Since this forum is completely dead (jeez, 4 threads? EVER!), I decided to post a poem. This one has literally won me a $1000 by the international society of poets. What do you think?
Firestorms
The sunset is akin to the tide
Waves of scarlet and violet
Ebbing away into shadowed night
The clouds light up in a hellish splendor
Illuminating the sky in blazing glory
Appearing to all who looked upon
As the firestorms of war.

Ride the bomb till you touch ground

Break the glass
Cause this is an emergency
Breaking news report our lives are gone
We have a reporter at the scene
He says it’s a freak accident and not to be alarmed

Say goodnight because we’re done
We are well past due
And the late fees are piling up
That ends our broadcast day.
