"The real question regarding their explosivity is.. Did they harm each other when they blew up..?" Zan says, with an evil grin on his face. He continues with a single word: "Because..", assuming that the rest of the sentence is obvious to anyone with a bit of a brain left after the combat.
"Nevertheless, tie the creature up." He speaks, taking a rope out of his bag and throwing it next to the unconscious creature. "That one's not dead yet, and if we can make them speak any coherent language we might learn a lot of useful stuff. That, or we can hold it as a hostage." Then, after taking a slight pause, he speaks, glancing quickly at Charir. "If everything else fails, I am certain we'll find some use for the creature."

taking a few moments to collect himself Rovanam then passes his hand through his marut head and curses profoundly, to have forgotten something as fundamental as to assure all his Ki was properly in control! it is unthinkable, its a mistake only the rabble he is with would commit, truly he is magnanimous for he must have been so concerned for the actions of this insignificant creatures that he forewent his own safety, truly there's no higher aspiration for this serfs than to serve him.
Having realized his graciousness Rovanam then proceeds to meditate, it seems the storm made a mess of his chakra and will take some time to re arrange it back to the way it should be, but at least for now he can fix the most light of damages and make sure he is better protected next time.
A crystal helm forms around the Marut, and it rests comfortably there as Rovanam aligns his chakra points and makes sure his ki is flowing there in a constant perfect manner.
Once that's done he returns to the world of the insignificant rabble and decides he is to observe and measure this serfs, better to know what it is they are capable of rather than have them rely on his magnificence all the time.
"Before you think about interrogating it, i would suggest you either move to a more secure location where healing can be provided, or at the very least move some of the wreckage and form barricades so you are not exposed to another dart attack like you where moments ago" the Marut with spines says to the group in a bored almost exasperated tone
Question because I dont think this was addressed, but do we know each other? I know Halinn and Amadi's character have a lovey dovey relationship but what about the rest, did we converse or talk during the trip? I doubt Rovanam would have done that but still i would rather know if there's anyone that tried to talk to him, since at least that way he has a means of being a bossy obnoxious monk

Ok so unless any of the party is an outsider or Skarn Rovanam did not even given them a thought which is great for me because him being a complete jerk is part of the LN package

Ventas wouldn't have cared enough to associate with anyone, so I'm just assuming he knows nobody.
Hm... Ventas thinks. The monk believes itself to be our superior. The kobold has either a mean streak or a demented sense of humor or both. The girl is loud, but competent; She positioned herself between the arrows and me, suggesting she knows the value of teamwork . The man with the knives is obviously intelligent, and seems the most reasonable. The wizard... Bah. Ignore him for now. The elf girl with the wolf is unknown.
Snapping out of his musings, Ventas looks at the small, explosive creature. "We could use it as a bargaining chip if any more of them come back," he says thoughtfully. "Could anyone understand what they were shouting?"
Ventas whistles, and his falcon drops out of the sky again, this time landing on Ventas' oustretched arm. "Watch yourself," he says quietly to the bird. "The elf girl's eyes flitted toward the sky as she spoke. Either she saw you," the falcon somehow manages to give Ventas a scathing look. Ventas smirks. "Or she thinks something dangerous might be flying around up there. Stay low. If you see anything in the skies, land on my shoulder."
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
"I suggest dragging the body and as much food as we can carry at least a mile or two on the shore, until we find some rocks we can barricade ourselves behind. We all need rest after the storm and that combat." Zan responds to the pompous spikey-guy, as he walks picking his thrown daggers up and returning them to their sheathes. "If you don't, you can take the first watch. You'd put it above yourself to kill us anyway, so I don't think we have a need to be cautious with you."
After Zan is sure none of his possessions got lost in the battle, he walks to the unconscious body. "Either way, somebody help me tie this bastard."
Aid another, plx. Use rope is rolled only when the subject tries to escape, though, or then ASA can roll it in secret. My bonus is +3, +10 from binding a subject. Each succesful (DC10) aid another check increases it by 2. That is the DC for the creature to escape.

