinks I did the right thing not claiming those things means a lot.
I refused to claim because lol My role name + I SHOT SCUM and by my count I wasn't in danger of being lynched.(EP and Infinis both said they thought I was town)
And then Head-desked when EP and A.E. both claimed to have had the option of picking Saint.
For the Record I shot PF because I'm a one man policy Lynch.
Infinis' reads were spot on even if he did stab me in the back. My vote for MVP.
Also I NEVER would have caught A.E.
Wuffles: Did you even check if you could stop the Mafia kill before you took your role?
The chosen mechanic was really cool. It made you look through your games to see what ability would be the best for you.
If Tan is going to host another one of these I wanna get my In now

@ Shalako - I won't say anything except this - you badly, BADLY need to work on getting to a thought process which the rest of the town actually understands. Vezok, Deaths_Vampire, Tilde, they are the players that you remind me of.
Of course a roleblocker can stop the mafia kill, in the same way that a docblock can stop a mafia kill. (although, point of order, if A_E had chosen sensibly and picked the roleblocker this wouldn't have happened - as he would have been unblockable...LOL!)

I've been in a game where this wasn't true and the Town threw the game away. I guess I'm more wary of this.
And I did my part, even if it was being wrong

Told you I wasn't scum. Its Wuffles. If the game was over we wouldn't be waiting around for a lynch scene.
They hate us cause they ain't us.
Meh. If it's not you, we'll sort it out tomorrow. Either it's Wuffles or it's someone doing a double-reverse WIFOM of some sort.
"...a talisman against all evil, so long as you obey me."
"...a talisman against all evil, so long as you obey me."
The no NK was an option to get AE killed. But we have a path to victory, if we have made an error it will be one of Wuffles, TB or Zind as scum.
12-11? I'm losing track
THE TOWN HAS WON!
I will post up the setup in a few.

Mafia Results, Links, and Stats
You will receive your buddies as all scum selections have been made
Cheater: You have contacts within the town.
Passive Ability Immunity: You are immune to all non kill ACTIVE abilities taken against you. This includes the good and the bad.
Townie: You are just a regular member of the town. You have no special powers to speak of, but you can still use your wits to find the scum and eliminate the threat against the town.
Your target will not be notified of the delay.

...But seriously.
___________________________
also, I was lying about my vengeful roleblocker role, haha.
Muahahaha.
Archmage_Eternal - Protect Cyouni

Wuffles - Block AE
Archmage Eternal - Kill Wuffles (BLOCKED)
@Wuffles: Actually considering the makeup of this game, your assumption was not THAT valid. Just look at some of the other PMs. There were quite a few "Duplicate" roles in this setup, only because of the fact you can not ensure that someone will take the sane choice (See: Arch)

Um...Wuffles. I was the doctor. Told you I wasn't scum. Just played on their side is all.
I screwed up N1 forgeting about Archonoids claim. Should have taken him out.
I forget how to link the QT. Tan you wanna do it?
They hate us cause they ain't us.
They hate us cause they ain't us.
12-11? I'm losing track
I didn't walk into any trap dude. I breadcrumbed early on what I was. To bad Shalako wasn't still alive when I falseclaimed supersaint as a choice. Might have helped me.
They hate us cause they ain't us.
EDIT:
Yes, because in one game three years ago I rage quitted because it was the most broken game I've seen (and still is). When Xyre, Cyan, and arim sided with me after the game you should know that you're pushing a bad meta.
As usual, I agree, but I understand this is not how everyone plays. Eventually, when they had enough posts, I was able to see they were both (Toast and zinda) just passive town.
*Note to Self: Go back and read the wagons Day 1*
Eh, he claimed his role. Which was a good thing, given the info he had.
Also, I would like to join Wuffles in saying that your scum play has improved A_E. I didn't see it, when it has been readable in past games.
Well, it proved Infi' was town, to me anyway, given what I know about him. Now you know it, too. We're doomed
I didnt read it that way. He's explained this, but I knew there was some method to his madness. Had to be.
Anyhow, GG guys.
@Tanarin: what do you think about your experiment?

Millionaires, I hear it's good Music (Disclaimer: lyrics not PG-13) Thanks, CC
EDIT
Also, I want to be very clear here. The town played a good game. They truly did. Spotting pf early, zindabad spotting the entire scum team early, even Art's belligerence and Infinis' (well intentioned) gambits had a lot of benefit. The roughest time (before the came dissolved into roles pinning the scum down) was easily when I slipped up with Art Day 1. It was fairly intense.
My only regret is not taking the night target I wanted N1, because zindabad's reads were white hot this game.

I felt the game fun but not fair. I liked choosing my own role but I can see things (like 2 doctors) breaking the game.
LOL
But while you were right that Apok's crackhouse game was certainly a broken setup, I guess what I am saying is that if it were me, I would at least have played it out without quitting like you did. Then complained about it later.
@ PF: I would be bombing your mailbox if I were the player that replaced in after you replaced out in such suspicious circumstances mate, but at least you had the decency to realize your activity was affecting the game, and did the right thing.
It wasn't that suspicious, I just don't like you and didn't want to make the game frustrating for everyone else.
LOL
