From across the great vastness you hear a whisper, and suddenly all things have changed. One great fellow from eons away has spoken of time, and you find yourself marveling at the idea of it. Though, for all the wonder that is held within this simple notion, a greater thing rests before you. The twisting infinite crack and stretch, and you find that you are standing, a new concept to a timeless one such as you. Standing in a great hall, the walls of molten darkness and the air of choices. Before you, there are the others that you have known without time. Strange, only a moment, and you already understand time, and all it's pieces. Still, what lies before you is far greater that this curious development... time.
In an unknowable place, seven beings gazed upon one another in a circle. They knew each other well, yet this was the first time they had witnessed the others. A figure of law, lines, and stone stood to one side. To another, a form of cold darkness and survival. A string of wavering fluid was there, and a pure, white flame was across from it. A figure at once both dark and light stood in a twilight haze, while a hole in all that was or ever would be loitered to the side. A small, winged mote of light took up the seventh point of the star. Each of these figures not only gazed upon each other, however, but upon something far more interesting than that.
The vast curtain pulled back from these stones, and they collapsed together. Many hundred thousand sparks were lit, and collision after collision turned stone to fluid. Through the haze of a nebula, the sun made it's first journey across the surface of this fetal world, lava belching an atmosphere forth. As seven beings contemplated this sight, it cooled, and thick atmosphere condensed into oceans, but it was still barren, a flat rock covered with water. What was the meaning of this fascinating thing? An egg. What would it once day become?

Go Eses, bring law to this lawless world! (Don't roll an additional 2d6 until your next round. You already have your power points for this round.)
A portal appears in this empty world. Eses walks out to it, and smiles. "An empty canvas!" he smiles, and he goes to work. He pulls out a map of this uninhabited world and thinks for a bit. "What do I want first?" Eses looks down at the pure grass and closes his eyes. "What are the most lawful beings in existence?" He mulls it over for a bit, then a single thought came to him: Humans. "If I want to build a flourishing society, humans must do the work."
Eses looks at the map of the world. Ah, so pristine and fresh. "Looks divided," Eses mutters. "Where would my children flourish?" Eses starts at step one. "Humans need food in order to live," Eses looks at the sky. "How will I sustain them for the next 200 years?" Eses decides on the northwestern arc to sustain his humans. Eses then shapes the land a bit to include some trees, enough for any race to eat, but not really a forest.
Eses admires his work. These humans probably won't be starving. With a smile, Eses conjures up a portal and vanishes.
The cold wolf looks upon the world, and the possibilities whirl around him.
"A place for hunter and hunted to dance,"the wolf muses aloud, though it doesn't care if the others can hear.
He looks at the world, and at his whim, a vast swath of forest ripples forth from the ground.
"And cold, to prove themselves worthy of their home," and again the wolf exerts his will. A rush of arctic air fills the newgrown forest, and for the first time, snow falls on the world.
Will spend 6 power points to create a 2" forest of pines and evergreens on the north-eastern most part of the world, then 2 more points to make it constantly cold in one half of the forest.

