I don't see what your motivation could be to hold back at this point. Your story clearly makes you one of the central players of this Day, and I think you're pretty aware of the danger this situation represents to your credibility as a loyal Human. Set up or not, you must play the hand you're dealt.... or at least that's what I think.
Does anyone else agree with me? I don't want to be the only person pressuring Axelrod here.
Spock is not portrayed correctly. If Vulcans are above petty emotions, what motivates him to join the most elite starship crew in the galaxy? I, on the other hand, have transcended the weakness of emotion and achieved a blissful lack of caring. Apathy is my strength, our strength, which prevents us from being all-to-human. In this spirit, may Meh be with you, always.
Yeah. And since no one has spoken up to support his claim I am a bit suspicious. But I'm hesitant to put pressure on him because he came out with his story veryy early on. Would a cylon come out with a made up story that early. Just doesn't seem prudent.

1) those who can support Axl's claim, will not due to personal "reasons," It may be that Axl is Defying orders not to speak about this secret. Those who know of this deactivation, are not to say until higher ranking officials give the go ahead.
2) No one can speak up for him, because no one else knows.
In either case, I doubt we will hear much from anyone else... So its up to you all.
Now, will it be secret ballad or do I have to tell you all my suspicions?
BK: from you original post, I got the feeling that you had some information of your own. Do you have anything to share?
Not really. It's best kept to myself, I think. Right now I lack the credibility to back up what I have with evidence; the rest of you would be completely incapable of judging whether I was telling the truth or not, and it would devolve into a coin flip. I'm tired of my games ending with all-in coin flips where the two vote leaders are me and the person I'm going against. I'm not going to let it happen this time, either, if I can possibly help it. I'm pretty sure that if I play less aggressively I can put my analytical skills to better use and be more of an Azrael-like asset to the games I'm in (whenever I am Human). Plus, I don't have anything that is conclusive in-and-of-itself anyway, so even I am not sure how reliable it is.
I think it's best if everyone more or less ignores whatever information I might have at the moment. I understand this post can make it seem like I might have something against Axelrod at the moment. I don't have anything against him right now, although he is still a suspect just like everyone else. I'm actually just curious about what he has said and has to say, especially since a random post by me "triggered" him to reveal a sizeable quantity of information. This implies fear, and that fear may or may not be because he's a Cylon. Determining the cause of his fear is one of my objectives for the day, although I believe only the suspect himself can help me achieve this goal.

This is poorly written. Should be "Right now I lack the credibility or the evidence to back up what I have; the rest of you would likely be incapable of judging whether I was telling the truth or not, and thus it would devolve into a coin flip."
I should be making a stronger effort not to jump to conclusions and to express myself more clearly.

There are three possible explanations for Axelrod revealing his information:
1) his info is real, and he revealed it out of fear due to being a Cylon (he wanted to be early on the claim wagon that could have occurred)
2) his info is false, and he "revealed" it to create suspicion and confusion as an attempt to off innocent Humans
3) his info is real, and he revealed it because it's one-time townie information that is best revealed early on before potentially losing the holder of that information
I would say that 1 and 3 are the most likely. 2 is a rather huge gamble, although Axelrod may be more daring than I thought.
Wow, I'm gone for a couple hours and 5 pages come up.
Hmm.... I don't know about Axel, but I'm thinking he's clear. Thats really complicated and I don't think he could randomly think that up, so he's either scum on the claim wagon or townie.
Whoever said that thing about Cyclon DNA: ...... Bad move. See what FB said.
As for me, lets just say my ability is quite saucy (aka sweet).

Yeah that wasn't exactly my finest moment. As for axel I think it would be just as big of a gamble to come out with the truth that early as would be to come out with a lie. So I can't quite judge what he (or indeed what I) was thinking.

Sorry bill, the "more later" part just meant I would be posting later, not that I have more information to reveal. I have now pretty much said everything I know.
As to the relevence of the information, I can't say. But I think the part about the ship being disarmed is meaningless in game terms--just for flavor purposes.

