Wow. I really, really enjoyed watching this game as it progressed (as I'm sure anyone looking at the people viewing the thread noticed). At the time of my death, I strongly suspected DYH of being scum for devising a plan that ensured I would die. I'm glad Bat didn't reveal the answer to my question... "Is either DYH or Cyan scum?"
Once DYH started posting more, I realized he wasn't, and when he did his reread it was a blast to read along. I'm writing this down for the next awards so I can nominate DYH for best performance as town (barring superior performances that may happen latter in the year, of course).
I really thought BigTime was scum... oh well.
I hate wins like this where it has nothing to do with anything I actually did, but I'm glad the town pulled it out anyway.
EDIT: Oh, and if DYH hadn't pointed out the spelling error, I wouldn't have guessed GiaG was loran. I think loran did very well in this game, especially in comparison to other games I've seen him in.
People have to realize that, sometimes, the right play in the long run, esp. early in the game, is to go along with a lynch that you might not agree with, so that you don't become a suspect yourself.
Ged nods and points to himself, then arimnaes.

As for arimnaes, what he did wasn't scummy, no matter how many times you say it is.

It was seriously very frustrating to see people constantly asserting that the Bowler couldn't be a scum hat, when it so easily is.

bateleur is simply made of win. That's why his games are so awesome
Ged nods.

I never award MVP/LVP on the basis that I don't feel such things belong in what is essentially a team game. However, I would like to tip my hat (!) to my favourite Mafia post of all time: Ged's chalkboard drawing of the space helmet shooting Cyan. A timeless classic indeed.
Aw shucks, it feels good to be appreciated for my artistic talents!
@DD: Yeah, sorry about that. I really thought I was going to have to defend against that today and it's probably a good thing I was doing the re-read because it was going to be a pretty spotty defense. Basically, I was starting to get the inkling something wasn't right with the setup about that time and incorrectly presumed that bat would undermine the town by giving us a scum cop. Instead, it was a "clearly confirmed" StormBlind.
I appreciate the compliment on my play once I was able to focus on the game- thanks.
Second, Yuanti pulled a Kraj, and IP checked me and bertrand (And as a jerk, told me OF was bertrand). As a good faith thing, i told bertrand i was GIAG out of sympathy.
Arrgh! Two different people! Same IP does not mean same person!
Also, I was really unsure on what to do the day I got lynched. I said nothing at all. StormBlind basically sacked me (we had planned this in advance). I didn't want to attack him, and I didn't have much of a defense..
And I still think my vote on arim was justified, even from a townie's post of view. Between him or BigTime, I choose arim. What's wrong with that?
Anyways, was a pretty fun game, in spite of getting royally screwed. Can't wait for the next!

V/LA: 3/21-3/24 & 3/27-3/29
Fun game to read along with; well-designed, well-modded, well-played from what I saw. I like seeing how special rules can affect people's logic
Hahahahaha! I didn't notice that. That just makes it even more of a classic moment.
