Though they didn’t know it at the time, the war had really only just begun. They thought it was over. They thought they had won. They were wrong.

Plenty Purple bounded towards the rest of her party. They were a motley crew to say the least, but she loved them all. They knew that this could be there last few moments together, but then they had known that from the very beginning. They knew who there enemy was and exactly where to find them. The waiting was over, the time to act…was now. ^^
The leaders of the operation, a dark priest who went by the name Cyric, and a young mage dressed entirely in blue-green robes, called the group to attention. They addressed them of there goals, though it was really no more than a reminder. Everyone knew what was to be done. What must be done. In the middle of the speech, Warblade, a young master swordsman ignited his magical swords of..magical~ness. Cyric, the Cyan mage, and the others immediently stopped talking and unsheathed there weapons in response. Bursting forth from the woods around them came several of the Salvation scoundrels. The appearances of Craven and Sneakyhomunculus were unmistakable. How sneaky and craven these two must have been to sneak up on the group like that! The good guys (the ‘News people, obviously) would be able to take these apparent scouts, but if the enemy knew there location… Tune in next time to read the next installment of….

Ok, so I was really bored when I wrote this and people have told me that writing may help me right now. I know it isn’t what you would call “good”. In fact it’s more along the lines of “eye bleedingly bad” but when has that ever stopped me from posting anything before? I know you all can’t wait to find out what happens!
A few spelling/grammar errors... "there" instead of "their," forgetting commas and added commas, "these" instead of "those," etc. Not that awful, though. The conflict isn't also that impressive- I'd say that MTGnews is too similar to Salvation in basic premise for them to really have much of a "war". Maybe Misetings would be a better protagonist/antagonist... they're completely different in almost every way from virtually every other MTG forum in existence.
