According to Moxen's profile, he hasn't been online since about twelve hours before I posted that. I'd like to ask everyone to not vote for him until he posts explaining his reasons.
From what little I know of him, Moxen is a complete wildcard, so don't expect much of an explanation.
Does anyone else have an action to take? In light of Reed's instructions, I imagine that several people do, so it's not revealing too much to say this. But it's just possible that the Traitor Mafia don't get actions (because they get the night kill). I'd be interested in what others think about this?
Also, I am an idiot. Ask me later and I might explain.

Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.
So? He already had 2 votes, and yours put him close to the 50% mark. There were plenty of other people who hadn't posted either.
2) he has never played mafia before
That means he'll be much easier to read. We will probably be able to determine, without killing him, whether he's Loyalist or not, because he hasn't played enough to understand what are and aren't tells, and thus won't be able to hide information as well as the rest of us.
3) he posts to much.
This is completely irrelevant, except that in Mafia games it is usually beneficial to have a lot of posting so it can be analyzed.
1) not posted yet
2) he has never played mafia before
3) he posts to much.
NONE of those reasons make sense.
1) This thread has not been active long, so there's no way you could reasonably expect a person to post in so short a time. If someone fails to post within a single day/night cycle, THEN you have a good reason to vote, but not before.
2) How do you know that he has never played Mafia before? MTGNews and MTGSalvation aren't the only places to play Mafia.
3) Statement (1) and (3) contradict each other. How do you explain that?

3) Statement (1) and (3) contradict each other. How do you explain that?
1) He still hasnt posted
2) I dont. I have never seen him on news mafia before
And one more thing about Azrael's comment: I understand that some things should remain secret. For example, I'll tell everyone I'm the Lawyer (a Lawyer? Are there two?), but you can bet your bippy I'm not letting the Mafia know what that actually means. And since I have a very obscure, nonstandard role, I'm sure other people have obscure roles too. I doubt the Mafia could figure it all out themselves... but I digress. The point is that somehow or other we're going to have to share information during the day. Subtlety, innuendo, some sort of code, something, because this is a game of information, and without it we won't be effective, and the only time we have to share it is during the Day.
billking is telling the truth.
hey, i'm very bored. i think i need someone to entertain me. hey, there is an entertaining feud between two prolific posts in this game. it's very entertaining!
also, my previous vote wasn't random. btw, chrome moxen...
i think there was a security failure last night; how could security let them kill the don?
Hooray for completely pointless posting!
About Chrome: he's saying he was trying to put pressure on a lurker, the same way you guys had 3 votes on Chrome to try to get him to explain himself. I really don't see how this is different.
I had a FOS on billking before, but now I'm going to vote: billking and propose the posibility that he and Musashi are scum. Why did billking jump to try to get a bandwagon on another person instead of a lurker?

I never planned on starting a bandwagon. I thought that CM was scum, and asked him to explain himself. He did, and it was quite possibly the worst explanation ever. Either he's scum or an incompetant Townie, and either one is dangerous to the town, especially in such a small game.

Well, the accusations are flowing fast and furious now, with very little reasoning or analysis-just the way the Traitors would want it. How about we slow down a little here and discuss things. The most interesting thing I have heard is that Titus' vote on musashi wasn't random. Was that a hint, or does Titus just not like him personally?

the third person to vote for him (Azrael? I forget...) said that was his reason. my reason is the reason 20Bux cited in his post: people who are the third to hop on wagons are generally mafia. it's a strong tell. but don't take my word for it... go to the site I linked to. it's in one of my above posts. that, and there's the whole timing thing. it just seems like a lie to me. maybe you don't get it... if so, I hope someone can explain it to you better than I can. I suck at that sort of stuff.

If that's how you feel, put your money were your mouth is and vote for Mushashi. If I were trying to protect him, wouldn't he be the real target? If I was in this for self-preservation, I certainly wouldn't want more attention to myself; but, as is readily apparent, I have no particular drive towards self-preservation. If anything I do kills a Mafia, I'm a happy man — even if that's a happy dead man.

Spock is not portrayed correctly. If Vulcans are above petty emotions, what motivates him to join the most elite starship crew in the galaxy? In this spirit, may Meh be with you, always.
i can't help but notice the bandwagon against mushashi is picking up steam again?
hey, kcw, i'll make you a deal. you want me to vote for mushashi? i'll do it. i personally don't think he's scum, but he's a lurker, so **** him. plus, if he dies a townie, it proves everything you said about me defending him dead wrong, which I have to admit I wouldn't mind one bit. If by some miracle he's scum, even better. seems win-win to me.
however, i'd rather not vote for someone i suspect to be townie. i'm only going to change my vote if you accept my "bet." the terms aren't in stone, but i think you'd agree a point would be made. as soon as i notice a post from you telling me to vote for him, i will. have no doubt; i would rather die than be dishonered.

