It means I should write separate posts from the rolls rather than edit the existing post so that people don't get impatient and respond before I finish.
Or alternately, it means I should roll physical dice rather than use the forum, but I was going for transparency.
"Hold up!" Dieknuh calls, waving for the second wagon. "If we can take the wagons off the road and circle around, we might avoid provoking them." Nonetheless, she removes her warhammer from its loop, resting it on her shoulder.
I wanted to make the wheels octagonal before we set off atleast on the wagon Iso was sleeping in
"That would be a sensible idea, but I want a closer look at what it is they have found to eat. We might have found our first trace of one of the missing wagons or that unfortunate Sherrif." I then drop down from the Black Gelding I have been riding, look to Korvat and draw my Longbow an knock an arrow. "Would you care to cover us Korvat?"

"Strathalmere speaks truly. Whatever these boars are feeding on, it died right next to the road. It's worth at least a cursory look."
Reed reaches into the back of the cart and gives the Blessing of Finian to the gnome.
bLatch's character gets advantage on stealth rolls.
"I could get us by fairly easily, but they seem to have already noticed us, and I for one am already sick of trail rations."
Reed pulls his wagon to a halt and stands up along the front of the cart.
No need for me to actually get off the wagon, however.
If I'm not around for this, I'd like to use Guiding Bolt on a creature. It's Ranged Spell Attack (+6 modifier) that does 4d6 radiant damage, and the next attack against the target I hit gets advantage (as long as it happens before the end of my next turn). I'll use it twice, than switch to my sacred flame cantrip for the duration, which deals 1d8 damage versus a DC 14 Dex Save. I will wait to act, however for my fellow adventurers.
Korvat looks at the ranger and shakes his head, setting down the bow and drawing his greataxe. It's been far too long since I've gotten to kill something. To eat. Of course. I've gotten rather... hungry.
"Tonight. We feast!" I shout, and then unleash a wordless cry that twists into an ear-splitting shriek. The air around me fills with tense energy, and my demeanor shifts, from calm and detached into something predatory. I pause for a second as the sensation sweeps through me, examining the boars for a good target, poising to strike.
Dice Roller1 D20 rolled with a +2 modifier
14 + 2
I'm now raging. I can dash as a Bonus action and get a variety of bonuses. As soon as I confirm I'm okay to act, I'm going to hit the nearest boar with everything I've got. This likely means dashing to it and performing a Reckless Strike (advantage to hit it, but then anything attacking me for a round will have advantage) and using the Great Weapon Mastery feat to take a +10 damage on the attack in exchange for a -5 to hit.

Initiative rolls it is. I'm giving 24 hours from the first initiative roll (so, from Jay's post) as that marks the start of combat. Make initiative rolls, declare your first action (and if you'd like, your plan for the remainder of combat as that will make things resolve much faster), and we'll resolve the first round of combat in ~22 hours. I'm not going to bother with drawings for now, since this should be fairly straightforward combat. For the purposes of ranged attacks, the lead wagon is currently 30 feet from the first boar, and the boars are all standing with a 15 foot (diameter) circle of the carrion. You're on an open road with no cover save for your wagons. The weather is currently warm and clear, with a slight breeze from the southeast.
Boars
Dice Roller1 D20 rolled
12
With a roll that bad, I don't think the boars will even get a turn.
Sorry guys for starting combat if you had more stealthy/investigative things you wanted to do first. Barbarians, eh?
With another shriek, Korvat lunges forward, feet barely touching the ground as he closes to the nearest boar, pushing off of the ground to descend on it with a devastating overhead strike.
Dash as a bonus action, so I cross up to 60 feet to the closest boar. If, for whatever reason, this provides an attack of opportunity, it will be at Disadvantage.
Reckless Strike + Great Weapon Master strike means I strike with Advantage, but at a -5. With +4 from strength and +2 from proficiency, this is a net of +1
Dice Roller2 D20s rolled with a +1 modifier
17 + 1
4 + 1
If it hits, it will deal 1d12 + 10 (GWM) + 2 (rage bonus) + 4 (STR bonus)
Dice Roller1 D12 rolled with a +16 modifier
3 + 16
Any attacks made against me for the remainder of the round will have Advantage. AC=15, and I Resist piercing/slashing/bashing damage.

