Up front statement: I have not read this whole game.
That being said, I would like to complement Proph on his very zealous moderation. "Real-time" votecount and Mod-maintained vote history?? Wow.
Also, at a glance at the set-up/endgame post, very clean Mod posts. You really went all out! Well done, sir
Thanks. Here is what inspired me:
Real Time Votecount: So, I read Lifehacker. And they posted something about If This Then That. Now, I have never used the software, but judging by the name, I thought it would be cool to have automated votes using automation software, as I highlighted in this post.
There were too many logistical issues, so I took up the slack and updated it myself, since I check MTGS basically every day. Not a huge pain in the back.
Mod-mantained vote history: DRey PM'd me saying that not being able to see a history of votes made the town weaker. I was wondering about how my realtime vote count could stay alive until I realized that I could just record it myself. Once again, might be a really big problem in larger games but for this game it felt right.
Clean Posts: Flavor style was taken by KCC, whose basic I idolize along with my first game. I found out that I couldn't really write a string of flavor walls. Big props to her.
The setup posts were taken from the fact how much I dislike the OP stopped being updated mid game, which is like horrible if you like reading old games.
Yeah, for that reason, I tried to make my own Basic as clean-cut as possible - even put the last scum body in the OP. Makes it easier for us record keepers to keep track of things.

Okay, I am currently quite irked. We lost all three power roles without a single one having an effect on the game. Not only this, but I myself was almost sealing the game for us to lose. I am uncertain if this is due to a mistake on my part, or if I was right to be suspicious of GM. Input would be welcome, so, if I was making a mistake, I don't repeat it.
Also, on Oculus's claim, I read it as an obvious joke, and when I was making my own claim, debated doing something similar myself. This was my first ever mafia game, and I hadn't even read the game rules until after I had already received my role PM (My first post was essentially me indirectly saying "So, this is how the game works, right?" and anything that wasn't detailed in that post I was not likely aware of). Hence, I thought you were allowed to make a joke or be flippant about your role when making a claim. If I had known this was not the case earlier on, I likely would have acted a little differently.
Anyways, I am now seeking a new mafia game, to rectify this embarrassment.

