You are my favourite person right now - but sadly I think that AH is not the lynch for the day, and I want to lynch Kraj, so you replacing in for him and voting for AH is not really helping right now.
Here's the deal- classes have gotten into full swing since this game has started and drug way the hell on. I do remember being aware of a case on netfinitty EARLY day one, but have long since forgotten what it is. Could somebody link me to key posts so that I can better offer insight?
Kraj isn't the only thing going on in this thread. Keep posting further. Give us your take on Cyan. Make something happen. Reenter the random phase for all I care.
Hydra-vote: PhantomS. While you're at it, you can try to figure out why I just voted for you. Hint: it's more subtle than simple inactivity.
I really have no intention of guessing why you voted me. I could try to guess but I don't know that I see the point. :shrugs:
So you do disagree with the wagon against Kraj today, right?
I mean, I agree that he's probably a goner. But that seems justified since he lashed out against any of his attackers and really put nothing forward to back up the votes.
Other than that the wagon actually is almost slow for the actions commited, e. g. I would have expected Cyan to react to it sooner.
It may seem fast to someone who only glances over the thread twice a week though. You probably don't realise the vast amount of (prod-worthy *hint*) time that has passed in which Kraj did not manage to answer due to the low posting frequency in general.
greetings
Z
No. He doesn't have to be a goner. You're right, it doesn't seem slow, but that's been rectified with a replacement.
You are my favourite person right now - but sadly I think that AH is not the lynch for the day, and I want to lynch Kraj, so you replacing in for him and voting for AH is not really helping right now.
Unvote, Vote Kpaca.
How am I not helping? Should I be voting myself?
As for Cyan, I feel as if he could be scum. His heart really doesn't seem in it as far as catching scum is concerned.
However, I'd much rather lynch the obv scum. I'm a bit confused how people can post *herf derf no opinion* for almost 2 game days and not get lynched.

You're right, my heart hasn't really been in it. I replaced into this game because it looked like it was struggling, and usually I can single handedly keep a game going.
I tried to run up a case on Skander and absolutely no one said anything about it, except for Skander, whose responses only made him look WORSE and STILL no one said anything. I still think he's scum, but nobody cares.
Unrelatedly, that 'herf derf' thing you've been going on lately is pretty amusing.
I would look toward Skander maybe after AH, not sure if I would before or after you though. I find he has been a tad off since his hiatus, so I think he might still be shaking that sort of rust off or he might just have been ovverated for his fast start into the game.
Also, I'm torn on what I think of Az.
Definite town reads coming from PhantomS, Pale Mage, Zas, Wrath of Dog.
I did have a scum read on Kraj as I was keeping up with the game, but sadly it is not true.

I'm not really sure how to digest a 'I had a scum read on myself(effectively)' statement.
I'm pretty sure that Az is town. At least, he's playing like he usually does as town. I mean..he hasn't tried to run a real gambit once this game, so he can't be scum, right?
Unless of course, since Az has run so many gambits he is gambiting by not gambiting.
Basically the self analysis is me saying that I cannot answer questions for Kraj, and also that I can't really refute points against him, as I was in agreement until seeing the role pm.

I agree that I've been off since I came back, but I think this game is a different issue, just in that I was fed up with it. I'm still working on playing similarly to my first couple of games, hopefully I can get there soon, unfortunately I doubt that, since my playstyle was basically asking lots of questions about things I didn't understand, and that other players took for granted. Now however I take the same things for granted.
*Ahem* ...back to the game.
You never die do you kpaca?
And Zas: I wasn't trying to criticize anyone, I was just saying that we should not just let it come down to a modkill. If enough people wanted Kraj lynched then fine, but that wasn't the case.

Your contention is that of four people I'm the only one who could even possibly be scum? The only group that has anywhere near that level of certainty about alignment are scum themselves. I find this suggestion to be absurd. FoS: Pale Mage

Two of them are dead, so we have alignment. There are two left. Of the two left, I have a goodish town read on one of them (hint: not you). Further, I believe when a designer takes the time to set aside four players from the group as a whole, he is up to something. That's how people think when they build. The simplest design is one scum amongst the group (and it's been done before).
I didn't see Pale Mage as being certain. If we were to assume that there is a scum mason, considering you and WoD are the only masons left, it is quite clearly you.

Now, how exactly is it "absurd"?
Well, gaming the mod has much to do with establishing your initial premise, so that is already some level of absurdity. There is also the possibility of additional masons, but of course that would be entirely speculation, not saying that what you're saying isn't... A "good-ish" town read hardly qualifies a person as town.
I can't imagine anybody would take my opinion on who is more scummy of WoD or myself terribly seriously, so I'll spare that point.
I'm finding AH's retroactive "Xyre lynch were ba" case to be odd at best after a slight gloss-over the past couple pages. Once again the replacement of Kraj throws me some. I think a bit more pressure on AH sounds appropriate, if nothing else to get this game moving some.
However, I'd much rather lynch the obv scum. I'm a bit confused how people can post *herf derf no opinion* for almost 2 game days and not get lynched.
I don't think his apathy's a scum tactic. If it were, he'd probably care enough to pick up his activity level to avoid the lynch. Instead, he just doesn't care. That's either a non-tell or a town tell.
I would look toward Skander maybe after AH, not sure if I would before or after you though. I find he has been a tad off since his hiatus, so I think he might still be shaking that sort of rust off or he might just have been ovverated for his fast start into the game.

