Gordon walks down the hall slowly. The light is dim and flickering here, and it's oddly very quiet. Turning the corner, he sees the dim shadows. Behind a wall-mounted server, the source of the flickering light, he sees a dim shadow.. and more shadow just ahead.

He sees the first shadow, behind the server: Clearly someone sitting against the wall, hunched over. Moving a little. The other shadow beyond hides two more human figures, standing together.
The small object clatters against the floor, several meters from the figures. They seemed to notice, turning and hobbling towards Gordon, two more disfigured humanoid creatures with the crablike heads, blood and slime and pus dribbling from their many open orifices as they reached like zombies at Gordon.
Plucking up courage, Gordon decides to meet these creatures and show them not to mess with Black Mesa. He takes a mighty swing with his crowbar and the pointed end jams right into the thing, sticking it hard and making yellow blood fly. It stumbles but is still standing. Both swipe at Gordon, angrily.
(I'm forgoing HP damage to monsters. If you hit it enough it dies. I think I've mentioned this before. You however still take HP damage.)

Both of the creatures stick their claws into him. Maybe now's not a good time to take on these things.
There's plenty of room in the hall to try and flee the creatures. They don't seem particularly bright or quick moving. They do seem intent on ripping Gordon's chest open though. From this hall, Gordon can rush past towards the locker room, or to the lobby or the coolant facilities.
Feeling the effectiveness of the crowbar, and the effectiveness of the creatures' slashing, Gordon decides that retreat may be the best option. The locker's just a dead end. Emphasis dead. Keeping the crowbar between him and the zombies, he backs away, circling around and making for the lobby.
Sorry for the slowness of posting. I'm trying to just stay consistent.
Gordon pulls away from the lumbering creatures and skirts past. He hears nothing from the hall that leads to the locker room. Rounding the corner to the fork that leads to the lobby or the coolant systems, he sees no one, hears no one. It's eerily quiet. The zombies behind him can't run. They hobble along slowly. Gordon can outrun them, provided he doesn't run out of places to go.
Going into the lobby, he sees that the monitors are all off: half of them have blown up. A scientist that was standing in front of them lays on the floor, his face scorched and his body covered in the thousands of glass shards. The computer at the desk has shorted.

Gordon sees, down near the floor, an air duct. Remembering Black Mesa policy, all service ducts are large enough to hold a person within. This duct seems to go into the computer mainframe on the other side of the wall.
Feeling a pain in his chest from the slash, Gordon takes his crowbar to the edge of whatever grating may remain, and pulls it off and away. He then starts to crawl into the duct. He realizes that there is a good chance that the head... crab... things, whatever they were, were probably able to get in here.
Gordon hears the voice in his helmet. "Major lacerations detected. Medical systems engaged. Morphine administered."
The Hazard suit was now fully aware of his injuries, now that he'd gotten himself out of that fight. The nanomachines in the suit were easily invading his pores, setting to work to him. Soon enough, the pain in his wounds is dulled, making the endeavor easier. The grate opens with a clang. The duct isn't very long at all, going just a short distance into the computer room.
Crawling out of the vent, he sees the walls of computer monitors and servers, flashing and flickering, sparking violently. The scientists inside having evacuated. Half of the place seemed to have come apart. The whole room was sparking and fizzing. He sees a lone headcrab, waiting for him, but suddenly a whole wall-sized server explodes and falls splat on the creature, flattening it.
Gordon sees a medical station mounted on the wall on the right--and the door out of the station blocked by a mountain of rubble of computers, slanting up to the left upper wall.
Gordon has his crowbar ready the instant he spots the headcrab... and then relaxes as the server crushes it. "Okay then," he says.
He heads over to the medical station in the meantime, plugging into it. As the machine works, he looks at the computer mountain, seeing if it heads to some kind of hole in the wall or ceiling.
The suit instantly responds to Gordon's access. He hears a low humming in his ears and watches the machine slowly tick away the percentage of its reserve power, pumping specialized nanomachines into his suit, and into his body to heal the wounds swiftly.
Gordon analyzes the mountain of rubble that was once a computer and spies another vent, this one on the top of the wall, at the end of the mountain as it leans against it. It would take a bit of climbing to get up there.
Gordon climbs up the rubble with a bit of effort, crawling to the top and coming to the vent. Crawling inside and going out the other side of the wall, he sees that the drop down is not far. He's exited out towards the other hall, leading to the coolant controls and water treatment. It's a good thing he went this way; a large wall of rubble has blocked the way in from the conventional route; looks like the ceiling collapsed. The only way to go from the vent is further into Sector C, past a few offices and into the next sector.
(Sorry again for the not-posting. Poke me if I don't reply promptly.)
Gordon carefully steps down the hall. He sees two main offices with windows inside. The one on his right is dark, the power out in the room save for the computer on the far wall desk, the monitor blinking white. In the chair in front of the monitor is someone.. or something. It's moving.
On his left, through the window, Gordon sees a lit office, with a scientist barricaded inside. As Gordon approaches, he sees a headcrab leap at the scientist. The scientist dodges, and swiftly knocks over a filing cabinet, crushing the creature. The scientist gives a cheer, but suddenly an unseen second headcrab leaps on the scientist's head, taking him down. His body twitching as the creature seems to be biting through his skull somehow.
Gordon may try to enter these offices, or he can keep moving forward. He sees a sign pointing to the Sector C Coolant Treatment on the far wall.
Gordon peers into the left office--the poor scientist who had killed one headcrab only to succumb to a second was still twitching. The door to the office was closed and locked. A keypad code was required to enter--a code Gordon didn't know. The other office was not locked and was dark save for the flashing monitor. Gordon's flashlight didn't change much of what he saw. Someone, or something, was sitting in front of the computer, still moving. The door was unlocked to this office.
After checking for ammo, and finding none, he nonetheless takes the gun, figuring that if he finds ammo later on, he'll have a weapon at least.

Mentally cursing, he takes a small chunk of debris, and throws it across the room, off to one side. He has to make sure.

Right now, you need to be focused on survival, he thinks to himself. Get yourself and whoever you can out, send in help.
To this end, Gordon walks cautiously over to the window with the obscured man in it, and taps the glass cautiously.