Sure. unvote billking, vote musashi.
For those who care, the reason that I've been defending Chrome so long is that I thought I remembered him acting similiarly in the other Mafia game. I just checked, and he acted the exact same: 3rd person on a wagon, everything. Oh, and he turned out to be the healer. That too.

A waiter, one who worked for the former Don, enters the room and sets a large bowl of noodles in from of billking, then motions for him to eat it. cautiously, billking lifts a forkful to his mouth, then finding himself not dead, eats the rest of the tasty meal.

Did axelrod serve a dish of The Noodles Of Truth (tm), which only affects Traitors?
Does billking have immunity to daykills of some sort?
Maybe axelrod is just an incompetent poisoner, and only has a chance of killing his daytime target?
Yes, yes, I am the Chef. I get to serve one dish during the daytime (not to myself). Frankly it's nothing spectacular. But it's not poison (how stupid would that be, to poison someone day one right out in the open?) So, billking, don't sweat it. I'm not going to say what it does at this point because, why should I? No reason to give the Traitors more info than they need.
I might note, however, that Titus had already cleared you before I did my action.
BTW Titus, are you just getting names of Roles or actual Traitor/Loyalist results also. You seem to be getting an awful lot of inspections for day one. Not that I'm complaining, but I'm curious how positive you are about this. Seems a bit gamebreaking, in fact.

Axel served a dish to billking, saying he is the waiter. Titus spoke up saying he knew for sure Axel wasn't scum.
I'm almost 100% sure Axel is telling the truth, but I'm going to point a FOS: Titus for making such a risky roleclaim this early. Usually, people roleclaim to say someone is scum; why did he do this?
Titus is saying musashi is scum. So can two more people just vote for him already. He hasn't posted yet either so if you want to justify it as a lurker vote you can do that too.

I won't be satisfied with voting for a lurker; I made that mistake in X-Men Mafia. If a particular poster really is inactive, the best solution is for the town to have him replaced with another player. Lynching lurkers is something that the Mafia WANT to do, since they don't have to give any real reasons for their votes.
Another things to consider is the possibility that some players may have been 'frozen' for the day. It may be a little far-fetched, but I was reading a post on mafiascum.net discussing night abilities, which included the ability to 'gag' a player over the next day. It's possible, although unlikely, that this is what is happening here.
Why do we assume the waiter is good? Heck, the dish could be slow acting poison, and we'll find billking dead tomorrow.
That's possible. It's also possible that axel isn't scum, but the mafia will kill me tonight to toss suspicion on him, hoping we'll lynch axelrod tomorrow.

I really hope your claim checks out, Titus. I figure right now is the best time to use this ability, so we can establish today for sure that Titus' claim is true, eliminate at least one scum, and take another likely candidate out of consideration as well.
I wish I didn't have to use both these abilities up at the same time for it to be most effective, that I could space it out, but unfortunately my likelihood of success (and survival) would be decreased if I did. But since I have to pick a single time, right now (when we have a large quantity of potential scummy targets) is probably the best possible time. I'm definitely not as sure about the last target as the first, but he's the closest thing we have to a second lead, so I'll have to take my chances and see how it goes.

peace of mind has a lot to do with predictability
before i beleived i knew, and was cool with it
now i'm just scared
i really don't know what the right play is anymore. i think i'm done for the day. plus, i can't really change my vote without kcw's permission anyway. (well i could but i won't.)
Spock is not portrayed correctly. If Vulcans are above petty emotions, what motivates him to join the most elite starship crew in the galaxy? I, on the other hand, have transcended the weakness of emotion and achieved a blissful lack of caring. Apathy is my strength, our strength, which prevents us from being all-to-human. In this spirit, may Meh be with you, always.
Did axelrod serve a dish of The Noodles Of Truth (tm), which only affects Traitors?
Does billking have immunity to daykills of some sort?
Maybe axelrod is just an incompetent poisoner, and only has a chance of killing his daytime target?
I might note, however, that Titus had already cleared you before I did my action.
BTW Titus, are you just getting names of Roles or actual Traitor/Loyalist results also. You seem to be getting an awful lot of inspections for day one. Not that I'm complaining, but I'm curious how positive you are about this. Seems a bit gamebreaking, in fact.
So, Axel, what's the point of your ability?
I'm just going to randomly vote Safetydance.
It's possible, although unlikely, that this is what is happening here.

my sig. made by me.
Here goes nothing.
Action Kill: Musashi
Action Kill: Chrome Moxen
Any last words, gentlemen?
why, that isn't entertaining!
btw: the don has a wife and son. and a daughet in law.
my first vote wasn't random.
traitors = wife and son (family) right? if not...

say no more, say no more.
all votings based on who is scum and who isn't are assumptions.
So are you a vigilante?
my sig. made by me.
