Vote for the poem(s) you feel is the best (up to two). Remember to adhere to the "Honor Code" when voting.
While it is understood there is no absolute means to monitor the intent of a vote, we ask each PRC participant to exercise integrity when voting out of respect for the contest:
- Please give each poetry submission an equal opportunity in attaining your vote.
- Please read, or at least skim, all the entries before voting.
- Please do not vote for your friends just because they're your friends.
The Poetry Running Contest puts good faith in its participants to act in an honorable manner.
Contestants, remember, you are required required to vote (and you can't vote for yourself)!
Happy voting!

For me, No Words stands about everything else submitted this week, including and perhaps especially my own piece, and I'll be more than a little bit disappointed if it doesn't win. Short and purposeful, it managed to make me feel hollow in a way that is nearly impossible to achieve intentionally, but occurs frequently on accident. Great work Crusible.
My votes go to Hero and "He cracks his joints...".
*cough* its easier if you clickify the buttons
Edit: I'm starting to wonder if I did something wrong because all of three people have dropped in, as far as I can tell, one of them forgot to actually vote, and Preve (hopefully) accidentally self voted.
Could we have a repeat of the week where no one won? We shall see.

Just been away from the forums for a while. I'm used to polls in the thread rather than on top of it. Wouldn't be the first time there was a huge tie in PRC.

I recall there was one time, well before I started hanging around here, but I saw it in the archive, when nobody won because there were so many issues with the voting being messed up that, after penalties and disqualifications, there were zero valid votes for any participant. I remember seeing that they attempted to re-do the poll later, but I'm not sure if they succeeded that time.
Mostly it's just weird how slow this poll is moving. Usually by the 48 hour mark (it's at the 43 as of this post), the majority of voting and discussion has occurred.
my mouth is full of winsome lies -

it feels like life's a decent plan
Voted for No Words, but overall I didn't feel this week, but perhaps it's because the past two weeks were pretty stellar. Anyways, Crusible delivered a really nice poem this week, short, concise, but the wordplay was on point.
I voted for Flyswatter. It was the only one that really caught my eye this week. Straightforward poems of desperation ftw!
Perhaps we all have gotten spoiled with the previous awesome weeks. Here's to more like them!

Unbelievably sorry about the delay. I really don't know what came over me. Huge congratulations to Crusible. To make up for this, I'll finally get to a long overdue update.
