Vote for the poem(s) you feel is the best (up to two). Remember to adhere to the "Honor Code" when voting.
While it is understood there is no absolute means to monitor the intent of a vote, we ask each PRC participant to exercise integrity when voting out of respect for the contest:
- Please give each poetry submission an equal opportunity in attaining your vote.
- Please read, or at least skim, all the entries before voting.
- Please do not vote for your friends just because they're your friends.
The Poetry Running Contest puts good faith in its participants to act in an honorable manner.
Contestants, remember, you are required required to vote (and you can't vote for yourself)!
Happy voting!

I keep forgetting to edit my poems. Voted for the one thing that I kinda felt.

my mouth is full of winsome lies -
and eyes are full of death besides
but luckily the soul is wise -
it sees beyond my blindness and
forced failure makes a better guise,
so as i come again alive,
it feels like life's a decent plan
I saw something I liked in every poem, but Blippy's is the only one that I felt displayed a sense of focus. He had a clear idea of what he was writing, and he wrote it. I find that admirable. I think, in hindsight, I might have voted for 14, but I might have been temporarily offset by it's simplicity.
"Red Liquid" was very nearly my favorite PRC submission in ages, but for the last three lines.
Limericks are awesome, that was an easy one to pick.
Red liquid was nice too.
Honorable not voted for mentions to:
Things Happen: I wanted to like it more but it seemed wishy washy kinda. Still came close to voting for it though.
explanation: don't need one for liking this.

I feel like only giving one vote. Blippys is cool, preves had some nice lines, I wanted just a little more from LuckNorris.. But I guess if I want more, it'll get my vote. I like the way the word "us" delivered itself in my head. But Preves a close second. Okay, I'll vote for both.
Here are the Poetry submissions for this week:
Explanation by Preve
Untitled by Blippy
14 by 4thdimensionalbubble
(Old school sonnets, yo)DREAM SONNET 1 by Minion of Boredom
Red Liquid by iCwalzy
Things Happen by LuckNorris

I really liked the rhyming scheme in Explanation, some clever words in that piece. I dig it.
14 was simple, but conveyed a nice, relate able message.
