Worker: Well thats good sir. Its always a good idea to get some rest before a long day. So from the looks of you sir you look life a news person type. If you don't mind me askin as I mean no dissrespect sir are you a newspaper type. Because I know all types of stories that I bet someone like you would like to hear. But oh never mind me sir there I go again talking about stories when they best not be told. Best remember what the boss man said.
You arrive at your floor.
Worker: Well never mind me again sir. I apologize for wasting your time.
He politely opens the door to your floor and awaits your departure.

Walking down the hallway you pass the other rooms and a few small tables with lamps with white shades and white roses.
When you arrive at your room you insert you key to open the door and find that it isn't working. In fact when inserted the key doesn't turn at all. Additionally you find yourself unable to actually manipulate the key at all. Now that it has been inserted it just won't budge.

Nothing the door doesn't seem interested in budging what so ever. From somewhere down the hall you hear some whistling. Its a rather upbeat tune but every few notes appear to be completely off key.

The action is indeed fruitless as the door doesn't even appear to give as you bang on it. Almost as if it were braced. The whistling though continues from somewhere nearby and it appears to be getting louder.

Robert makes his way to the library and hails one of the people who works there. "Hey, I need some help. I'm trying to figure out what these numbers mean." He shows the note to the person.

Devon continues pounding the door. "STUPID! ☺☺☺☺ING! PIECE OF ☺☺☺☺! DOOR! Would you STOP THAT INFERNAL WHISTLING?!" Devon yelled, wheeling towards the man.
Arriving at the library the first person that Robert asks really gives him a puzzled look. Its an older woman who just shakes her head and replies.
Woman: I'm sorry son but I don't have a clue what those random numbers mean. You might want to try the reference desk they might be able to better direct you or try archives. This might be a book reference number for all I know.
Your cries of anger seem to go unchecked as the whistling get seems to apparently get louder. To make matters worse the tune is becomeing more disjointed and more maddening. Looking down the hallway you don't see a single figure that could be causing the noise just an empty hallway. But its not impossible that the noise if beyond one of the hallways turns.

As you walk down the hall you notice as the lights all around you flicker for a moment. Causing everything to go completely dark for a moment. Then the lights go back on. This event is rather startling. Still it must have been just a power surge. Everything seems fine until you pass those tables from before. The roses that had once been white are now a blood shot red and the lamp shades have something traced across them. The whistling has stopped for the moment through since the lights flickered. Possibly the source is gone.

Reference number? Might as well check that out. Robert goes to the reference desk and asks them where the book that would match the numbers is located.

OOC: Ok time for another legendary roll library use please + Idea. And by the way these arn't meant to be stacked against you I just figured you woluldn't fail one of the rolls.
As you wander into the library you figure out that this really isn't somewhere you tend to visit very often. So unfortunately the person who directed you towards the reference desk wasn't specific enough to tell you where this desk might be. There appear to be quite a few desks in this library a few of which are staffed. Which one is the right one is yet to be determined.

As you look down at the marks you find that it is not any normal red substance that marks the lamp shades but what can only be described as blood. The blood forms a repetitive symbol across the lamp. It looks like a star with an eye in its center staring into your soul. Its quite unnevering.
As you continue to stare into the mark you feel a hand settle onto your shoulder from behind you.
Voice: Excuse me sir are you alright?
The voice sound quite nondescript.
OOC: D4 roll giga.
Robert:
OOC: well no idea roll needed for you.
You find the desk in short order. Unfortunately the woman you remember isn't working today but there is an older looking man. He looks up at you through his heavy spectacles and asks you what he can help you with.

For a moment the figure you see has absolutely no face at all. Then after blinking once you find that your looking at a elderly looking fellow wearing staff garments.
Old man: Easy there sonny. No need to get yourself riled up. I was down the hall and heard ya yelling and thought that, maybe that crazy man had gotten back in. Everything ok.

Old man: Here let me take a look. This one here right?
After you nod he pulls out a huge ring of keys.
Old man: Happens from time to time. You just need the right touch. Ah here we go.
Pulling aside one of the keys the old man takes your key out of the lock and tosses it to you. They he inserts his key into the lock. You hear the lock slide out of place and he gives the knob a turn and shows that the door can now be opened.
Old man: There you go. That door shouldn't give you no more trouble. Now if you will excuse me I must go. I've more floors to check.
And with that the old man and his keys begin to jingle down the hallway as he leaves you with your seemingly unlocked door.

As you push open the door to enter your room, again the lights flicker on and off for a moment before finally staying lit. Pushing the door open the rest of the way you find that momentarily you are pulled directly into the room by a unseen force closing the door behind you. You find that you arn't standing in your room any more. At least not as you remember it. The room your in has everything burned to ash, many tones of gray are all over. Its as if this room had been pass through with a fire.
OOC: And you thought I was done with you.