Auqron was diving, falling through a waterfall of dust, a vast nebulae. His diminutive, pink form zipped past stars, asteroids, moving far faster than anything should ever move, and with dexterity that he shouldn't have been capable of, given his speed. Up ahead in the distance, he had his target.
He broke away from the sea of dust and was suddenly in open space, only his speed carrying his towards his mark now...
*psh*
A tiny pink fish had just fallen from the sky and into the ocean, making only the tiniest of splashes as it broke through the surface.
Auqron was content to simply wander the oceans of the world for now. Water was a very pleasant medium to move through. Slippery, cool, enough resistance to make the journey fun, and even mildly transparent, except when vast quantities of it were present.
Eventually, he was moving through the north, curiously watching as another from that room before, the form of angles and laws, made some structures on the land. He wondered at the intent of these objects, but did not dwell, instead moving on.
Later that year, he came across another of the original seven, the icy darkness this time. Odd, it was creating things as well. Spires of wood, and the air, so much like itself. Perhaps this was a thing to do... maybe he, Auqron, should try to see what he could make.
It took him a time to find a proper place to begin his creating, an island. He wanted to make something like those that he had seen the others make, but wanted a small enough space to get it all in a single pass. A practice run, if you will.
He focused and swam, through the air above and the water below. Slowly, the earth began to change, simple life swelling from the ground above and below the water, as Auqron passed through. It took time, years, for the life to change into what he need it to be, but Auqron was patient.
Slowly, a mountain rose from the surface of the island, and thin forest rose from the rocks upon the side of the mountain. In the ocean around it, rock chasms and a dizzyingly complex maze of coral filled the water. Though, Auqron wasn't satisfied. He wanted the forest to grow quicker, the coral, more vibrant. So he rose into the sky, into the highest reaches of the atmosphere and beyond, into the void, and he snug rays of the sun far beyond, tilting them this way and that, making the world around his little island hot, the water evaporating quickly, causing thick mists and torrential rains.
When Auqron returned from the sky, the forest roared with the sounds of a million insects, vines hanging from the towering, massive trees, the forest had spread far and wide, only refusing to go to the top of the mountain he had erected, and in the ocean, shrimp, and other tiny creatures modelling themselves in his image had taken up residence in the coral reefs and rock chasms.
This was a good start.
Spent 6 points, 3 adding a mountain and forest to the island in the far west, 3 points to turn the terrain under the surrounding water into a radial pattern of rock gorges with a maze of coral in and above them, reaching almost to the surface of the water. 2 points spent to make the climate of the island itself 'hot', so it goes from 'forest', to 'jungle'.
Orthuul walked the land. It was easy, trivial even. There were no slopes where Orthuul walked, no cliffs or crevices. Gentle hills were the sum of the entire land. This would not do. Mortals need challenge. Without challenges, there are no goals. Without goals, life will not thrive. It would simply survive. Life would be stale, stagnant, boring.
But Orthuul could change that.
Turning, he examines the ground he has walked over thus far, and from it rips rock and earth upward. Towering mountains spring from the earth, taller than any mortal could ever climb, but not higher than they could ever dare.
Mortals here, at least would have something to inspire them to work for more. They would have a challenge, and become great in its pursuit.
Taking the ~1" peninsula that is almost straight east of the island Rith formed on, and forming mountains there and mountains in the inch directly north of there. This costs 6 points leaving me with 2.

Zunadj surveys the land, seeing it out of balance, but in subtle, nuanced ways.
He decides to erect a central point, from which he can watch things play out.
Spending 3 points to create a massive pyramid-shaped mountain/stone-heap (solid stone, not made from bricks) 1' by 1' at the center of the map.
Ending with a total of 3 points.
Can we perhaps skip over Flabort? He hasn't been online for a week. We could just skip him over this turn and give him his power points for next turn if he still hasn't shown up by then.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
