Faolin Dream-Catcher is an elf planeswalker originally from and adventurer from Zendikar. He dreamed of exploration, but when the Eldrazi broke free and started ravaging the lands, adventure became dangerous. Not one to be deterred from what he wants, he started a group and quickly found them to be family. However, he cost his family his life when he wanted to explore ruins near the Akoume Mountains. While exploring the ruins, a large horde of Eldrazi showed up. In the next few minutes, every one of his group was slaughtered trying to protect Faolin, and in that moment his spark ignited, removing him from the plane, not before unleashing an elemental fury, and he then found himself on Ravnica, a structured world were adventure isn't common. He now moves through the multiverse, trying to run from his past mistakes.
Magic: Being a URG planeswalker, uses elemental and reality shifting magic. He can form the elements into elementals and can change the physical world in the blink of an eye. His magic embodies exploration, discovery, and change, and encompasses the natural world.
Fayruz was born on a small Plane. The plane was very dry, with small forests and rivers. Her Pharoah was Lord Ausir, a great man who ruled beneficially for his people, but when he died, his sole heir was a cruel and malicious man named Ausir the Second. Ausir II hated how little power he had over his subjects and wanted to return to an absolute monarchy, with his power as the highest authority. Everyone was his subject, shouldn't he have power over their lives? But he couldn't just retract all those laws, he'd have a civil war, he'd lose so many soldiers and citizens. but wait, he was a Necromancer. Every Pharoah of this land learned Necromancy as is tradition. Most used it to seek guidance from past Pharoahs, but Ausir II decided to use it differently. He slowly began drying up the rivers, killing crops and livestock with plagues, and when farmers and workers died, their corpses would be raised as mummies to serve in his glorious future.
Fayruz lived far outside her Pharoah's gaze near a small Oasis, and while her people were not powerful on their own, Fayruz herself had grown to become quite the adept Floromancer. She herself grew all the crops and food for everyone in the village, ensuring no one would die. But when word of their sparkling Oasis, untouched by the death of Ausir II's cruelty came to Ausir II's ear, he was both outraged, and intrigued. He demanded that a mage of her power be presented to him as a servant, to grow HIS feasts, and to stop her magic from keeping this land out of his grasp.
He sent a small hunting party towards Fayruz's Oasis, and when they learned of his coming, her friends and loved ones hurried Fayruz away to safety. But it was impossible to escape. Ausir II's men burned the Oasis, draining the water and mummifying the farmers and workers. They pursued Fayruz with her now undead loved ones, untethered by hunger or fatigue. Slowly they encrouched upon her, fear of her future nearly broke her just then, when sudden she found herself in a completely new world, no undead, no sand, nothing but cold steel and the most vibrantly blue waters she had ever scene.
She had unlocked her spark in that terror, and had become wisked away to a far new land.
After going on some adventures and returning to defeat Ausir, she had found her world merging with 4 others and after that had happened, she began to notice something very odd about the world around her. She began studying the water and soils from her land and the lands of others, as quixkly as she ould before they all slowly dissolved, and found an odd conclusion. Different waters were not only different in vibrancy, but also in potency. the same seemed to be for soil samples, plant samples. There was an almost elemental difference between the very material that made up their worlds. She slowly began warping to different planes to begin studying their plant life and minerals, in hopes of uncovering what she was now dubbing the 5 elements of the universe.
Fayruz is a Floromancer, one who can magically manipulate the growth of plants. She's quite powerful now that her spark has ignited, being able to feed entire armies with food, as well as completely immobilize those with her plants. She's very green with a splash of White and Blue in her. She despises necromancy as well as selfishness in general.
