So after seeing some of the Eternalize cards, I felt a little underwhelmed, as it doesn't play as strongly as they make it out to be based on Embalm. I was hoping to get more out of Embalm and Eternalize... and so I started designing some cards that work with the theme.
The first is a Legend based on Embalming creatures and creature tokens.
Sutkun, Master Embalmer4WU
Legendary Creature - Human Cleric
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may create a token copy of a creature card in your graveyard, except it's a white Zombie in addition to its other colors and types.
Embalm 4WU
4/4
He might be too good with just dumping reanimation targets in your graveyard though... So I went back to my original design.
Sutkun, Master Embalmer1WU
Legendary Creature - Human Cleric
Creature cards in your graveyard have Embalm. Their Embalm cost is equal to their mana cost.
Embalm 3WU
1/4
This is a little more fair I think, and gives you a lot of options still. I like this version much more than my original just because it's simple and likely not going to break the game.
Vizier of the ForgottenWW
Creature - Bird Cleric
Flying
When Vizier of the Forgotten enters the battlefield, you may shuffle any number of face up creature cards you own From Exile into your library.
Embalm 3WW
2/2
So this one might cause a few riots because Exile is sacred ground to many, but I feel like it's really not causing any harm to the actual game. Since Embalm is such a high cost and high risk mechanic (Tokens are easy to destroy), I felt that something like this could give an Embalm player some Extra Gas when they start to run out of options. It has a very niche role that seems fitting for white, and I just think it might be doable as a single card known for that.

This! So much this! I demand that this card exists!

Hour of Devastation really sucks. Embalm, it seems, is going to be a one-and-done mechanic; which is terrible.
There are lots of fancy things you could do with Embalm, but - really - I'm more interested in the french vanillas that can be meant to be somewhat constructed playable:
1G 2/2 Embalm 1G 2G Reach 1/2 Embalm 0 3U When ~ enters the battlefield, draw a card. 2/2 Embalm Discard two cards. 2R Haste 2/2 Embalm R 2W First Strike 2/2 Embalm WW
Also, Astral Slide like cards that work with Embalm:
Maw of the Afterworld1B
Enchantment
Whenever a zombie enters the battlefield under your control, you may pay 1. If you do, each opponent loses 1 life and you gain 1 life.
Gate of Opportunities1W
Enchantment
Whenever a zombie enters the battlefield under your control, you may pay W. If you do, you may search your library for a card with the same name, reveal it, and put it in your hand, then shuffle your library.
Vizier of the ForgottenWW
Creature - Bird Cleric
Flying
When Vizier of the Forgotten enters the battlefield, you may shuffle any number of face up creature cards you own From Exile into your library.
Embalm 3WW
2/2

The problem here is not that exile is sacred, but that one of the ways to overcome memory and tracking issues with embalm is using the exiled cards themselves as token proxies. If you allow cards that still are used as stand-ins for tokens to be taken from exile you make the logistics of using embalm itself more complicated - this becomes an additional issue if embalm is now not even restricted to cards printed with embalm as your other designs suggest.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

That's actually a very good point that I did not consider. Although Embalm provides the tokens for the cards that can Embalm, I could see where it could lead to memory issues. I think it is still possible to have a card like this, but it would just require some extra effort. Thanks for spotting this!