Yeah, skip him. He holds his points back. Gonna go ahead and say that if the game gets back around to him and he takes more than 24 hours to post then as well, a cosmic calamity happened and Dioblid is no more.
Puck appears on the very slightly varied land and looks around. One gloved hand moves to his face, rubbing at his chin. There's just so much... Sameness around here. So much, and yet so little. This should be changed. But what would be 'fun'? What could he use to make things interesting for the future? Hrm.
Ah.
Puck vanishes. And then appears on a small island, untouched by his brethren. Between two large landmasses, which will likely be the sight of rather interesting events in the future. But for now, something interesting. Puck focuses his energy on that island, focuses. Focuses. And pops. But he leaves behind something... Different on the world. Something that'll surely create fun in the future.
Using a 1" land change on that very central island and the surrounding islands. The major island, from now on, will go through 'off' and 'on' stages, buoying up on natural gas formations for lengthy periods before sinking beneath the sea. The surrounding islands in that 1" space will have a slightly less pronounced effect, only sinking enough for the islands to be covered by a small amount of water. Nearly invisible due to the reflectiveness of the water, but still possible to be walked.
The white wolf runs through his forest for a time. How long? It could be a day, it could be a year. The wolf doesn't care. All that matters is the freedom to hunt and move and live.
He is vaguely aware of the others, moving the world around him. A pyramid of stone, a labyrinth of rock under the ocean, a jungle in the west.
Interesting.
Perhaps his snowy forest should expand before the others try to impose themselves in his domain. He runs south, out of his forest, snow flaking off his coat as he moves. Wherever the snow touches earth, the earth responds. It shudders, buckles, and is shaped to his liking. His presence cools the air until permanent winter sets in.
Yes, this will do nicely.
Will spend 3 points to expand the pine forest 1" south and turn the land the forest is on into mountains. Then 2 points to lower the temperature to winter in that patch of forest. Then spend 2 points to drop the weather to winter in the part of the forest I missed last turn.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
Auqron was taking a break from his work over in his little patch of ocean and wandering about the world once more. More from that original place had come. Over there, not far from his own place, the white flame was raising titanic mountains from the ground. Here there was the mirrored being summoning a perfect shape of stone, balanced at the heart of this world. And over there... an island was missing.
Wait, no, it was just underwater...
Wait, it's rising again...
...Auqron likes Puck.
Back to work, then...
With a flourish, the fish god whipped out through the ocean once more, focusing as he carved still more gorges and coral reefs beneath the ocean, forging a trail straight up to the mountains of the white flame, connecting his undersea rock formations with those above sea. As years passed, Fjords were formed, cliffs, all encrusted with barnacles and seaweed.
Meanwhile, Auqron had returned to the void above, and was calmly spreading the radius of heat out from his island. When he finally returned, the waters around the jungle island had taken a greenish hue, from the abundance of algae in the waters. Not only this, but the warmth in the gorges and along the coral reef had caused groves of kelp to rise up, and thousands of breeds of fish and crabs to grow, flowing in schools through the labyrinth of coral and scurrying in vast clutches along the ocean floor.
Spent 5 points. 3 points to create more gorges and canyons underwater, up to the point that they connect with Orthuul's mountains and forms fjords and caves. 2 points spent to make the climate of the ocean around the coral reef I made last time 'hot'.
Orthuul grinned and flexed his muscles in preparation. That had been a good warm up, but now he saw more opportunity for a rugged landscape.
He trudged out onto the ocean and pointed to each shore. Then in one swift motion, two new branches to his mountain range where torn from the featureless plains to surround the water he stood on.
Spending 12 points to create 4" of mountains, but in 2" lines. Each connected to the northern inch of mountains I made on my last turn, hugging the shoreline of the sea that cuts into the middle of that continent.