Alright, here's the review of the game! Sorry if I seem a bit harsh at times, just giving feedback as though I were in the game. It'll be a long post, and I completely forgot who was what alignment when I did this - so here you go!
Crustacean Crusader was obvtown from his posting in the beginning of the game - and got a chuckle out of me, as well.
Brofaux sent up red flags with his "hay guise letz no lynch" early on Day 1. Never a good idea as town.
Gerrard's Mom's #31 reads really forced to me.
Oculus made a good noobish question post in #37 - distanced from the scum team. If he's scum, good play off of inexperience, if he's town, then good job getting town points - but bear in mind that this will never work again now that you've done it.
MirrorEntity's #38 reads terribly forced. "Derf, I'm town, guys! Really! Look at me trying not to lynch town!" Town should be focused on killing scum, not clearing town. Clearing town is just a bonus to scumhunting sometimes. Not a pro-town mindset.
Brofaux's #40 is just not playing the game at all. "Let's random lynch and do it on someone who said MIRRORENTITY might be scum!" It's total backwards logic and uses no behavioral analysis. Then he says "WELL MIRRORENTITY MIGHT BE SCUM but might not so never mind let's no lynch".
Balefire's #42 is also a non-post.
Really dislike Oculus's #44. Just doesn't sit right with me. I think it might just be too fence-sitty for my tastes.
I like KoolKoal's #48 because it parallels my view of Brofaux.
Megiddo's #49 is interesting - Especially if this actually IS Brofaux's standard play. But it's still terrible and I would advocate a policy lynch on Brofaux at this point even if he were town simply due to the fact that he's very bad at generating WIFOM and actually doing anything.
Gerrard's Mom's #52 sends up red flags - it doesn't comment on any on-going issues, just the one statement directed towards him from someone else I have my eye on.
Brofaux's #53 is another red flag - "Yes, absolutely what Megiddo said! I'm INTENTIONALLY acting scummy!" FFS, play the game or at least stop poorly generating WIFOM!
Post #56, at first glance is a good town post - but then, reading it again, it provides a non-stance on anything and suggests running people up to get a claim - again, not a pro-town mindset!
I like Pancho's #57.
I also like his paranoia in #61. Town read on Pancho.
I think around this point I would start ignoring CC's posts because he's not really doing much of anything but I think he's town and I probably wouldn't trust his reads at this stage, given his overall lack of anything.
Megiddo's #68 -
Okay #75 is just a little excessive. Why would somebody lie about their experience when it can be found out pretty easily?
Mirror's #76 - Pancho's paranoia reeks of noob town. Scum points for Mirror here.
Town points for Pancho's #80 for getting on to Mirror and Brofaux.
Post #82 - Scum points for Mirror for supremely vague suspicion on Pancho, one of my top two town reads right now.
Post #83 - Minus town points to Koal for /barning one of my scumspects.
I'm really not sure what to make of GM's #85. On one hand, it throws some suspicion towards Bro, but gives him room to back out. On the other hand, he's also attacking one of my townbuddies. I get an overall scum vibe from this post.
An Oculus's /barn in the next post is not comforting in the slightest, especially since he's been laying low by not posting much content after setting off my scumdar early.
Post #91 - Why isn't this guy lynched by now?
Post #96 - Seriously. Why. MirrorEntity's statement is completely valid.
Post #97 - First to mention a possible Neutral/SK. Scum points. And...how does he know how many scum there are?
Post #100 - Looking for any reason he can to keep his vote on Pancho. Weak. GM just shot to the top of my scumlist, which is saying something, given Brofaux's play up to this point.
Post #106: Aaand another total non-post. You couldn't sit on the fence any harder with that, Rith. Express opinion, dammit!
Post #108: "IF we vote" And reasoning would certainly help - asking people to provide thoughts on your choices when you haven't really done anything else is scummy when you've been oozing scum all game.
Post #110: "Honestly" is totally a scum word, guys. It's null based on how much some players use it, but it implies that you're not being honest with the rest of your statements, ya know? Also, applying your own meta to someone else's behavior doesn't usually work well.
Post #120: ...you seriously expect people to believe that you thought the RVS was still going? Also, you really didn't apply any reasons to your vote, other than "you're scummy because I think you're scum and I think you're hiding something so I'm voting for you."
Post #123: Such nonspecific reasoning for a nonexistent stance. Conviction, people! Show it!
Post #124: Weak. Brofaux just jumped back to the top of my scum list.
Post #126: Wtf? He was town? Unbelievable. Well, that puts me back at GM for #1 scum going for Brofaux who was playing awfully as town and Pancho who I have as a strong town read.
Post #127:
Post #128: If this is a serious post, you should provide reasoning for ridiculous statements like this next time. From what I remember, you haven't expressed why you would think Pancho is scum or scummy at all to this point.
Post #133: Seems genuine. +town to Megiddo.
Dislike #137. Baseless speculation that should be ignored unless GM flips scum, in which case I would have recommended looking back on this. And he proposes that Proph would intentionally make people scum instead of randomly assigning roles -
#138 - Vish caught it.
#145: Total scumslip.
#147: Useless.
Post #151: Why aren't you analyzing anything?
Post #152: Wat. Rly. You bring statistics into it, and then you say "Pancho wants to live because he's scum." Can't the same be said for town? Why does that make him scum?
Post #153: Ding ding ding. Man, I keep reading your minds.
Post #154: I think you're on to something! Keep making posts like this but don't put modifiers at the end - it helps it you establish a more definite opinion instead of leaving yourself room to back out of your stance. Scum do that - townies shouldn't be afraid of being wrong.
Post #155: MirrorEntity is obvscum after this post. It's like he's trying to attack Pancho for something that makes perfect sense with something that makes no sense.
Post #156: First part: Yes. Second part: Less stuff like this. It's throwing baseless suspicion out - not good at all unless you have something to back it up or experience to justify paranoia with such behavior.
#157: - town points.
#158: + town points.
#161: Good catch!
#163: Don't make bah posts like this - the part about who you were going to vote for is absolutely needless and against the spirit of the game.
#164: Since I have you in my "barely leaning town" pile at this point, I'd say this is another town point in your favor.
#167: "we (the town)" "our town power roles"
#168: This reads to me like Doc Oc knows Pancho is town.
#170: What. Did you seriously just propose a No Lynch.
#172: :rolleyes::thumbsup:
#175: "I hope this doesn't get detected as "suspicious"." Too self-conscious.
#176: "Your previous reasoning" that made you obviously scum? I can dig it.
Post #177: NO STOP SERIOUSLY WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS
#184: This would be a good post if not for the fact that Pancho is your #1 scumspect for reasons that your #2 scumspect is presenting. This reads like a distancing attempt, and given that GM and ME are my other two scum reads...yeah.
