Vote for the poem(s) you feel is the best (up to two). Remember to adhere to the "Honor Code" when voting.
While it is understood there is no absolute means to monitor the intent of a vote, we ask each PRC participant to exercise integrity when voting out of respect for the contest:
- Please give each poetry submission an equal opportunity in attaining your vote.
- Please read, or at least skim, all the entries before voting.
- Please do not vote for your friends just because they're your friends.
The Poetry Running Contest puts good faith in its participants to act in an honorable manner.
Contestants, remember, you are required required to vote (and you can't vote for yourself)!
Happy voting!
*Interested new participants should submit their poems here.
I just noticed the grammatical error in my poem's title. That's embarrassing.
I voted for Waning Moon, because I liked the theme and how it stuck to it. I got a mystical vibe from it that I haven't felt from a poem in awhile.
I used my second vote for Zelderex's poem simply because I enjoyed reading it the most. That might be a terrible standard, but I'm sure worse atrocities have been committed.

I vote to create ties. Because everybody's a winner by my book

You should have heard the death wail I let out when I realized I was going to have to insert a 4-way-tie into the OP for round 192. I have no doubts that most of the voters were like "HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN WIN THIS WEEK."
voted for Waning Moon.. Liked the use of the astrological signs in addition... the "but i prefer Scorpio" kinda made me smile.. (bias as i am one). But over all i felt it moved me the most this week.
Here are the Poetry submissions for this week:
Bad Country Song by Blippy the Slug
Shoulder's Beauty by Ophidian Eye
Untitled "While centuries go by" by Suechtler
Waning Moon by Guilan
Story Time by Zelderex
Untitled 18 by Queengothica13
On the way back by Ilvaldi
