Remember, this week was the week the one where it is a normal week and an extra player named anonymous is in the round. Here's his deck:
Mishra's Workshop / Leveler / City of Traitors X: Black Lotus
The winner was clever is using a Black Lotus deck, because he was sure that noone else would ban it. You only lost to Anonymous, but that was good enough to beat everybody else!
I don't know if nom is town or scum. But I'd like to point out this type of behavior is his standard modus operandi.
Court Mafia: Day 1, hatch plan to KILL EVERYONE ELSE IN A SINGLE NIGHT, when the plan only allows him to hit 11 random players, ATTEMPTS TO FIRE ANYHOW (Roleblocked).
In other words....Nom is an impulsive player who doesn't think about planning long-term or listening to others. I wouldn't be surprised if he was town. At all.
I'm having a huge problem deciding what to X this round. My only suspect is someone who will ban my main card, but I'm not sure the exact card they'd be playing.

I went with the obvious choice, even though I normally 3-3 it, just so I'd get a few more 6s.
I'm goina hit myself when I see the choice that I missed that beats me handily.
I think I should be 2-2 with Error1, since FoW stops my lotus.
I should 2-2 ~Tilde~, since I can keep Eater tapped forever. (I don't play Ajani until he attacks with it)

I'm listed as '3-1' with Feyd_Ruin, which isn't a real score, but also it should be 6-0, right? On the play, if he just goes for it, I take fifteen but then bounce it and kill him easily. If he waits, I play Karakas and never take 15 at all.

But if you cast out Ajani, Karakas is tapped, and you're vulnerable. I swing, wipe your board and win. So you don't cast Ajani. You wait for me to play out.
But it'd be silly for me to play out, since I'll end up loosing. So we stare eachother down, and with both of us still at 20, it's a real tie.
It should actually be 2-2, since we'll stare eachother down no matter who goes first.
7. Feyd Ruin
Black Lotus / Channel / Emrakul the Aeons Torn X: Force of Will

8. Personman
Black Lotus / Karakas / Ajani Vengeant X: Dryad Arbor
On the play, Personman drops down his Ajani and +1 to no-untap his own Karakas. (4)
Hinotama plays out and kill Karakas.
Personman then +1 to no-untap anything. (5)
Hinotama is forced to go aggro, since personman can slowly add more counters. Waiting does nothing.
He can swing at the skull or at ajani. Either way, ajani is still alive, if at 1 counter.
Now Personman can tap down the Wurm forever, slowly building to a billion counters.
Afterwards, he starts -2ing to Hinotama's skull.
The wurm starts swinging, but Personman only loses 1 life per turn due to the gain, while Hinotama is loosing 3.
On the draw, the wurm kill Ajani before it hits 5 counters.
@Personman: The rules for 3CBX are a little different from other CBs in that the player with more life wins in the result of draws.
I keep forgetting that 3-1 is supposed to be 4-1, right? It's such an uncommon score that I often forget.
Just a reminder for next week: When you ban a card, it is removed from their deck before the match. So there is no way to use it for discard fodder. Thank you.
I shouldn't lose to Nom Anor. I should 6-0 him. I can Blackmail away his Bogle even on the draw because Arbor has summoning sickness. At that point he can no longer use Force of Will, and The Rack easily outraces the Arbor (it also kills him if he holds back the Arbor). Yeah, that may have been a miscalculation on my part. I think I was comparing you with a different player. I will fix that now.

Arbor/Force seems to be a popular deck that always finds its way into each round.

Grave Titan was good, but ultimately fell to the even more powerful creatures of that format. Rakdos might have been better.
