His FOS of Some One was pretty weak..which is sort of excused by the early game, but the fact that he unFOSed the next post is pretty meh to me.
That was of Bringer that I rescinded the fos, because it was a *joke*. I still have that FoS on Some One.
Also, I don't like the way that he's avoided the conversation regarding mafia theory thus far....when i asked him the first time, he totally brushed it off in its entirety, ignoring the players' making the points...like he's not even trying to find scum at this gesture.
And that's because it is no longer pertinent, nor was it ever pertinent, because Niv claimed kingmaker before the conversation ever got started.
And while some town players do do that, i think its a good enough of a lead to go on so far. Plus I feel at least 3 other players are town, so I like targetting Bilbro so far.
.....which was my point. Yes the actual philosophy of the argument is for this game at least, almost certainly irrelevant. But that doesn't mean you ignore whats taking place in the thread....and ignore how the players are reacting to the argument.
@Bilbro...no? I'm picking the player i deem scummiest thus far (you) out of the 8 unknowns i have left.

I still believe that it is unnatural and non-town. That will probably not change.
The anger in this post is contradictory. You are saying you are upset that Niv will now be alive all game, however, it's a safe bet he wouldn't be NKed. Thus, it's irrelevant to discuss the facts as if he were to ever be nightkilled because he would never be nightkilled. Thus, a town-confirmed Niv, a player who is more likely to be lynched than a "power-player" is fine.
It took me reading this post like 6 times before I understood it completely.
You, of all people, know how enraged I can get... That being said, what is flaming/harping-on-the-obviously-very-stupid-play going to do? What's done is done - all you can do is move on. But I think we're left with a loran who is solidly in the town slot because I couldn't possibly imagine him putting on an act here - there's just no way he would pull a flame-infractable post out of thin air like that.
I like this post because it sounds legit. The only other option is that SO is Loran's buddy, and I sorta doubt that because of the "Contradictory Anger" post.
There's really not a hell of a lot to talk about in Kingmaker early on. You can't vote, no King has made a decision yet, the setup is open and everyone but the king and kingmaker are vanilla.

Man that's so insightful. You certainly couldn't post any opinion on the past 10 or so post or else then it wouldn't look like you're lurking in plain sight.
Posting for the sake of posting (as you are doing) just spams the thread. I don't have anything especially relevant to say at the moment; I'd rather see what some other people have to say (as several people so far have said little of nothing of consequence) than talk just to hear myself.
Anyway, I'm not really feeling the move on bilb. He just doesn't seem suspicious to me.
I'm still focused on Jobie. The only thing he really seems to have done is point out bilb's fence sitting. Everything else is either a bunch of one-liners and things he comments on after other people already did. Plus he just feels scummy.
I don't know if nom is town or scum. But I'd like to point out this type of behavior is his standard modus operandi.
Court Mafia: Day 1, hatch plan to KILL EVERYONE ELSE IN A SINGLE NIGHT, when the plan only allows him to hit 11 random players, ATTEMPTS TO FIRE ANYHOW (Roleblocked).
In other words....Nom is an impulsive player who doesn't think about planning long-term or listening to others. I wouldn't be surprised if he was town. At all.
As RafK says, there isn't a hell of a lot to talk about day1. I'd like to lynch Jobie.
Does anyone significantly disagree?
I do. But, how about this? Rather than suggesting, "I'd like to lynch XYZ," you give your reasoning.
Why Jobie? Why do you think he's scum?
I happen to think Jobie's town because he showed quite a bit of emotion over Nom Anor/Seppel's mistakes a bit back. Jobie is not the type of player who fakes emotion often, so I'd guess this is genuine. And I don't think Jobie would be the type of player to CARE in this game if he was scum...i think he'd just ignore it.
Ergo, I think Jobie is town. That said, WHAT ARE YOUR REASONS? Being King doesn't give you license to not give reasons, or to sit back and lurk.

