Kinda long, I know, but it would be appreciated if you read it. And comments always help me a ton, and be as harsh as you want
Her
A maelstorm of unknown faces,
of brown overcoats and jet black suits.
Yet she resides like a beacon of life,
the sole figure in the eye of the storm.
All I can manage is to stare at her
not speaking, not glancing back
cursing every bittersweet moment.
Her hair trails back into silent wisps
Clashing with her hazel-flavored eyes
Her azure dress is a crimson inferno
against the backdrop of the streets.
The hurricane wanes, allowing a path
I reach out, and grab her silken hand
And she returns the slight hint of a smile.
The moment stretches on forever,
until with a sudden jarr I am pulled
back toward my own sinful world.
I cry out with forlornness unbound
But my scream is caught in the frost
As I see her final, fatal tear.
My wounds are bleeding
my scars aren't healing
and the clock chimes on,
reminding me of every second
in my own personal purgatory.