#185: What?
#187: Already been addressed. Are you going to contribute or continue to active lurk?
#188: Oh. (If you guys can't tell, I'm not reading ahead of posts. :3)
#195: This song and dance is getting a little old - you need more content posts instead of trying to play the good townie.
#197: VT claim. If I were suspicious of this guy, I'd say drop the hammer now, but I'm not, so I'd be fighting against his lynch.
#200: Red flags. Why do you need everyone's opinion on what to do? You're trying to "lead the town", why don't you take charge like you have been? Is it because you're afraid of lynching Pancho being on your head if he flips town? I think so.
#201: Uhh...do you expect mafia to seriously not claim town when they're run up? Trying too hard to be the "good townie". I think you notice no one is really suspicious of CC and as such are trying to follow his lead.
#202: No, you firsted this. >_>
#203 & #204: YEAH GUYS TOTALLY SUSPICIOUS except you haven't said how. At all.
#212:
#213: Totally non-subtle coaching of Oculus.
#215: Pfffffff.
#217: Okay. Now look for where Megiddo may have breadcrumbed being the Cop, and look at who his suspects were, keeping in mind that he may have been killed as a red herring BECAUSE of who he suspected. WIFOM and all that. But if someone genuinely picked up that Megiddo was the Cop, it's a more experienced player, so my eyes immediately go to GM for that.
All of the reactions to the Nightkill are unnecessary. Start the analysis. Boo-hooing won't get you anywhere.
#221: My vote would be on you for this post, as well. It's all pre-emptively defensive, forced, and the emoticon is obviously an attempt to moderate your post.
#223: Good question!
#224: No, that is most certainly not a good idea!
#227: "Let's do something! ...except maybe not, never mind."
#232: ...actually a fair point. + town points for you.
#233: What in the hell did I just read? Did you just try to give yourself room to falseclaim Doc? Die, scum.
#234: WHAT? You agree with Lanxal's ideas and then say he's acting suspicious? YOU CONTRADICT YOURSELF IN YOUR OWN POST.
#236:
#237: Was it REALLY rushed? I mean, Pancho's lynch was a foregone conclusion at that point.
#240: Did you just say you found him suspicious and then agreed with him? BE CONSISTENT, DAMMIT.
#246: Do you really have nothing else to add at this point that has happened so far in Day 2?
#249: You just admitted to being scum.
#253: Terrible. Just terrible. USE BEHAVIORAL ANALYSIS, DAMMIT.
#254: Ya don't say?
#255: So your scum list changed without reasons. Got it.
#257:
#260:
#263: Some of the worst passive-aggressive WIFOM generation I have ever seen.
#273: "The argument that a single reaction makes a person seem scummy is frail." Disagreed. That aside, excellent post. More like this one!
#276: Scumslip?
#278: Deflection detected! But your language seems genuine, so good job at covering that up.
#280 gives me bad vibes but nothing substantial.
#282: So your strongest opinions consist of fencesitting. Come on, guys, why was this guy not lynched sooner?
#289: I like the fact that you're naming the possibilities, I dislike the fact that you're not expressing opinions. Also, what post of GM nullified your suspicion and why? Why did you suddenly no longer have a scum read on Oculus?
#291: Quotes? Why no vote? This seems like you're just trying to off in any direction you can.
#292: "I didn't say he was scum, I just said he COULD be!"
#296: There is PLENTY to go off of. What, were you expecting someone to raise a white flag and declare themselves scum? "LOL MY BAD U CAUGHT ME DAWG"
#301: If no one has acted as scummy as GM yet, why haven't you lynched him yet? How does it make any sense to say, "He's scummy, so it's okay for him to lead?" That's just asking for a loss. Also, where the hell did MirrorEntity go? Lurking? Either way, not happy with either development.
#310: What? "I don't agree with your reasoning, so I don't think he's suspicious," is what I'm getting from this. How does that make him NOT suspicious, though? It just means you don't agree with why other people think he is.
#312: This is the most pro-town thing you've done all game.
Post #314:
#317: :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
#322: Why don't you find out yourself?
#324: Weak
#325: YES
#330: - town points for not having any solid reads at this point in the game.
#331: Not very good reasoning. There's this thing called "busing". Scum do it.
#332: Wait, you totally breadcrumbed a power role earlier! And you're a claimed VT at L-2! LYYYNCH
#334: WHAT? LYYYNCH. You had something good going with your bus on GM, but now you've totally thrown that away. You need to die.
#336: How's that fence taste? Obvious scum is obvious. You're trying not to put the hammer on your buddy while at the same time trying to get town credit if you do and by seeming to weigh your options.
#340: Why not? I disagree completely, you need to explain this.
#342: Huuuge deflection from your own wagon. A surprisingly good scum play. But then you suggest a no lynch.
#343: Baseless speculation in the face of a lynch deflection. Scum play to confuse newer players and detract from the point at hand.
#344:
#346: Terrible defense. More deflection.
#347: Hetalia?
#350: GM was obvscum. It is terrible that nobody lynched him after atrociously scummy behavior, being a breadcrumbed information role and a claimed VT at L-2.
#351: What the hell. Either the scum got seriously lucky or they have a great PR hunter on their team. Again, defaults to GM, who should have been lynched Day 2 anyway.
#355: Terrible flipflop. You two are definitely scum together.
#360: YES (also it's called a RoleCop)
#362: Uhh. You're a claimed VT. No scum in their right mind would have roleblocked you last Night. You are scum. Die.
#366: "Possibly" also roleblocking me? You just said they did. You've also made it painfully obvious that you and Oc are scumbuddies, so your other "suspicion" of Rith is total OMGUS.
#367: Rith is ringing alarm bells how?
#368: Good gut call.
#369: You just don't seem to want to lynch anybody. What gives?
#371: I find it possible at this point that there IS a town roleblocker and you're trying to draw them out into a claim with this post.
#373: Best post you've made in Day 3.
#374: That...should be obvious.
#376: Your statement regarding Rith makes absolutely no sense. If anything, that should point to him being town. You're further incriminating yourself as GM's scumbuddy with this post.
#381: Beautiful. :3
#384: THERE IS NO CASE AGAINST RITH AAA
#387: Probably your best post this game - you're still scum, but that was an excellent deflection.
#389: Not...really...
#390: You claimed Vanilla at L-2; if you were lying about having a PR, you deserved to be dead.
#393: SIIIGH
#399: How would that prove he's a roleblocker? It would just prove that he's lying about being roleblocked. Scuuumsliiip!
#401: Mooore deflection. On anyone that you possibly can deflect on to.
#406: NOOO
#407: I'm not sure where you get the idea that GM and Oc can't be scum together.
#408: Except don't self-vote, please.
#409:
#416: Holy **** another town post
#417: This adds merit to my town roleblocker theory.
#418: Holy **** a town post
#422:
#423: Where was this during your last post? But, good. Town points for you.
#424: What. Lanxal was scum? Dammiiit. At least I had two right!