Subtle as a brick. I've got one tiny piece of information left. Believe me, it's tiny, but I might need it to defend myself later (or potentially clear someone else) so that I am also keeping to myself, along with my night ability.

This ship isn't defenseless. It is largely defenseless. I think someone has a weapon and an ability tied to that. Obviously it wouldn't be wise for the person to claim the possesion of such a weapon. If they are town then they would be all but signing their own death warrant and if they are mafia it would look suspicious to be taking such a risk. Just something to think about. As is said in axelrod's orginal "bear all" post he and Jon disarmed a majority of the ship's ammo.

So I went to the Weapon's Depot with another individual and disarmed most of the ship's ammo. This has had the effect of leaving the ship largely defenseless in the event of a large scale Cylon attack.
With my own emphasis added.

You tell me ;).
Unfortunately, I don't have anything to give in terms of game information, except the Nights in this game seem to work like the ones in Ender's Game Mafia, in which people will either be confined to rooms, or sneaking around in the corridors.
All of Axelrod's phrases indicate "at least." In other words, at least half of our weapons are down, etc. It still could be that all of our weapons are disarmed.
This is kind of a wacky idea, but is there any way we can get our weapons back online? It might actually be relevant.

Okay then. This leads us (at least me) to the question should we do anything about it. I was already saying that I'm going to fix them but then I thought that we don't know is anyone profiting from it and if someone does, is it good or bad thing. It could even help the Cylons in some twisted way. I don't know, any comments?
Unless its been booby trapped or something silly like that, it'd probably be in our advantage. The Cylons wanted them down, so it's common sense that the town will want them back up, if it's not simply a flavor quirk.
Hmmm...the ease with which we could fix the weapons systems brings me to 3 possible conclusions. 1) Its a trap 2)We try to fix them and fail 3)We actually fix them
However I don't see how fixing them is going to do us any good at this point. We still wouldn't know who is who.

I doubt it. My abiility does have its uses though... but we'll see.
As for re-arming, I'd like to put my neck on the line, if thats what it comes to. I'd like a lower ranking officer or another Spec. to come with me. If the commander could give me the go ahead, I can head down to the Weapons Bay now and get started. If you want to send someone along, it'd be helpful at the least....
Well then you're assuming the commander isn't mafia (nothing meant Az just a possiblility). I don't know either this whole thing is irrelevant or its a trap. It just doesn't feel right.

To me this looks like a Cylon ploy to get in good with the Townies. He wants another person to come along so that they can verify that they actually did something. I think we should watch Druid a little more closely.

I'm genuinely curious about this because I really thought the whole "disarming the weapons" thing was just flavor (not that I don't appreciate Jon confirming at least that much of my story.) I actually still think that it probably is and that would make this all just a wild goose chase.
Nevertheless, if people want to try to "re-arm" I am willing and should probably be the one to do it, right? After all, I should know what I did to the weapons in the first place. The "risk" is that Jon did something that I don't know about, but I just can't believe that is the case.
I am happy to go with someone else if you don't completely trust me, Urban Druid, or NavyJoe or whomever.

I suggested that another person come merely to be a helping hand... I've been on this ship for most of my Military career, I know what needs to be done and what my abilities are... one person can not Re-arm more than half of a battle cruisers armament.
Go ahead and be suspicious... we all die eventualy. Just know this: Time is of the essence.
To answer your fears: I'd be foolish if a Cylon were to attack whomever reactivates the weapons. Doing so would let on that the Cylon knew who was going, and where... and seeing as only a third of the crew is here, process of elimination can deduct who's who.
Its pointless for one person to go because if that one person dies then the crew is left with one less member and no farther than they were...
Druid, you seems to know a little bit more about this than the rest of us. Is Puzzle a high-up enough for you to get the go ahead. Or do we need to wait for Azrael?

I agree that someone high enough that command trusts should accompany the Druid and the specialist/corporal/pfc of his choice. I don't think the CO should go, cause that's always bad ju-ju. I throw my name in the hat as the person to go.