Reed raises a hand to the sky and a bright ball of light appears in his hand. He points his arm forward dramatically at one of the boars and the ball of light leaps forward from his hand and streaks toward the target.
Combat! My target doesn't matter. My initiative roll was high, so I assume I'll be one of the first to move. I might as well make my first roll. It's Ranged Spell Attack (+6 modifier):
Can I cast Crown of Madness on Korvat to make him wait his turn
I'll allow it.
Nah, it's ok, I was mostly joking.
Paravrax mumbles something under his breath about impatient barbarians and begins to summon an elemental orb and launches it at a different boar than the one that Reed chose.
Assuming that I have the components (I didn't actually check this when I chose the spell) I will cast Chromatic Orb, not Crown of Madness. Ranged Spell Attack with a +1 modifier:
Dice Roller1 D20 rolled with a +1 modifier
2 + 1
It does 4d8 damage at the spell slot level it's in. This may be excessive, but . I choose...acid damage.
Dice Roller4 D8s rolled
6
1
5
4
EDIT: I assume this means I missed.
EDIT EDIT: It turns out I can't actually cast this spell, because I'm missing a specific component.
I assume all combat actions will actually be resolved in initiative order, I was jut getting it out there in case I didn't have the chance to later. Also, I'm not sure what Crown of Madness does, but I have a feeling it would be a Bad Thing to do to me.

Nah, I'll just use my Sleep spell to try to put the furthest two boars to sleep. I could have tried to do this before we got into combat to see how many I could mug to make this easier, but alas.
I'm not sure if this uses Ranged Spell Attack, but just in case:
Dice Roller1 D20 rolled with a +4 modifier
10 + 4
Roll for amount of affected HP:
Dice Roller5 D8s rolled
8
6

5
I also want to use my Distant Spell ability if they're too far away for a regular Sleep spell.
I'm not sure if I can effectively stay mounted during the whole fight; seems like it would be difficult to hit boars from horseback. If it makes more sense, I'll dismount in the first round, otherwise I guess I'll stay mounted.
1st Round: Cast Shield of Faith on myself, follow the barbarian up to his target. (Maintain Concentration on Shield of Faith until otherwise noted.)
2nd Round: Help Korvat attack (his first attack against the target gains advantage, so roll two D20s and take the higher). Edit: Since Korvat is providing plenty of distraction on his own, I'll simply join in the bacon bashing.
Dice Roller1 D20 rolled with a +5 modifier
16 + 5
Dice Roller1 D8 rolled with a +3 modifier
4 + 3
3rd Round: Attack with morningstar, focusing on the same creature as Korvat
Dice Roller1 D20 rolled with a +5 modifier
4 + 5
Dice Roller1 D8 rolled with a +3 modifier
7 + 3
Emeryn holds up a cautioning hand, then curses as her eager companions run by and begin flinging all manner of magical energies over her head. "Finian take these fools," she mutters under her breath. She then touches a fist to her forehead, and a sheen of bright energy passes over her armor. Drawing her long ebon morningstar, she plunges into the fray.
I assume all combat actions will actually be resolved in initiative order, I was jut getting it out there in case I didn't have the chance to later. Also, I'm not sure what Crown of Madness does, but I have a feeling it would be a Bad Thing to do to me.
Yes, we'll resolve in initiative order. And yes, Crown of Madness is bad.
Fun as all get-out, but bad.
Also, this is technically out-of-game but I want to announce this before the first resolution: If another character's action would grant you advantage/disadvantage before your action resolves, I'll roll the second die for you in the resolution post. We've got enough people who can pass advantage out that I can see this coming up. There's no sense in slowing down the game waiting on people to reroll because someone higher in the initiative order gave them a boost.
Sorry. Initiative is d20+DEX mod, right? I'll roll once I can get home and check my character sheet.
The elf narrows his eyes and draws his shortsword, fluidly leaping from the wagon and charging towards the boars.
I am using Dash as a free action. Because of my Charger feat, I can attack as a free action if I am Dashing at an enemy. So I'll be going for the boar that will be least targeted. I also have Advantage against enemies that have not acted yet, and I will be using my regular action to attack the boar, as well.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't I also Sneak Attack an enemy that I have advantage against? Or is it under other circumstances?

I think you mean you're Dashing as your actual action, and then Bonus Action attacking using the Charger Feat - Actually, I see that Rogues can Dash as a Bonus Action, but remember that you only get one Bonus Action per round, so you can either Dash as your action and attack with Charger as a bonus action, or Dash as a bonus action and attack normally as your action.
(If Kaburi would allow it, I'd strongly recommend changing to something else other than the Charger Feat, it's highly useless given the above information)
Edit: Hold up, how do you even have a feat at level 3 with an Elf? Only the Variant Human gets a L1 Feat.
Also yes, Sneak Attacks can be made on anyone you have advantage on, as long as you are using a finesse weapon
