I still voted for option 3, because I think we can make it work, but this doesn't address the issue of extra land drops (e.g. Exploration) that VM4L brought up.
I think the most reasonable way is to say that your 2CB land is your 'normal' land drop, so Exploration works as it always did, and your land from hand limit is always 1 -- playing a card to increase it doesn't make much sense anyway ;-)
I don't see how that's functionally different. Cards have priority over rules, so Exploration would work same as always. You would be able to play 1 Land from outside the game, 1 from your hand, and 1 additional 1 from either. I can't imagine a reason to do that, but there you go.
Because all of September will be Normal Weeks, all of October will be Special Weeks.
But I'm working on a fun bit: There will be a theme across the whole month, and I think it's pretty fun. Hint:It's the special month you deserve, but don't need.
This might sound a bit silly, but how would people like the idea of an All Blind PotM? At the end of the month, just add up the points in each of the four Blind competitions, and see whoe the ABPotM is. We could just keep that as a separate thread that updates monthly, and keeps each month's winners in the OP like the other ones do. Thoughts? Super exciting? Am I just an obsessive crackhead?

Option 1:
Use normal land rules, and lands will just be mostly bad in 2CB
Option 2:
Each player may start the game with any lands in his or her hand on the battlefield.
Option 3:
You have 1 land drop from your hand and 1 from outside the game per turn.
Option 4:
Lands played from your hand don't count toward land-per-turn.
Option 5:
Lands give you spiritual extra credit. Every time you play a land from your hand, you become a better person.
Option 6:
Every time you play a land from your hand, God kills a kitten and your DCI rating is changed accordingly.
