Welcome to my DC5 game. Summer of Magic applicable.
Standard DC5.
Cruel Ultimatum and Violent Ultimatum are banned, as is any card on either of the banned lists or on the watch list.
Top card may not be known (this is a reminder, not a rules change).
Players may attack any player, not just adjacent players.
Concessions are mandatory; to wit, all players are presumed to concede if they are going to die that turn, doing so at the time least convenient for the player killing them, and players may concede at any other time. There will be no replacement of players who do not post within 48 hours of mod prodding, they will instead be dropped from the game. If colours have not been finished being assigned when someone is dropped, the game will be restarted instead.
Seating will be as follows:
White
Black
Red
Blue
Green
Colours will be allocated slightly differently; each player will, in order of sign-up, choose the colour one other player of their choice will play. This allocation will be done after sign-ups are complete.
Edit:
Ah!

sigh, i was looking for a game to in with, but i won't due to the concessions (You know my thoughts on this, Whamm, I'm not trying to start a debate. This is your game, you do what you want and you have made it clear up front.)

Quote from Seppel »
I love Joboman, Poggy, Niv, and Vezok, because, while they may not be the best players, they still try to win. Having fun is the most important thing to a game, but I've learned that if you don't try to win, then you're ruining everyone else's fun.
Whamme: are you waiving your right to give out an additional 3 summer points
...after searching for a few minutes, I can't find the relevant rules.
If people want an explanation for the rules:
Violent and Cruel are banned for how comprehensively they can destroy your board position early (Violent does so while bypassing diversification of permanent types, Cruel is just arguably too good a play not to make so someone should pretty much always lose their hand to it turn two).
Titanic, on the other hand, actually relies on having a decent board position, and while it can feel a bit random, you look at it afterwards and go 'shoulda done something about all those guys'.
Dropping rules are because of the assigning of colours is supposed to allow tactical colour choices, and a new player taking over an abandoned colour would defeat that ("you look like a newbie, have blue" *drops* *experienced player takes blue* *facepalm*)
Speaking of which, the colour choice rules are just an interesting idea I had. I suspect it may be prey to collusion, but hey. At least that way you know where the alliances are in advance.
Green is last so that the 'best player' can be given a tough hand.
Attack anybody is just sort of "why not?".
Concession rules are because that's the unwritten rules my face-to-face multiplayer games play by, and if I can't be dictatorial when creating a game, when can I be?

I ask why the two ultimatums are banned? If you're going that far, why not Titanic as well?