Okay, Gallus holds his points as well. He will be subject to the same rule that I put forward for Flabort. Also, as Flabort has not been active on any of the other forums, and he was having some RL issues that make me doubt he's gonna be coming back soon, we're gonna go ahead and move on.
Go Nai.
If you read this, your 24 hours have not yet passed, so you can still ninja a post in sometime in the next 24 hours, regardless of how many people have posted since your last "turn". However, if you do not manage to get a post in, you're out.
Lost that post. Damn. 6+4+1=11, +1 for remaining post. Leaving me 12 points for this round.
Puck looks over the island with a pleased eye. Of course, it's not done yet. Not by any means. That island is too... Flat. You can't see it from far away. Who would lust after an island they can't see? So Puck turns it into a mountain. Not a large one, mind. It shouldn't be visible from the ocean floor. But visible from either of the other landmasses? Oh yes. That will do. There'll be plenty of valleys and ridges as well.
Now... Those outer islands. They're too... Normal. So those will become white deserts. Nutrient-rich, but capable of becoming perfect mirrors when under the water.
Still not right. Hrm... Surrounding the main island, in between the minor islands, he adjusts the depth of the sea. Plenty deep beneath the islands themselves, of course. But he makes it fairly shallow otherwise, with plenty of outcroppings. There should be plenty of coral around here. Besides. Wouldn't it be a surprise to have a shallow sea around a sinking island?
This done, he turns to the islands themselves. Or, rather, the weather. Things aren't quite right yet. Not at all.
The main island is shifted to be fairly cool and wet. The highest reaches of the mountain will get just enough snow to be a beacon, visible elsewhere. The rest of it will be fairly cool and wet. Kind of like a reverse rainforest. There'll be plenty of growth on this island, and it will grow fast.
His attention turns to the surrounding waters. Making them plenty warm in contrast with the island itself. Encouraging the growth in the waters. They'll be colorful. And treacherous. But the temperature of the water, at least, won't be deadly.
The air will be warm over the desert islands, enough to promote fast growth of flowers over the deserts as the islands come out of the water. But around that? Cold air again.
There will be storms around this island series. Sometimes they will be hurricanes. Sometimes they will be light showers. Enough to make the place known, and to make it mysterious. To make it hard to get to. And it will be valued. Oh yes.
Feeling fairly confident in the island itself, the jester turns to the land mass to the east. A small peninsula. Interesting! But that would make it too easy to get down to his little island out there in the water. Some power is exerted to lift this area from the water by a several hundred feet. Several hundred feet of high cliffs, to make sinking boats difficult. You would have to be insane to try to lower yourself down these cliffs.
The jester looks thoughtful. Then he sets a small spring at the top of the cliffs and angles the rest down as they work their way into the mainland. Starting a small river for the future.
What else... Ah!
He heads off to the western continent. One last thing to do. With a great heave, he drips like a stone to the land. Causing a great rift in the middle of it. As if a giant had fallen and gouged out a grand canyon right there. Though multiple layers of rock. Perhaps the deepest canyon the world will ever see. That should get the historians talking later on.
Lots of changes.
The floating island will become a mountain, with a very Windward Hawaii style atmosphere. The water will be warm to promote coral reefs. The floating and sinking islands will become warm enough to cause spontaneous growth when they rise. And then a shallowing of the sea around the islands to allow for more coral reefs and a ship graveyard style area. Lots of storm systems around, but the islands themselves will be in the eye of the storm.
The small jutting landmass to the east will be a tall cliff that eases on down inland. There'll be a spring at the top to start a large river later on.
And, of course, a huge canyon in the center of the western landmass. Something huge and epic. The type of thing that causes divides between theologists and geologists later on in history.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
I would love too. In fact, I wanted to at the end of the first round, but the guy who is supposed to be doing the map twice a week has not gotten to it even once.
As a placeholder, I will post my own crayola map that I've been making as a guide for said map-maker:
The north is becoming much more acceptable. The wolf returns to the mysterious place where he first saw the others and the world. Better to see how much more has to be grown.
There. Only half of the north has been made right. Soon, his perfect hunters will roam his forests. Until then, the way must be prepared.
The wolf plummets from the sky. In his wake, the air whirls and freezes, permanent winter once again coming to the northern parts of the world.
The snow peppers the land, and where it touches the ground trees start to grow in a huge area. The wolf watches the saplings sprout, grow, and mature. He proudly looks at his work. Soon this world will be ready for his masterpiece. Until then, there is more work to do.
Spending all 15 of my points this round.
Nine points to make the entire peninsula west of the current forest into another giant 3" forest. No mountains just yet. Six points to lower the temperature in the new forest to the same as the other one.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
...the correct thing is to type "1" in the "Number of Rolls" box and "2d6" in the "Dice" box. Typing a '6' essentially just instructs the program to give you a 6, apparently. We'll allow your original roll to stand, but you need to redo your second roll and this roll.
Auqron found himself in that cold forest from before, bobbing along on icy winds. It had been nearly a millenium and a half since those original seven had come here, and the fish deity was beginning to sober up. He was currently dwelling on what they were, and what was to become of them. The figure of both light and shadow had fallen silent after the void it all that was had left, and the form of line and rules had fallen into silence.
Though, as he meandered through this place, he suddenly felt a presence behind him. A hunter testing it's skills after a long time of growing a forest, maybe? Auqron wasn't sure what would happen if he was caught, but wasn't keen on finding out. Well, maybe it'd be interesting to know, but he can find out later!
It was a couple years later when Auqron finally thought he lost the hunter in a few cliffs by a shallow, stormy sea. Oh, wait, this was where that sunken island was. A lot of stuff had changed out here. There were the cliffs behind him, and some coral here, now, like over in his area. Not as big as his was, being towers, arches, and walls of the stuff miles tall, this stuff had a certain... flair. He'd have to take notes to improve upon his work.
On the return trip to his place, Auqron noticed that the vast mountains belonging to the white flame had spread out a great deal, and that there was a canyon off to their side... a canyon that had Puck's style all over it.
Back in the water water, Auqron immediately set about spreading his labyrinth of coral and undersea trenches over a wider area. After being in the woods to the far north, he actually had an idea to add. This time though, as he added walls and towers of coral, he made a few long, rough areas on their tops, with holes poking almost through their entirety where sediment would collect. After he had changed a massive portion of sea floor to match his taste for the complex, he returned to these coral strips, and, seeing small plants clinging to life in these holes, breathed a subtle change into them.
One last ingredient then, and he returned to the sky above, bringing more heat to his domain. When he returned to the ocean, he found the fruits of his work had come: Kelp forests.
The miles and miles of thick greenery swayed gentle in the deep, warm waters, surrounded on all sides by walls of coral. In other places, where the unique vertical currents that Auqron had placed, which drew warm water deeper into the maze, and brought cool water to the surface to be warmed, the kelp had adapted, growing tough, and now danced along the torque of the flow of water.
Spending 6 points to extend the northern border of my domain north 1 inch, and add kelp forests to that area as well. Also spending 4 points to make that area warm as well.
Orthuul barely spares a thought at what the other beings around him are creating. Small trivialities that mean nothing next to his might peaks.
He tears the earth into mountains further down the coastline, methodically dividing the continent.
Who'd have thunk it :B? Spending all my points on 3" of mountains that continue along the shorelines. 2" on the north shore and 1" on the south shore. Back to 0 points.

