Battle hardy, hold the ranks
Steady flanks, look not to guard
Lock the shields, march! - first phalanx!
Advance and double time and charge.
Meet them at the base and fight
Hack and slash and cut them down
Through the darkness to first light
Scythe and whirl and cut them down.
All alone in foreign land.
Fighting off the wild rapscallion
Heroic legionaires did stand.
In the final battle of the Last Battalion.
