So, okay, I've been out of it. Busy with life and all. So let me get this straight. The NPCs have been doing nearly all of the scouting and we've been loafing around this abandoned tavern trying to figure out what to do? I hope not.
Not quite, Yukora and an NPC did most of the outside guarding/scouting while another NPC and Haldi (That would be me) decided we had had enough of the pointless arguments and decided to head up, checked one of the twenty rooms and are heading for the second, ASA decided to make his odds of survival almost nil and started the conversation from earlier, so if anyones been loafing around is your character

Call me old fashioned, but an evil ascension to power just isn't the same without someone chanting faux Latin in the background.

That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange eons even death may die.
Sorry guys. As it turns out, real life is annoyingly persistant. Bleh. I'll try to post more, but I make no promises until next week.
The next door Haldi opens is empty as well. (OOC: Assuming you continue to open doors here) In fact, every door on the top floor is empty. All 20. There are no signs that anyone has recently been in them, nor that they have been occupied within quite a while.
Marcus nods at Cyrus, then pokes his head in the door. "Vaihan. Something is out here. It's moving too fast to catch on foot. We're the only ones with horses, so we've gotta force it toward everyone so they can corner it."
Vaihan nods, shouting up the stairs to Haldi and Atram. "We've got something happening outside."
Vaihan and Marcus leap onto their horses, and take off down the alley. Aris and Karah come outside, bow in Karah's hand and glowing light in Aris's.