Nom knew the real logic and tried to twist it around to encourage a kingmaker claim (which worked perhaps faster than he expected!). For my money, must be on the shortlist for execution today.
FoS: RafaelK
Nom is not dying today. He's the most protown player here.
It's your opinion that Nom is the most protown player here. It was and still is my opinion that he squirelled an explanation to promote the Kingmaker coming out. I don't see where "I'm just making stuff up about people". You disagree with my opinion, fine.
Since Jobie is on the King's list, I'll take a look at Jobie soon (and I encourage other non-talky people to do so as well).
I thought his reaction to kingmaker claiming was forced, and really hated the way he promoted Niv's lynch, without actually voting for him.Ideally, that would be true. But what could you do about it if I did decide not to give reasons, or sit back and lurk?
Where'd he ever advocate Niv's lynch? Seriously. Show me where he does so.
I'd say that yeah, it does give me license. At least today.
Then I'd advocate your lynch tomorrow. A town player would like to hear other's opinions, and not act on a whim. A scum player doesn't care. You seem to be advocating the latter.

Loran. Stop, think for a minute from my perspectave.
I am one of the Worst players on the Site. I know it, I admit it. I will NEVER get NKED as a vanilla town. If I ever get wagoned, I will generally be for a ligitamate reason. so as far as I know, there is no reason for me to not claim. all it does is save the town from wagoning me, and learning very little in the process.
also, Can we try to not jump straight to the Adhom.
Thanks
-Niv
Niv, please think about this for a second from an intelligent standpoint.
When someone gets wagoned, there is information to be had there, especially if it's on an easily confirmed townie (i.e. mod-confirmed ITT, cop, vig, etc.). Therefore, outright claiming, when you're going to get wagoned is downright detrimental to the town. "Saving the town from wagoning you" is a ******** reason for doing that when there is information to be had.
Also, can we not ask someone to lay off the adhoms when you've made an obviously idiotic move?
If I had the vote, you'd be dead already,
-Jobie
When I said the "If I had the vote, you'd be dead already" it's more that I was frustrated by Niv's stupidity and wished we could get someone better as Kingmaker rather than actually wanting him to die, since logically that's a bad idea for the town as a whole.

I like Nom's logic.
Why is Jobie scummy?

Got a reason for me being scummy or are you just following WoD's lead?

Har Har.
Prods were meant to be going out today anyway, so yes. Prodded everybody with less than 10 posts
WOD is obv-town. Albeit impetuous and just a tad snide.
The pseudo-interactions between Jobie/Loran kind of reeks to me. I would not be surprised if one of these two is town, latching onto the other player who is perceived as taking a strong stand. More likely that Jobie is scum.
Raf - Town as far as I can tell.
Seppel - Unsure.

THATS ME!
Anywhoo. Honestly, i dont have much to go off of yet this game. Im trying to read into people here and... failing.
Loran and acting stupidly aggressive and.. flamey. (Try not to get suspended or cause someone to modkill themselves prz. Thanks)
Jobie is being jobie (again, he doesnt feel scum to me. He seems like jobie. Also: HI JOBIE!)
And WoD is being WoD. Really loran, people are being themselves, cool it.
Im curious about bringer tho. He's ****ing beetlejuice. You say his name 3 times in a post, and he appears to post! Then he disappears just as quickly on the way out.
So... FOS: Beetlejuice... i mean... FOS: Bringer
I forgot you two were even in the game.
Post more plz. That wasn't much to go on. AI says there's a dichotomy between Jobie and Loran and StormBlind (too good to abbreviate) wants to go on a lurker hunt.
QUICK THOUGHTS

WoD - Town-ish
Nom - Town
Bilb - Scum
bringerofthenight - No clue
Sb - No clue
Loran - Town-ish
Jobie - Ass
No offense, but Ass isn't exactly a rating on the town-scum scale. Just saying.

Alright, who said my name?
Anyway it seems that Loran and Jobie are working together. I don't think either one is particularly scummy but it does seem that they are working together, or are just using each other to have an excuse to say something bad about Bilbo and Nom. It also seems that Bilbo is trying to twist people into acting against Jobie, Loran, and WoD.
I see two people defending each other, and one acting out against three people. It seems like Bilbo is acting more scummy, but he dosen't seem against town, just against people who seem to be acting townish.