There is no confirmed number, only the scum know how many of them there are, and there could be additional factions as well (such as a neutral). Mod mafia began with 13 players, and the opinions I heard were that three mafia is most likely for that number, with four being possible but putting the town at a disadvantage (I can't comment further since I actually know how many there are).
Implies that he knows exactly that there are 3 scum.

Thanks for that Iso, I think I'll spend some time studying this game and your comments before jumping into another game. No promises I'll stop sucking, but I'll try make less obvious mistakes!
What yeah I was saying I knew how many are in the mod mafia game.
Here are some specific questions:
I tried to lead the town because, as vanilla, I knew I was most expendable. I was taking cues from Nai in mod mafia. Is this a reasonable thing to do? Try to ignore the fact that the only evidence that made sense to me was my ESP connection with Oculus.
What was I supposed to do about being roleblocked? I figured it out correctly and tried to share it, but got pwned because that is not what normally happens?
I disagree with Iso, to me GM was the towniest and mafia really easy to peg. By barely reading this game I've PMed Proph with my reads at the start of D2 and got 2 mafia and the neutral.
@Proph don't be swayed by Iso's opinions, the mod's awards are the mod's only.

The game is not being dumbed down. Control is doing fine; Draw-Go is not the only kind of control. Aggro is doing fine; Red Deck Wins is not the only kind of aggro. Creature combat is an important core concept and belongs in every color. Mythic rarity is not destroying the game. People whine too much for no good reason. Magic is more popular than ever, so keep calm, brew some decks and play some damn cards.

It's absolutely a reasonable thing to do - but you didn't substantiate your arguments against Pancho at all. There was no reason he should have been lynched. You just kept playing the "I'm town, really guys, trust me" card but then kept suggesting you could be scum and it just came off the completely wrong way. Otherwise, it's a good idea to go balls to the wall as VT.
You should have claimed you were roleblocked the first time you got roleblocked - more information for the town. Sometimes VTs get roleblock flavor/messages.
Anyway, I just thought you were ridiculously scummy.

