Valentine's day.. A time where couples can spend money on candy and gifts for each other, while single people can become bitter and jaded. This week, you will create a MTG Valentine's Day inspired banner and avatar using words associated with the holiday.
(Since, I got swamped with work and everything caught up to me, this theme will behind the times slightly. I wanted to make a valentine's day theme last week but I didn't find much time and/or motivation.)
Theme: Valentine's Day, but you must follow this checklist when creating the banner (You must use 1 art from each of the categories and the avatar isn't restricted by this)

I think that was the way most of us slightly demonic people went on this.:p
So close to being done just need to finish chooseing the effects and I'll be done, theres just so many to choose from.:banghead:
P.S How hard would it be to raise the avvy size to 50KB Just one extra frame would make them ook so much better.

Great banner it looks great but the text is a little hard to read. Maybe make it a little bigger or something, no offense.:D

That looks good but your avvy still has a white square around it I'm not sure if you want it there.
Overall very nice.

1) Open up the the file that is linked.
2) Copy the layer called Background, then delete the original background layer that is locked.
3) Using the circle Elliptical Marquee Tool, select the image.
4) Go to select > Inverse, then press backspace.
5) I am not sure if it is needed, but I like to have an Alpha channel. Go to channels (next to your layers tab) and click the create new channel button at the bottom.
6) Don't worry, disregard what you see, make the other channels visible again and hide the Alpha.
7) you should see a checkered background behind the circle with the image. Next go to Save As, and save the file in .PNG format.

maybe i should have said the border isn't rounded in one spot, that may have been easier to understand
@Spiderboy: Do we really need all 3 categories? I made one with only 1 section, but it is a lot better than one I made with all 3 in it.
For example: a sig that doesn't totally fit the criteria, but still looks nice IMO