"Hmm... I'm not sure if the native is as valuable as we speculate," says Ashruevul. "They sent warriors at almost-even odds at us, clearly armed. With a genetic disposition toawrds exploding... I'm not sure they'd value a single life as much as we think."
"If nothing else, I want to see if their acid can be extracted and potentially used as a weapon against other creatures that inhabit this island. This may or may not kill the creature, though." Zan says, seemingly not caring much of the creature's fate. "Allright. Let's set up a camp here, fellas. I have a some caltrops to improve our defenses."
Can we have an approximate map of our surroundings, mostly the campsite. We probably want to barricade ourselves by moving some rocks of decent size to it, and if anyone has an axe or a large sword, by felling a few trees as well.
EDIT: Also, does the island have coconuts, or any other hollow fruit. What about Bambu or such. Both should make decent containers for potions when prepared. Coconuts if we'd find a way to drill a hole into them, and with bamboo we can do something like this, just with something to seal the top. Something like a piece of wood carved to right shape.

Map is attached. You're coming in from the east end. Obviously the blue is the ocean, the green is the jungle. The black blotches are relevant rocks in the area. The grotto is an eroded area of the island where the sea has created a series of caves.
The section of the grotto is only a rough estimate of the layout of the cave passageways. You guy's haven't been inside yet or explored much.
Amarra stepped forward. "I have a simple spell at my disposal that would allow me to do some exploring. Is there anyone that can come as some back-up?"
"I am fairly certain I can make something glow, if that is needed, although we could just lit a torch." Zan says, looking at the cave entrance. "Just let me prepare for a few minutes before we barge in." Zan then proceeds to reach for his bags for certain herbs and a few patches of rabbit fur he uses in some kind of spellcasting ritual taking roughly two minutes.
"Allright, ready to go."
2x Personal Weapon Augmentation, apply my weapons with Assassination enhancement (Worth +1.). Takes me a few min to cast, though.

"I will go" is all Rovanam says, he does not trust this servants yet, if anything where to be found inside it is likely they will be greedy and not give the proper tithes to their superiors.
Question, are we healed yet? I added the New level HP to my current one but wasn't sure if we healed enough already to be in the clear
"Allright, here's the plan, mylady. I'll cast the glow on a rock or a twig, and someone'll carry it. I'll scout ahead in the edge of darkness, ready to strike if anyone notices you. A light source from someone else should provide enough distraction for me to surprise them." Zan says, looking in the cave with his daggers in his hands and ignoring Rovanam. "It's a bit unorthodox, but I promise I won't back up on this. If I did, I'd be left in a cave with the creature between the only entrance we know of and me."
For the next 20 minutes I effectively have 2d6 sneak attack, which combined with AoO and readied action to hit should dispatch of almost any creature that is not immune.

"Allow be to aid you with a blessing from Boccob," says Ashruevul. He lifts his arms slightly, and quitly chants to his diety. A wash of energy, chilling to the skin yet warm to the heart wraps itself around the explorers.
"Someone has to stay out here and keep those exploding creatures from trapping us in the caves." Ventas says mildly. "I'll need someone else to stay out here with me..."
He looks over at Ashruevul. With an almost undetectable edge of derision in his voice, Ventas says "The wizard-priest and I should be able to ensure no creatures get into the caves behind the rest of you."

Zan infuses Amarra's weapon to glow bright light, then heads into the cave. "Let's just hope there is nothing that can see in the dark, here.."

Amarra chuckled when Zan laid out his plan. "I don't mind being bait, it's always fun to take a risk every now and then. Name's Amarra, by the way. I don't think I've caught the names of anyone."

I said that while on the ship not everyone has been acquainted with everyone.
It's up to you guys to decide which characters you do know, if any, for RPing purposes.
Someone can make a use rope check to tie up the beastie and then you guys can decide whether you want to run east or west.

I guess we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
Moving things along...
After traversing about a mile along the beach the group finds a small grotto where they can find cover.
EDIT: I've been nathed!