You wake up at night, unable to sleep. You contemplate phoning somebody with your landline, but you decide against it.
"What if one of the betrayers chats with me?"
"No one will ever be up this late at night."
With a sound foundation that you will save the landline for another night, you go back into your room and have a fine sleep, drinking some water as a refreshment.

I would like to Doctorate...
Hm...
CrustaceanCrusader. >_>
Balefire's POV
Unable to sleep at night, you decide that lives are at stake. As drowsy and tired as you are, you wake up and take a 4 am stroll to CrustaceanCrusader's house.
The road there has been uneventful. You didn't take the main road, because what if someone had spotted you? Your life is at risk, too. However, you finally get to his house. For some reason, the door is unlocked. Whew. Cracking it open may have noise that you'd rather no one would like to hear.
You find your way to CC's bed, where he is nicely dozing off. With a fickle hand, you administer the pill, then leave.
Creak!
Argh, CC is awake. You quickly crouch down, juuuust avoiding CC's extremely sleepy eyes - almost like he is sleepwalking. He almost gets out of bed, but, at the last minute, he drifts back to sleep.
Whew. That was close. You quickly tiptoe the abandoned shortcut from CC's house to yours, and you sleep quite quickly, silently cursing how drowsy you will be at work tomorrow.
Doc result successful.

Please investigate CrustaceanCrusader.
Megiddo's POV
You try to get to sleep, but, as the night wanders on, you decide to look up someone's IP.
"Lives are at stake," you say to yourself.
So, you creep by your laptop and turn it on. Ugh. The light is enough to burn your eyes and the sound is so obnoxious that everyone can hear it. Nevertheless, you get on MTGSalvation, with a quick change of the background to black to STOP BURNING YOUR EYES.
Anyways, you get onto the Mod CP and look up someone. Hmm. CrustaceanCrusader catches your eye. "He was looking good last night, but I don't know."
You input his name. CRUSTACEANCRUSADER. The software returns a nice IP.
[Capa@CrustaceanCrusader.user.globalgamers.net]
With nothing suspicious to report, you quickly find that CrustaceanCrusader is town. With that matter settled, you sleep the laptop, put it back in the charger (the battery hasn't been doing so well after a couple of years), and return up.
Hmm. Wait. Who is that in your room?
You return to your room and find a dark silhouette, still. He must be asleep.
What? Your house can't be haunted. Your house is locked. Who could it be?
You decide to investigate, and suddenly the silhouette stands up.
"Hey Megiddo!" MirrorEntity says. He appears quite startled, as if he was ready to defend himself.
"I mean, I was a bit scared in my house, y'know - the murderers could be anywhere. So, I decided to camp in your house for the night, being your watchdog. Eyes and ears." Mirror says. "Eyes and ears. I mean, I thought that you were the murderer! Where were you?"
"Don't worry, Mirror." you say. MirrorEntity has lots of irrational fears, like realtors. "They won't get you. I mean, you weren't really in the spotlight."
MirrorEntity suddenly steps back. "Were you killing anybody?"
Oh, no. MirrorEntity doesn't know. "C'mon, Mirror. You know I'm safe. I mean, I am a moderator after all."
MirrorEntity is still tense, but he relaxes a bit. "Well, moderators might be on this too..."
"Still, don't worry. I am a member of this town. I am determined to find the killers."
MirrorEntity suddenly eyes the letter opener you have on your wall. You feel a slight bowl of fear in your gut, that MirrorEntity might be scum.
"Hey, Mirror?"
MirrorEntity is grabbing the letteropener now. "Don't worry, Megs. It's for self defense.." He suddenly drops down to a more serious, lower voice. "Against you."
Before you can react, MirrorEntity is on you. He headbutts you so violently that you fall to the floor. He locks down your legs with his and points the letteropener to your neck before exclaiming,
"Good bye, Megiddo. Good bye to your tyrannical leadership."
He plunges the letter opener into your neck, immediately impacting your ability to breathe. Your neck starts spewing blood, and you run out of oxygen. Within seconds, your lungs have completely stopped working, and you lay down on the ground, a lifeless being.
You are now dead. You may PM me for the spectator quicktopic.

