Filfla, a lush and dense green forest, populated with century-old tropical trees. Light finds it hard to seep through the thick vegetation. Amidst this darkness, two shadow emerge, Teferi, a legendary planeswalker and Voldemort, pure evil spirit. It's now time for them to ...
The dark wizard seemed to slither through the forest searching for its prey. He stopped suddenly, his cloaks--the color of his hopeless evil heart--whispered with the change of momentum.
He took out his perfectly crafted phoenix-cored wand and pinched it between his thumb and forefinger. His red eyes glared around full of malice and hatred.
Then he flew, effortlessly straight up, above the treetops, still looking for his enemy.
Teferi sighed as he planeswalked to Filfla. The luscious vegetation seemed to blot out the very sky, though the darkness effectively concealed any predators lurking in the dense canopy and amongst the forest floor.
The mana was strong here; Teferi could feel it pulsing beneath the forest - the dark heart of a savage land. Teferi adopted some of that energy, combining it with the surging energy of his home Tolaria, which he treasured so. Waving his arm, Teferi created three beacons of light, each dancing and twirling a few feet around him. This primal mana was wild and chaotic, the shadows of the forest containing traces of black and dark mana.
Teferi felt movement, and utilised some black mana to amplify his voice.
Twisting where he stood, Teferi planeswalked to amongst the dense canopy of the forest. Down below he felt a deadly spell erupt against a rocky formation. Surely this foul being before him was well-versed in the arts of death. He was, however, not a planeswalker, and such an insolent act would be punished, in time. For the time being, Teferi decided to watch - he had never seen such a being - such a foul being, as that - and learn.
Searching his mind for the remnants of a day long past, Teferi found what he was searching for. Tugging a wisp of mana from his forehead with the tip of his staff, Teferi brought three golems into being. Tough and reliable, this golems had stood as guardians of Tolari many years ago. Surely they would give this wizard something for which Teferi could observe.
The golems stomped their way to the dark wizard. He pointed the wand at his mouth and whispered "Sonorus."
After that his voice boomed from all directions of the forest at once.
"Is this the best you can do? Sending garden statuary to do you work?"
He pointed his wand at the golem in the center of advancing phalanx. "Confringo."
The golem exploded into bits of rubble. Lord Voldemort blocked his face with his long spidery hand as the pebbles flew at him, giving him a few tiny scrapes on his hand and the top of his bald head.
As the two golems were still shaken by the explosion of their comrade, the dark wizard pointed at one of the others. "Evanesco."
This golem started shaking and turned its head downward just as it vanished in a swirl of shadows.
Then he pointed at the last golem's feet. "Locomotor Golem"
Voldemort seemed to struggle for a second and then swing the hand holding the wand over his head as though someone had been holding it down and he had just broken free. At the same time the golem was sent flying dozens of feet into the air above the tree tops. Then the wizard then dropped his hand down to where it had been and the golem crashed back down through the foliage and slammed into the ground with a thunderous boom. It lay nearly in half in a crater on the forest floor.

Teferi smirked. The foul being below him feigned a learned knowledge of magic, but his archaic reliance upon power words simply proved his primitive magic held no real power. Although, the man had removed the golems Teferi had snatched from the Æther, so perhaps he would be of some use to Teferi. Perhaps as a Governor of a plane he had recently visited - the one with the shifting skies. Perhaps the one with the simmering bogs.
Teferi brought himself back to the present, his mind refocused upon the task at hand. He would have to subdue the wand-holder - Teferi chuckled again, a wand! - and to do so he must best him in a duel. Though, thought Teferi, technically I could simply click my fingers and unmake him. Such a deed, he resolved, would be impractical and ruthless. He wanted to use the being, not unmake him. Teferi once again tapped his jaw, sending his voice booming over the treetops.
"Know this being - Your words have no hold over me."
To reinforce his threat, Teferi weaved strands of blue mana, each gently touching a tree here, an animal there. Wherever the strands landed, the matter beneath simply faded into non-existance. Grinning, Teferi charged the weaves and began wove them into a circle around the foul being.
The Dark Lord only laughed and disappeared with an audible pop.
He reappeared in a shadowy explosion a dozen or so feet behind the other wizard. He narrowed his reptillian eyes and pointed his wand at the other wizard's back.
"Serpensortia Oppugno," he said.
Three huge snakes flew out of the tip of his wand, one a fat python, next a quick cobra, and the other an angry rattlesnake. As they hurried over to attack the wizard, Voldemort pointed his wand at them again and said, "Engorgio," causing them all to triple in size.
Teferi felt the wizard shift his presence, hurling himself to behind Teferi with a teleportation spell. Interesting, though even a primitive magician could cast simple spells.
As the wizard created engorged reptilian beats, Teferi recalled similiar monsters on his travels through a mire plane. Such beasts were wary of fire, and Teferi's travels amongst the planes had allowed him to gather such spells. They were not his favourite, as they lead to a path of anger and hatred he much disdained, but in his eyes fire was a tool, and he would never allow his tools to become his master.
Planeswalking a few meters above the snakes, Teferi singled one of them out - a python. Tiny specks of fire surrounded the snake, until a wide ring of raging flame encircled it.
As the plainswalker was busy with the snakes, Lord Voldemort aimed a few more killing curses at his opponent, shooting green streaks of angry light at him.