3+8+12=23 Story Actions:
Zunadj looks once again across the expanse of land, and records the actions taken by the other powers upon it. Caring not what happens to the land itself, Zunadj decides to bring for intelligent life, to create a balance between the awesome powers of the deities, and the absolute powerlessness of the lesser creatures. He the dark soil of the land into his hands, forming one couple of dark-skinned humanoids. He does the same with the pale sand, creating a second, light-skinned pair. His aim is to create a balance of dark, and light. As they interact with each other, however, they begin to intermix, creating a striped race that does not deign to be split by such a trivial thing as skin color. He placed the initial four onto the island north of the center continent, though with their growing numbers they may soon journey forth to settle the continent proper. Race details:
The Zunna are a race of humanoid beings with striped skin, some ebony brown with with ivory stripes, others the opposite As they age these stripes begin to fade and blur, meaning that the most honored elders are all but completely grey. They stand an average of six feet, though some are as short as five, and others as tall as seven. They wear simple, utilitarian clothes or tans, grays, browns, and other neutral colors woven from nearby plant fibers and gathered animal fur. Though they have some knowledge of the celestial beings warping the world around them, they show no favor towards any one such deity; small groups worship each and every combination thereof.
Spending 22 points to create the first race, the Zunna. Down to 1.
Puck lifts his head for a moment from laying in his canyon. It feels as if the world has changed rather significantly from when he started. He's kind of lost track of time. Slowly he lifts from where he is until he has a bird's eye view of the world. In fact, a god's eye view. Interesting. Things have changed.
His eyes catch a view of creatures moving across the landscape. Creatures that don't belong. He scoots on in to take a look. Seeing that they are striped. Interesting... Balance interests Puck. He likes the color scheme. He'll have to go and work with these creatures in the future. But now? Not so much.
Puck lifts himself again and takes a look at the world. It's not done. Certainly not done. And he can see where he wants to work next. Back to the canyon.
For some time he works inside of it. Gradually shifting layers of rock to make small little natural trails down to bottom and top. He starts to slowly make layers that can be worked on, settled on. He changes the layer of rock, looking as if it's been edited already. He wants future generations to think about it.
He was going to make a mountain, but there's plenty of them to the west! High up in one of the major mountains, he creates a spring. And then slowly creates a few valleys in that very same mountain. Giving a place for that spring to stream. And then a few more springs so the stream becomes a river. And later on, a raging torrent that will cascade down as multiple waterfalls into his canyon.
Then back to the canyon, which is rapidly filling with water. That won't do. So he uses a little power to create a sinkhole at the bottom. One that will gradually be eroded by the water into a series of caverns into the earth. Perhaps to show up in the ocean eventually.
3 points to shape the canyon, 3 points to create multiple springs and valleys into one of the mountains that'll eventually waterfall into the canyon, then 3 to make a sinkhole in the bottom of the canyon itself. Ending with 0 points.

Ending Power Level: 1
Orthuul grinned and flexed his muscles in preparation. That had been a good warm up, but now he saw more opportunity for a rugged landscape.
He trudged out onto the ocean and pointed to each shore. Then in one swift motion, two new branches to his mountain range where torn from the featureless plains to surround the water he stood on.

Go Nai.
This leaves me with 0 points.

Nine points to make the entire peninsula west of the current forest into another giant 3" forest. No mountains just yet. Six points to lower the temperature in the new forest to the same as the other one.

...the correct thing is to type "1" in the "Number of Rolls" box and "2d6" in the "Dice" box. Typing a '6' essentially just instructs the program to give you a 6, apparently. We'll allow your original roll to stand, but you need to redo your second roll and this roll.
My post will come in a while.
Power Roll of 10 for a total of 11
Auqron found himself in that cold forest from before, bobbing along on icy winds.
Ending with 1 point again.
Orthuul barely spares a thought at what the other beings around him are creating. Small trivialities that mean nothing next to his might peaks.
He tears the earth into mountains further down the coastline, methodically dividing the continent.
Story Actions:
