The idea behind this thread is a game called "Three Card Decks." You try to create a three-card deck that beats the deck posted previously that beats it on the play or the draw. You have to explain how your deck wins if it isn't self explanatory. Please use card tags so that people know how your deck works.
Play: Play plains, Cast Savannah Lions. If they cast Hexmage before Dark Depths, Swords it. If they try to put a Marit Lage token into play, Swords the token.
Draw: When they put the Marit Lage token into play, Swords it. Attack for the win with Lions.
***
Play continues until a person comes up with a three card deck that can't be beat.
Btw, your second deck doesn't beat the first.
I play dark depths, then black lotus into hexmage. I proceed to beatdown with hexmage (first strike ftw). If you try to swords, in response i will make marit lage.

An ability exists on the stack independently of its source. Removal of the source after that time won't affect the ability. Some abilities cause a source to do something rather than the ability. Any activated or triggered ability that references information about the source checks that information when the ability is put onto the stack. Otherwise, it will check that information when it resolves. If the source is no longer in the zone it's expected to be in, its last known information is used.
on the play play menite
on the draw Counter there black lotus.
Then how do you kill them? They have a memnite too. This doesn't work.

Mox Pearl
Path to Exile (why would anyone use STP in this format?)
Memnite
Going first
I play the Mox Pearl and the Memnite, if you play your scythe tiger I path it. If you don't play the tiger I can attack indefitly so there is no value in you holding it.
Going Second
If you play the scythe tiger turn 1 I path it and drop memnite. If you hold the scythe tiger or play the strip mine the game is the same as if I would have gone first.

All I do is play savannah and sit there. The game is a draw. You can't kill me because if you play raging goblin I will path it. I can't play rogue elephant because then you will kill me, so I can't kill you. Draw.

For example. If the first deck is:
Black Lotus
Vampire Hexmage
Dark Depths
Then you say, I cast Black Lotus, play Hexmage, play Depths, and put a 20/20 Marit Lage token into play. The next deck can be:
Swords to Plowshares
Plains
Savannah Lions
Play: Play plains, Cast Savannah Lions. If they cast Hexmage before Dark Depths, Swords it. If they try to put a Marit Lage token into play, Swords the token.
Draw: When they put the Marit Lage token into play, Swords it. Attack for the win with Lions.

Play continues until a person comes up with a three card deck that can't be beat.
Here's the first deck:
Black Lotus
Show and Tell
Progenitus
Play/Draw: Cast Black Lotus, sacrifice it for blue. Play Show and Tell and put Progenitus into play. Attack twice for the win.
