Wow... this is like... the poorest turnout I think we've seen for one of these in a while. That is not saying anything about the quality of the entries, but rather that very few of the regulars did anything for this one. Only four entries, and one is from someone who as far as I know has never entered before.
Myself, I would have entered if it was left open until tonight, but alas... I was too busy. Work today, and last night I was so exhausted from work that I fell asleep straight after dinner.

Yeah, I have to agree. The turnout was very low. The main reason I didn't enter was because I just couldn't think of any good ideas. I prefer to not enter than to force something that looks like crap, so hence no entry from me.
So I guess even with the low turnout and lack of rules, my animated banner was discredited...

Sorry. I gave you ample time to modify your entry and enter something under the 500KB limit. Given that there were four full days (plus a few hours) between the "it's too big" response and when the round closed, I didn't feel it was fair to let it in.