I did have a scum read on Kraj as I was keeping up with the game, but sadly it is not true.
Sadly?
Also, please explain how you're torn. Are you just all out of faith? Are you cold and shamed, lying naked on the floor? Clarify please.
...and if there is scum in our group of four masons, you're it.
Speaking of things not understood, Az can you clarify this exchange for me (from the start of the game)?
Yeah...not sure if we can be sure that 4 masons is all we have. Also not sure we really want to clarify that yet, or not.
The Charmmaster exchange was two separate things. One was the gag that he was trying to get me to vote for him, and I was refusing. The second was that Charmmaster referenced the smiley-speak language that Rafaelk invented for me when I pretended to be restricted to smilies-only in MTGS Mafia redux (successfully, as scum :D), and posted a "lol" in smiley speak.
I didn't see Pale Mage as being certain. If we were to assume that there is a scum mason, considering you and WoD are the only masons left, it is quite clearly you.
Clearly?? I'm relatively confident in WoD, but clearly? When we don't even now whether additional masons exist?
Yeah...not sure if we can be sure that 4 masons is all we have. Also not sure we really want to clarify that yet, or not.
Got it. Don't see the harm at this stage, though.

Well, gaming the mod has much to do with establishing your initial premise, so that is already some level of absurdity.
I am unashamedly gaming the mod. Gaming the mod is not absurd. Why do you think it is?
Also, why do you think my opinion is FOS worthy now when I've been over this ground before? I don't recall you attacking me for "absurdity" then. Correct me if I'm wrong.
There is also the possibility of additional masons, but of course that would be entirely speculation, not saying that what you're saying isn't... A "good-ish" town read hardly qualifies a person as town.
I doubt more than four players received a role pm that said "you are masons with x".
I can't imagine anybody would take my opinion on who is more scummy of WoD or myself terribly seriously, so I'll spare that point.
You find WoD scummy?
I'm finding AH's retroactive "Xyre lynch were ba" case to be odd at best after a slight gloss-over the past couple pages. Once again the replacement of Kraj throws me some. I think a bit more pressure on AH sounds appropriate, if nothing else to get this game moving some.
I'm considering it. Feel free to give me reasons not to.
A) If you can't see that the point had nothing to do with giving myself "permission" to not participate, I can't help you.
B) Have you dropped the point about the joke about Kpaca?
I think PhantomS is acting opportunistically here.
Kpaca I believe is town. First of all for him being Kraj and secondly because he said "sadly". This is the same tell that led me to believe that Callaway was town in Tales of the Fantastic.
I am unashamedly gaming the mod. Gaming the mod is not absurd. Why do you think it is?
It's telling the author what his intentions were with his story. There is no way for you to know and therefor guessing will almost assuredly end up in you guessing wrongly. Not unlike the Hobbesian argument against knowledge of God...
Also, why do you think my opinion is FOS worthy now when I've been over this ground before? I don't recall you attacking me for "absurdity" then. Correct me if I'm wrong.
The level of certainty you expressed sent up a red flag.
I doubt more than four players received a role pm that said "you are masons with x".
Already addressed.
You find WoD scummy?
More that I know I'm town.
*waves arms*
I'm over here. You were attacking me. FIGHT ME!
I find it suspicious when a player so assuredly attacks a player I know to be town. However, townies are essential to the list of other townies, so such a circumstance is not significant enough for a vote, merely for a mention.

I still think Skander is scum, though apparently I'm the only one.
I'm not thrilled with how any suspicion of Kraj has just disappeared because he got replaced. Kpaca hasn't done anything but pretend to be really aggressive while really just railing at a lurker.
I hadn't pictured you as a Natalie Imbruglia fan, Az.
I think PhantomS is feeling a little bit of heat and has decided it's time to make a move on someone. The fact that comes against the obvious easy target in AH does not inspire confidence, particularly coupled with the rails kpaca provided for him to lay his train down on.
Abandon Hope is frustrating. There is no content in essentially any of abandon hope's posts, but whether or not this is the work of scum or just bad town is a maddening debacle. I think pressure is more than appropriate though, especially considering the stagnant nature of this game.
Is this the same behaviour that AH has shown in his other games? If so, we have no reason to lynch him. If not, we have to wonder what is different this game.
To be honest, after this game, I'm inclined to lobby for his blacklisting. He shouldn't be playing in this game if he doesn't want to actually PLAY in this game.
Your response doesn't make sense in light of the post you responded to.
Is the "No" meant as an answer to my question? If so, then I'm confused. If not, then please answer it!
Also "You're right, it doesn't seem slow" is contradicting itself since I just opposed it having a high velocity in the post you quoted.
Ok. No was a reponse to your question. I didn't and don't think there is any reason for Kraj/Kpaca to be a foregone conclusion. I meant, you're right, it does seem slow. Self review for failure there.
If you didn't disagree with the wagon against Kraj, then why would you vote Azrael over Kraj?
You agree that the wagon is slow, but you earlier criticised its momentum (and in result placed the vote you maintain). So your attack was founded on a false premise, right?
Yet I don't see you unvote. How do you explain that?
Also why did you decide not to take part in our little exercise to record our opinions?
And, please, be more precise with your language! I don't want to wonder again which question a particular standalone "No" stands for. It only will end up in me asking for clarification. If you don't want to answer a question twice, I guess, you don't want to clarify it multiple times either.
greetings
Z
Wait, were you calling Xyre's lynch fast? Momentum may be related to, but is not the same as acceleration.
With smilies? I wouldn't call that a record of opinion.
