For the contestants:
1. Modding will be a minimum in these threads but do expect surprises!
2. You can use any powers, moves, weapons associated with your character - just remember that victory won't be the result of the outcome of the battle but it will be dependant on your STYLE.
3. Self voting is allowed but not appreciated. In the case of a tie, if you voted yourself, but the opponent didn't you lose the contest.
And just an example of what you can and cannot do here:
Acceptable: Goku summoned all the energy from the nearby organisms building up an enormous mass of energy. He then directed this onto ... Y
Not acceptable: Goku summoned the energy, threw on Bilbo's head and killed him.

The 150 towering spires of the Delta complex represented the pinnacle of architecture, technology and could prove to be an ideal fighting ground for Yoda and Aragorn. The two emerged on different spire-tops but could see each other at a distance. The buildings were huge and would take some time to climb down but strong steel cords, impervious to swords connected one tower to the other.
Aragorn and Yoda eyed each other, preparing to ...
The king of Gondor eyes his opponent and watches him, hands twitching. He's never seen a weapon like that before. Of course, the high leap is nothing special to him, having seen what the wizards are capable of. He just has to assume Yoda is some sort of elf. An old one. With a degenerative disease. That's also a wizard. Those are some mighty odds.
Aragorn kept his cloak, most from protection from the elements, should they arise, than anything. But he threw it back and drew from its sheath Anduril, his fabled longsword, which glowed white flame as it emerged. With one hand holding his sword and the other prepared to remove his knife for extra use.
Aragorn was easily surprised by such a move. As he fell off the platform, he thought, Definitely a wizard.
He hadn't falled more than a dozen feet before his arm caught one of the wires. Just fast enough to use his momentum to get on top of a wire, not fast enough to break the cord. He lands on it, hesitates as he almost loses his balance, then looks around for his opponent. Wary.
The ranger stays on the wire, backed up against the tower his opponent is on. Thinking. He looks around the towers, especially towards the safety of the ground, seeing what can be used in this battle.
The battleground was largely even - the spires rose up at regular intervals. However, a large open platform of around 40 metres stood at mid-level of a cluster of 4 spires forming a sort of plaza or marketplace.
It appeared bare right now, except for a small shed on its right-hand side.

A lightsaber has a telltale buzzing noise, and Aragorn had already picked up on that. So when he hears a growing buzzing noise with a Doppler effect, he's already on the move, jumping to another cable as he does so. The following seconds find him jumping from cable to cable on the way to the ground. Height, with this apparent wizard, is not his friend.
Having no way of knowing Yoda was about to pull this stunt, Aragorn misses the cord. With his weight distributed just so, and the stop he was expecting not there, he falls upside down. Which is bad, when you're only so many feet from the ground. Needing to stop more than fight, the sword is dropped from his hand. Those same hands grab for a cord which, after missing to, they do. With a good amount of groaning of pain, as he almost broke his arm with the speed of his descent.
That, of course, Aragorn could not allow. He dropped from the wire onto the sword, wrapping his hand around the pommel. He would have wrapped his hand around the blade if needed. Then he fought the tug, throwing a knife at Yoda to distract him.
Aragorn raises an eyebrow at this stance, then matches it with his own sword in his hand. His sword isn't really meant for two hands, but he'll do it anyways.
Considering we haven't actually done anything yet, other than Aragorn trying to make it a more even fight, I think we should continue.
The blade of the king seemed enough to counter the weapon of war that the wizened warrior wielded. Considering the weight difference of the two, Strider pushed back, trying to throw his opponent to the ground.
The ranger didn't seem interested in following Yoda up the tower. He stayed on the ground and, keeping one eye on Yoda, made a more in depth inspection of their fighting ground.
