Alright, here we go. Dawn of World is a game where the players are gods, deities, shaping a world for their own machinations. This thread is for the players to confirm their interest and the kind of god they will be playing as. As a rule of thumb, I would recommend at least one god of war, one god of art, and one god of knowledge (I might nab the knowledge one). Also, we're here determining the turn order the game will take. In order to do this, go to this website and roll 2d6. The highest roll will go first. Don't forget to link back to the roll in your post. Also, suggestions for the name of the world are up for grabs. I will be posting my god momentarily.

An Example Deific Profile:
Jeff, the God of Biscuits
Portfolio: Biscuits, bakeries, flour... Appearance: He looks like a baker. Symbol: A biscuit.
Portfolio: Birth-life-death (life passages/aging), Obstacles, Gateways/Portals, Mirrors, Dusk, Dawn, Zebras and other striped creatures Appearance: A tall, robed figure wearing a double-faced mask-one side black with white eyes, the other white with black. Symbol: Any kind of tube, tunnel, or pathway metaphorically, a four-loop knot for all associated clergy, etc
Portfolio: Death, Disease, Earthquakes, Abysses and canyons Appearence: An old man (of the race viewing him) with no hands or feet (should the race have them, or the equivalent). A long tail sprouts out his back (regardless of race) that is curled about a bright red hourglass. There is no sand, only blood. Symbol: A red hourglass.
Portfolio: Fluids, Oceans, Storms, Knowledge, Art, Ink, Books Appearance: Auqron most often appears as a small, brightly colored fish swimming mildly through whatever medium is present, which can be odd as land-dwelling creatures often see him bobbing through the air when he visits them. Occasionally, though, when he is in a rage, he can appear as a massive form of water, from a waterspout to a thunderstorm, with a furious face formed on one side. Though, it is rare that he is in a rage. Auqron is a kind, curious deity who loves those who seek to further their own knowledge, and so, to test a being's "worthiness", he will appear in his fish form at the edges of the being's vision, vanishing when they turn to inspect. How far the being goes to inspect him is his measure of it's worthiness. Symbol: Auqron has two symbols that can be used interchangingly. One is a small, brightly colored fish. The other is a river, often with something shiny in it's bed.
Portfolio: Humor, Pranks, Twists of Fate, Comic Routines and Plays, Parties, Hedonism Appearance: Puck is most often seen in one of two forms. As a merry prankster in a harlequin outfit. Lovely silver bells coming off the corners of the cap, as well as off his shoes. He wears a comical mask with a broad smile on its face. His actual face is never seen in this form. He's also often seen as a pixie, a small creature with wings with a slight glow that routinely sets up small pranks and laughs in a high-pitched tee-hee afterwards. There are no actual clothes in this form, but no one ever reports seeing more than a glow and wings with a potential outline of limbs and body. Symbol: Puck's symbol is the comical mask, a white full-faced mask with a full and open smile. This is the shorthand version of the full symbol, which is an entire jester's head complete with a small staff in the corner.
Don't know why we're using this instead of mtgs's dice roller.
And how big is an "inch" on that map Rith? (As in the amount of space you're allowed to form when spending your points.)
Orthuul, Brave Lord
Portfolio:Life, Feasts, Pride, War, Combat Expertise, Mountains Appearance:Orthuul appears in two forms: a massive white lion, three-times the size of a full grown male; and a muscular man wearing thick white furs and wielding a golden battle axe. Symbol:A golden battle axe wreathed in white fire

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.
The circle in the bottom right corner of the map is an 'inch' for our purposes. I'll be getting the thread set up once Prophylaxis posts his deity. If he doesn't get it by midnight tonight, when Tuesday becomes Wednesday (Eastern Standard Time), we're going on without him.
Also, we're using Invisible Castle cause I've always felt it was the easiest to authenticate. I'm in the habit of using it as well. (Besides, we can blame bad rolls on the website if need be.) If their server ever crashes we can default to the mtgs roller.
But what's stopping a player that doesn't like his roll re-rolling until he gets the result he wants? It doesn't look like there's any way to catch them.

As long as people continue using the same name or campaign name, rolls are kept on record and each player can search for rolls with that name or campaign name. If the name or campaign name keeps changing for people's rolls, however, we have an issue.
Also, how are you guys for naming the world 'Yatayo'?
Portfolio: Human Interaction, Formal Wear, Expectations, Control Appearance: A figure dressed in the formal wear of whoever views him. Symbol: A pillar.
Appearance: Halupus, as god of hunters and beasts, can appear as two different creatures, both of which he can use to test mortals. His first and favorite form is a gigantic albino wolf, twice the size of whatever prey he is currently hunting. He will assume this form to stalk and hunt mortals, to test their will to survive. If they manage to escape him he deems them worthy. If they fail to escape, they are devoured. His second form is a huge white stag with antlers covered in frost. He appears to mortal hunters to test their skill. If they can track him successfully, they are "rewarded" when Halupus transforms them into werewolves. If they fail, they are transformed into a prey animal as punishment.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
Portfolio:Smithing, Mining, Metalcraft, Furnace, Chains, Vehicles, Armor, Advanced Weaponry, Brute Force, Order, Slavery Appearance: A big tall man always hidden behind the mask of his armor.