MirrorEntity's POV
With some reconciling over in the secret underground cave that Lanxal and you dug some time ago, you all decide to kill Megiddo. While Oculus is busy drawing mustaches on Gerrard's Mom's avatar, you and Lanxal decide to go to Megiddo's house to administer the kill.
You creep by his house with Lanxal and crack the door. It's easy given your experience playing mafia. You do so with a swift hand, quickly and silently. You then creep in the doorway, while Lanxal watches the house.
Drat! Megiddo is right there, but he is transfixed on his laptop, apparently not noticing you. With some sneaking, you manage to make your way up the soft stairs, going to his bedroom.
You decide to give Megiddo the creeps before killing and sleep on his bed. You doze off to sleep for a few minutes...
... until Megiddo's footsteps wake you up. You plan a few things. You are usually quite superstitious and childlike by expression, so you manage to put on a fake identity. You wake up and greet Megs. After all, he was your friend.
"Hey Megiddo!" you say. Megiddo is startled and takes a step back. You try to explain more. "I mean, I was a bit scared in my house, y'know - the murderers could be anywhere. So, I decided to camp in your house for the night, being your watchdog. Eyes and ears." You got this. You're on a roll. "Eyes and ears. I mean, I thought that you were the murderer! Where were you?" Ah. Self-administrating guilt. Always a nice feeling to inflict before a murder.
"Don't worry, Mirror." Megiddo says, after a nice long wait. Your plan seems to be working - making Megiddo feel sorry for you. "They won't get you. I mean, you weren't really in the spotlight."
You step back, as to enhance the guilt, then say it. "Were you killing anybody?" You try to appear as scared as possible, hiding laughter in your soul. He is totally buying this.
Megiddo has a incredulous flash upon his face, as if he would not expect you to jump to that conclusion. "C'mon, Mirror. You know I'm safe. I mean, I am a moderator after all."
Ugh. He almost got you - the moderator defense. However, you rehearsed this with Oculus the past hour. "Well, moderators might be on this too..."
He appears stoic. "Still, don't worry. I am a member of this town. I am determined to find the killers."
Argh. Plan failed. You warmed up Megiddo, now it's time to kill him. You eye the letter opener hanging on the wall. Just sharp enough to puncture the neck. Just intimidating enough to startle him. Just as a fine murder weapon as a gun.
You reach for the letter opener, but Megiddo reaches for it, but not moving. "Hey, Mirror?"
You play up the ploy. "Don't worry, Megs. It's for self defense..", then you drop the ploy, like Demyx does in Kingdom Hearts II, one of your most favorite video games. "Against you."
You have surprise on your side. You headbutt Megiddo, him falling to the ground. You lock him with your legs and put the letter opener right in his neck. Excellent. Everything is going well. Just to deliver the coup de grace...
"Good bye, Megiddo. Good bye to your tyrannical leadership."
You puncture the letter opener in his neck, not apparently smooth through the skin. After a few seconds, he runs out of oxygen and dies.
Mission accomplished. You find his laptop and go onto MTGSalvation. Foolish Megiddo. He doesn't lock his login screen, and he uses LastPass for his account. LOL. The password is there, autocompleted. You log in and post this card on Club Flamingo, to avenge poor pressingchess's death:
All players will either place two cards or half the sum of four or less cards rounded up from their hands on top of their library. If a player has no cards in his/her hand then a randomly chosen opponent of that player with no hand will scry 7 with that player's library instead. Otherwise all players would then discard their remaining hand, scry 3 and draw 5 cards.
Cycling; :symb::symb:, discard this card: All players must discard X cards from their hand then scry X. Where X equals half the sum of the amount of cards rounded up in the player's hand.
When you cycle Illusional Fears all players draw X when the cycling resolves in play.
"Don't even think that way!! Its only wind whisking around the ruins delicate standing buildings' walls. " Eron said grinning at the young shapeshifter.
Ok, now for that something tried elsewhere. this one is a response to one of Lil' Money comments.
Let's try a permanent that can effect land with flash with an unique response ability relating to producing or manipulating mana sum going to any pool.
Ah, Illusional Fears - a fitting card to post in the grisly murder scene. You close the laptop, locking it with a password, then sneak over to your house. Ah. Day 1, three townies dead.
Kill Successful.

Oculus's POV
While Lanxal and MirrorEntity are going to Megiddo's house to commit the crime, you're doing something much more tame - going to Gerrard Mom's house in order to dab some MUSTACHIOs on his avatar. Oh, Brofaux, he taught you so well.
Using your pirated copy of Photoshop, you load up Gerrard Mom's avatar and dab some nice mustaches on that beautiful Ramirez DePietro. After doing this task, you load it up on Dropbox and, well, off you go to his house.
You fumble with the door for a bit (MirrorEntity didn't teach you that well), but you manage to get the door opened quietly. You stroll a bit past the kitchen to GM's room.
Great, he is sleeping. You look around to possibly find a murder weapon, but to no avail. You simply just log on to GM's account and change his avatar to the mustachio's Ramirez DePietro. Confident that your work is done, you creep out the door, silently close it, and go back to your house. Man, you need to go to sleep.
Roleblock successful.

Lanxal's POV
MirrorEntity confirms the decision. You and him are strolling to Megiddo's house. You will watch for any "intruders", while MirrorEntity delivers the nightkill. Great.
You and Mirror take two different paths so that you aren't associated, when you find Rithaniel sleepwalking. Meh. Not really anything to worry about. You get to Megiddo's house, then MirrorEntity breaks the lock easily and silently. You peek and find that Megiddo is on his laptop, but you quickly go back into the bushes. Time to see the intruders.
....
...
..
.
Despite your attempts to sleep, you stay awake, but find no other people. Excellent. You entertain yourself for a while longer, thinking about Magic Wars and Party Hawks, when MirrorEntity comes back and does a quick "thumbsup". You go back to your house, where you drift into a quick sleep. Great work today.
Watch successful. No one has targetted Megiddo tonight except MirrorEntity.

Gerrard's Mom POV
You wake up in the morning and check a quick MTGSalv before going to work to Nintendo. Exciting! However, something is off. Mustaches have been drawn on your avatar! Ugh, whoever did this must be really mischievous.
...
You spend an hour wiping off the color until you have a clean Ramirez DePietro. Oh, no. Drat! You're late to work. You quickly change and go inside your car, then drive off. You will have some explaining to do to your boss.
You have been roleblocked.
Quote from Prophylaxis »
As usual, you rest your body for a good 2 or 3 hours, then go out to protect. You put on some clothes, bring a flashlight, and you bring a knife just in case someone tries to kill you.
You walk out of the door silently and swiftly, with only socks on, then run. It's pitch-black, and with only your flashlight, it looks like a dark street murder scene. You feel scared, but you solder on.
Argh, you're lost. You accidentally bump into Oculus's house, but then you look up the window and see that no one is there. "Hmm, wonder what he's doing," you think to yourself. Then, a cold fear runs down your spine: What if he's part of the mafia? You take a deep sigh. "Well, I think with this evidence, I can push through for a lynch on him tomorrow."
You find your way to GM's house, and he is sleeping. The door is already opened, and you find Oculus in there. "So, he is scum. Ugh." With his gun visible, you know it's suicide to attempt to knife him down. But.. He isn't killing GM. He just logs onto his computer and loads up a Ramirez DePietro avatar, but there is a difference... Hey! It has a mustache! Oculus finishes up the task and slowly walks away. He doesn't notice you, though.
Good thing, as you slip a awakening pill for him. "Something to keep him up at night, to fend off his killers." You put the knife by him, as well - he doesn't seem to carry any murder weapons, so the knife might help him protect himself.
Well, that was a anxious night, but you're ready to point a finger at Oculus when the sun rises. You tiptoe back to your house with the flashlight. It's cold and the night is unforgiving. Once you finally reach your doorstep, you breathe a heavy sigh and go to sleep.
When you get into your bedroom, the door closes. You spin, hoping that there aren't ghosts. You see a familiar face: Lanxal.
Lanxal smirks. "Nice to meet you, Balefire. Sadly, I think that all of us agree that it's time for you to leave."
"All of us? You mean that there's more than one person in thi--AAGH!" you scream, as the knife - your knife - penetrates you back. You slump onto the floor, dying. Your last sight was of MirrorEntity and Lanxal.
"Oculus got us something good today." MirrorEntity says, brandishing your knife. With all your might, you try to stay awake, but your inner organs shut down.
You are dead. You may PM me for a link to the spectator quicktopic.

