[Sorry about the delay. Just came back from a 10-hour long road trip, so I am feeling rather tired right now. I'll be updating this after I have had a good night sleep. Update, coming soon. ;)]
Mat rose, keeping his sword at the ready in his left hand, what had happened, reasoning in his head, from all the horror movies he had seen, going into that for was probablly NOT a good idea, so he walked towards and through the back entrance, shouting "anyone out there? it's Mat"
BT
[They seemed far more concerned with their meals at the moment. Later down the road, who knows? :)]
Down the corridor Dimitri went, checking each room he encountered but they were all locked. Then, he reached a Hall or sorts and realized it was the Academy's Cafeteria. This time though, it was not populated by students and staff but by monsters straight from hell.
There were four entrances to the Cafetaria: the one where he came from, the one directly opposite him, the one to his far right, and the one to his far left. As usual, he could see the usual scene of carnage within the Cafeteria. Upturned tables and chairs. Cracks on the walls. Dead bodies littering the ground. Weird monsters with yellow eyes that went Mwuahh? feasting on the corpses. There were two new things this time though.
The first was a very large sunken cave/hole on his far left near one of the entrances, radiating a reddish ambiance. The second was a humongous almost-hulking abomination of sorts, almost twice Dimitri's height, with protruding backbones and spotty flesh. The abomination was standing just beside the sunken cave, looking away from Dimitri. It picked a still-groaning still-alive male student from somewhere near its feet and after a deliberate scrutiny at him, popped him into its mouth and crunched. His terrified scream was loud but brief, ended abruptly in a muted gurgle.
Dimitri felt like vomiting.
The shriek seemed to come from somewhere beyond the entrance to the far left, where the abomination stood enjoying its snacks, and it was rapidly fading away.
HoD
[Look out the window. ;)]
"Several hours. Those hideous critters can shriek all they want till their throats crack in the meantime."
There was a decidedly smug expression on her face.
The room looked like a storeroom of sorts, with mops and buckets and all sorts of janitorial items. But they looked quite unused, and broken. Most decidedly not interesting. There was a stainless steel cupboard in the corner but it looked as if it was already raided by whoever was previously here. There was a glass window at the far end of the wall directly opposite them and it looked rather dirty, with smudges and dirt on the glasses.
"I have seen you around as well. Garin, right? You can call me Aideen."
g12
"Tha... thanks."
Her breathings steadied and she opened her eyes fully. She had a pair of pale brown eyes. Gingerly, she pushed herself upward and looked around.
"Oh my God..."
Roger could see that he was in a class. His class. Only it looked more like a graveyard now, with the bodies of his classmates littering the room. Overturned and shattered furniture. Falling debris and dust from the badly cracked ceilings. The white board right in front of the class was smeared with the blood of his... lecturer, whose head was impaled by a falling beam. Her body still hung there, the parody of a string-less puppet. Both the front and back doors looked as if they had seen better days, but accessible. And the row of windows to one side looked... intact, which was about the only thing that survived the whole ordeal.
At first glance, it seemed as if you both were the only survivors of your class.
GM
The hallway in which Mat was in was lined with windows, most of which was shattered into shards of glasses with the walls around them cracked. There were a few falling beams from the ceiling. There were a lot of bodies littering the hallway. Dead, from a shocked brief glance.
They were all just alive moments ago! He even spoke to some of them less than a day ago! What happened?!
Mat let out a shout. His voice echoed softly back at him. There was no response.
There was a spectator though.
From the shattered window right in front of him, the freakiest thing he had ever seen was floating just outside. It was a huge eyeball the size of an adult human with multiple veins running along and down it, coalescing into a long meaty tube with a small mouth at the end. There were multiple long rows of wicked looking teeth lining that mouth. The mouth seemed to move experimentally, producing weird half-garbled sounds. Then, from its mouth...
"Anyone out there? It's Mat."
Al
The thing ambled forward in response after Aaron. It was a grossly misshapen humanoid creature, with yellowed bloodshot eyes. Its bloody maw seemed to be crunching some sort of large spidery creature. He could see parts of the spindly limbs of the spider still twitching around its mouth.
After a few moments of crunching and swallowing and staring at him, it opened its bloody maw again and moved closer.
"Mwuahh?"
And then, to Aaron's horror, that... that thing sniffed at him.
"Oh god don't look," He said as he tried to cover her eyes. "I think we're the only ones... The only ones lef... We need to get out of here. Do you have anything to protect yourself with?"
Kaleb recoiled in horror at the monstrosity as he came to. Whatever this Eye-creature was, it was something unknown. Kaleb had always been taught to be wary of the unknown, not necessarily afraid. Backing up against what was left of the tree and readying his Drone, he says-
"Hello, can you understand me?"
Though he greatly hoped that the creature understood him, he was prepared for the worst.
She pushed Roger's hands away to lurch upward, away from Roger and toward the remains of a desk. Her desk, apparently, as she began to pull away small pieces of rubbles there. Soon enough, she retrieved a rather torn bag and winced.
"That was my Christmas gift..."
After a few moments of rummaging, she retrieved out a Bloodseeker Chakram. It looked new, but with a few scratches on the side. She tinkered with it for a moment.
"I... I think it's OK. Should still be functional. But I am not very good at aiming it."
BT
Pretty soon Dimitri reached the area back where he started, the front of the gym. There was one notable difference though. The intestine-eating monster previously busy at its meal now laid slump against said meal, side by side. Its head was several feet away from its body; the fatal wound oozing a viscous yellow fluid. There was a notable silence, with the only sound coming from somewhere within the gym.
It sounded like someone overturning stuffs.
GM
[You can find out by leaning outside one of the windows. :p]
The humongous eye looked at Mat contemplatively. Its mouth moved again, cranking this way and that way till...
"What the... what IS that thing?"
The monstrous eye then bobbed for awhile, before attempting to squeeze itself through the window. The small mouth moved into a feral grin.
AG
The creature moved its mouth in a sort of weird twist, right and left as though trying something out. It said...
"Hello, can you understand me?"
Its bulky eye was looking at Kaleb maliciously though. It bobbed closer in a hypnotic-like movement.
"Well, I didn't do that one...who else could be here?"
Keeping his eyes and ears sharp, Dimitri picks up on the sound, and heads toward it, trying to see what it was, but not disturb it, in case it was one of those big freakish things again.
There have been some pretty bad days at school for Dimitri, but nothing like this...
EDIT: (BTW Dagger, I wish you weren't in hidey mode so I could see when you might update the thread! Also, I love this game so far! It's really neat! :p)
Aaron jumped back he instantly got up ignored the pain and ran. He ran as hard as he could until he came to a full stop.
"Wait what im a thinking i have this!" He took his ice drone out and fire the sucker up, sadly he hadn't had time to perfect how to use it so for now all he could do was manually fire it. He shot it starght at the yellow eyes that stalked him in the fog.