Time is right for the kill. After an hour conversing in the cove, you're ready to conk out, but you guys have agreed to perform the necessary actions.
You and Lanxal take a side-path to Balefire's house, where there are no houses (just annoying shrubs), but you manage to get to the door. You picklock the door in a few seconds (new record!), then approach his bedroom.
"He isn't there," you mutter to yourself, and you and Lanxal agree to ambush Balefire when he inevitably comes back. However, you're ready to sleep, so Lanxal agrees to you resting on Balefire's bed while he watches.
Strangely, you can't go asleep at all, even when your body has nearly shut down, begging for sleep. You wake up and see Oculus.
"Here's something that you might need," Oculus says with a smile. He brandishes a knife, and gives it to you. "Have fun."
Great, a murder weapon. Oculus drops out of the one-story window, going back to his house, but you and Lanxal are still here. Lanxal decides to watch for anything during the night - he is the most nocturnal of you three.
A few short minutes later, Lanxal comes back. "He's there. Hide. I'll meet him, and you pierce his back."
You hide in the closet, then Balefire arrives, and, as expected, goes to the bedroom. You close the door behind him, and go through the closet to his room.
Meanwhile, Lanxal confronts him.
Lanxal smirks. "Nice to meet you, Balefire. Sadly, I think that all of us agree that it's time for you to leave."
"All of us? You mean that there's more than one person in thi--AAGH!". He screams like a girl. Well, that knife was more sharp than you thought. He slumps onto the floor.
Kill Successful.
You pick up the knife - ick, more blood comes out from that fatal gash. You put it back in its sheath, then you go to the living room, where the computer is flatly there.
You start it up - and immediately greeted by a password screen. Bah. You type in 123456, and the password hint shows up. "Flamingos_RULE", and you type it. Bingo. That was a lame password. You got to MTGSalv, where his computer nicely has it auto-logged in.

After a fine hour of meeting on what you've dubbed "The Pit", you go with MirrorEntity to send the kill. You walk using the shruby shortcut to Balefire's house, then you quickly realize that he's not there. Since MirrorEntity is really sleepy, you decide to keep watch while he sleeps on Balefire's bed.
In a short period of time, though, he wakes up. "Got to be alert for the blood."
MirrorEntity waits idly when Oculus comes in. "Thought you might need this." He pulls out a fine knife. "Have fun." Oculus slides open the window and runs to his house.
You move outside so that you can see if he's coming back. As you dive to the bushes, you see him walking to the house. You quickly and silently go to the back door, then go to the bedroom. MirrorEntity is examining the knife, then you guys quickly format a plan to ambush Balefire. He hides in the closet, while Balefire opens the door - and is face-to-face with you.
You smirk. "Nice to meet you, Balefire. Sadly, I think that all of us agree that it's time for you to leave."
"All of us? You mean that there's more than one person in thi--AAGH!"
MirrorEntity is on cue and stabs him in the back. Mission successful. "Oculus got us something good today." Mirror says, and then sheathes the knife.
MirrorEntity goes to the living room to do the computer stuff, while you spend some minutes sleeping on Balefire's bed. MirrorEntity flashes a "thumbsup" sign at you, then you leave to your house.
Watch successful. No one targeted Balefire but MirrorEntity.

After your meeting with your buddies, you decide to roleblock GM again, just to make sure he isn't a vig or something and screws you guys up.
You creep over to his house, then pick the lock. You fumble with it, and it takes you a while. You manage to do it, then climb up the stairs to GM's bedroom.
He is snoring, while you log onto the computer. His desktop is a preview of the new Guild Wars 2 game that's coming out. Fun.
Finally, you use his slow Firefox and navigate to MTGSalv, where you use your Dropbox to paint a mustache of his avatar, as always.
Ick - you notice Balefire crouching down. However, he isn't really any match for your pocket gun. You decide not to end it now, since GM will wake up and you will really be in trouble.
Instead, you just walk out the door, pretending not to notice him. You hide in the bushes near GM's house, waiting for Balefire to come out.
Finally, you go back into the house and see what he has done. You find a knife, which could be useful, then you dash off.
You take the shortcut to the his house, where you find Lanxal and Mirror. You give the knife to Mirror. "Have fun!"
You open the window and jump out of it like a beast, and then run to your house. Good - you need sleep tonight.
Roleblock successful.

And then you turn out to be scum and have to do it all again.

#172: :rolleyes::thumbsup:
Post #314:
#317: :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
So yeah, hope this helps, guys!

I'll admit to being super lazy on D1 of this game, and thus very useless. That's ridic.
Exactly. How did he know? I'm confused. o.O

In a 12 player games, there is usually three scum.
Haha, thanks Iso. I am going to totally shift around the MVPs of the game.

That's how I read that sentence initially, and is why I didn't think anything suspicious of it.

@Proph don't be swayed by Iso's opinions, the mod's awards are the mod's only.