[XD I was metagamed more times than I like about it in Mafia, so Invisibility it is. :)]
Gingerly, Dimitri pushed open the door to the gym. The first thing he saw was the tip of a sword. He stopped breathing.
With an almost casual flick, the tip moved forward slightly to touch his neck. He could feel the prick.
The tip moved upward, nudging his head along. Dimitri complied; not that he had much of a choice.
It was a pair of cold gray eyes. Of a woman much older than he was. She had a shoulder-length curly black hair. And wore a dark blue no-nonsense blouse with a matching skirt. Definitely not a student. Her thin red lips pursed.
"Thought I heard a noise..."
HoD
[That's a neat one. :p]
Beyond the window, Garin saw the world. It was covered with a white mist, some of which were even now curling into the room as tendrils of white wisp. The mist obscured much of his vision, but he could still spot burning trees and the shadows skulking silently beneath them.
He looked down. They were at least three floors up. It looked like quite a distance. Probably not a fatal jumping down distance. Probably.
He felt more than saw Aideen walking forward to stand behind him.
"So, what did you see? Any ideas getting out of here?"
Al
[No worries. Everyone has got their own pace in updating. Even me. :p]
Aaron let the Icy Drone fluttered up in the air for a moment before it zoomed unerringly toward the monster's left eye. The Drone slammed into the eye and was deflected to the side in a whirl. The monster screeched in pain and shook its head from side to side madly. The Drone wheeled back in a arch right into Aaron's outstreched hand.
From where he stood, he could see tiny shards of ice began to form around the eye wound, causing the flesh around it to turn bluish and pale. There was a bated breath. There were inquisitive calls echoing through the Garden.
"Mwuahh?"
"Mwuahh?"
"Mwuahh?"
There was the sound of things approaching. Quite a number of things.
Not good.
[BTW, as a general rule, weapons without the Perception prerequisite doesn't need aiming. :)]
"Well, if it doesn't work I'll just have to deal with whatever we face myself. Although I honestly don't think we'll run into anything." He showed her his fire wand and his tranq gun. "I think we should try and find other survivors. After that I think we should be able to get out of here safely... or at least safer than if by yourself. Lets keep moving." Roger's head was still confused from the explosion but he figured he knew the school well enough to navigate. "Oh, my name's Roger by the way, I'm sorry, I really am, but I can't for the life of me remember your name."
"You...you're alive! I mean of course you are alive. You're standing right there! I can't believe it! Is there anyone else?" Dimitri askes with a bleak sense of hopefulness.
After hearing the answer, Dimitri remembers that he's just in school. What happened to everything that's not school? The outside world. He finds a window to the rest of the world to try and get a better view.

"ohhh, ****" mat says, "this can't be good" he brings his sword up in front of him and retrives the memories of his classes he then steps forward in a powerful lunge to the creature's single eye
As soon as the eye moved towards Kaleb, he lashed out with his drone, aiming right for it's grinning maw. Whatever it wanted, Kaleb really didn't want to find out.
((Pretty funny that we are both fighting the Eyes at the same time. ))
"Well," mused Garin. "We're pretty high up, so it's probably a bad idea to try to go out the window. There are other creatures out there anyway. Our best bet may be to hope that the spider beasts go away. But we'd probably need someone (or something, he thought) else to distract them."
"We should find what they are afraid of." said Garin as he did his best to manifest a fireball outside of the closed window.

[XD My bad for not telling you beforehand. But I planned on improvising as we go along.]
As Aaron rushed through the bleak Garden, he went past several of those monsters slowly ambling forward in the opposite direction, seemingly going to where he was. They didn't really pay him any mind, just sniffing the air and turning their head inquiringly as he ran past.
The outline of a building came into view. As Aaron approached closer, the outline solidified into one of the school's several "education centers". The one in front of him was nicknamed Theta, because it was the third oldest one to be built (and because it was rumored that the Principal was obsessed with Greek).

"My name is Cailyn. Nice to meet you, Roger, though I wish it was under better circumstances."

The woman stared at him thoughtfully.
"I encountered two survivors before I met you. The first was crushed the entire waist down from a particularly large piece of ceiling that cracked and dropped on him. The second was impaled through her entire right lung by a falling beam and was drowning in her own blood."
"I ended both their lives swiftly to spare them their sufferings."
The tip of her sword pressed warningly to Dimitri's throat as he attempted to move toward the nearest window. That effectively halted him in his tracks
"Ah, but we have yet to have the pleasure of knowing each other. How about we start with you?"
GM
The sword pierced deep into the center of the monstrous eye, and Mat was splattered with the milky red fluid that erupted out from the wound.
The eye jerked back with an unholy shriek before its mouth lunged forward wildly to grasp at his sword and force the blade out. The wound dribbled out the milky red fluid freely without the sword impaled in it.
Its mouth, still wrapped around the sword, gnashed angrily and pulled hard, jerking Mat closer to the window.
AG
The Icy Drone hovered in the air for a moment before zooming right into the maw of the humongous eye. For a moment there, if it was even possible, the eye grew even wider with surprise before the Drone exploded out from its mouth again in a return trajectory back to Kaleb's hand.
There were loose teeth splattering out from its maw and the eye let out a muted scream. The flesh around the maw began to turn bluish and brittle. The monstrous eye sort of rolled around in the air in pain, turned in Kaleb's direction, and charged forward like a drunken bull.
Its iris turned red.

Aideen looked at the spiders still littering around outside the doorway.
"The ward will prevent any organic things from passing through. I suppose we can try to frighten them away. But I found a coil of rope here in this room earlier. Think we can attempt the window anyway? Or is it too dangerous?"
dang, can't go out the window, i don't know how high up I am Mat set his feet agianst the floor in a low to the ground stance and pulled on the hilt with all his might, he looked out of the corner of his eye out the window, trying to gauge how far up he was
[I also misunderstood. I thought the window was of the unopenable kind, like a skylight on the wall.]
Sensing that the fireball would not be arriving soon, Garin stopped trying.
"Well, I suppose trying the rope would be better than trying to scare these spiders. I'm just worried about what else might be out there. I guess we'll have to tie the rope to the big steel cabinet. Let's load up all the stuff into the cupboard first to make it heavier."

Dimitri had so much he wanted to ask this woman, but something about her, maybe the tip of her blade, told him not to press too much.
